    Hi Raquel, great vlog love, very well explained 🩷😊 I agree with you that everyone’s minds are different which plays a role in everything we do.
    I think you do a great job! You work shifts, run the household, run errands and play mum’s taxi as well as the amount of tidying up and cleaning you do! Like I’ve said before, you’re like the energiser bunny 😅
    I’m a listener/kinesthetic learner and just do as I go like an ingrained routine but in all fairness, it’s a helluva lot easier nowadays since it’s just hubby and I and my adult son who is hardly ever home and only messes up his room. Still, once a day I go in and take out any glasses/cups etc and that’s it). It’s up to him to wipe over his bedsides etc and vacuum. Usually once a month I do it all with him (as encouragement) as he is high functioning neurodivergent and men in general just don’t see what us women see with cleaning 😉
    I have a list of cleaning duties for my cleaning staff for exit cleans, because it leaves no excuse for them if they’ve missed something (but they sometimes still do) if only they’d realise it’s a false economy, because they have to go back and fix it to meet real estate standards. 🤷🏼‍♀️
    I really don’t know what’s gone wrong with the world these past C-19 years, it’s become ridiculously over the top “woke and politically correct” and people seem to be quite nasty, especially keyboard warriors 🙄😅 We all need to exercise a bit more kindness and understand that we’re all different.
    Again, great vlog! See you next time xox
    P.s. congratulations on almost 1500 subs 😁❤️

We should all be kinder to each other as its not easy trying to keep a house clean, works etc. so thankyou for your channel and look forward to the next one 😊 xx

      @@lindseynewnam3621 I think there are far more people out there with undiagnosed ADHD then you’d know, I also know a lot of people like to attack people who say they think they have ADHD, people will say “you’re using ADHD as an excuse to be lazy”. People really upset me when they say that because it stops people like you and I seeking help and advice because we believe these people making nasty comments and then we don’t get help because we think we are just lazy. We’re really not

    Great video and it lovely to see a normal home that isnt already clean etc. Ive got fibromyalgia and struggle with pain and energy so i do work on a list, certain jobs get done certain days but if i miss it i can catch up within a day or two. Always feel sorry for your dog. He looks like he wants some attention. Prob means if I had a dog again I'd never get anything done! Good video.

    • @RaquelTrotter
      @RaquelTrotter  27 дней назад

      @@elizabethtait2469 This is very true, if I gave woody attention every single time he asked for it then I’d never get anything done because he mainly pesters for attention when your busy, when you’re sitting on the sofa doing nothing he doesn’t want attention. Woddy also knows full well how to actually ask for cuddles and he isn’t shy about doing it. When he is following me around the house like he does it’s because he wants to be let out in the garden to chase tractors and such, he can’t be out there unsupervised until the fence goes in, so he spends the whole day following me round so I don’t forget to let him out the door and he doesn’t miss an opportunity to be let out lol.

    13:02 it would make life easier if you left the kids rooms to them to sort out and if they have dirty dishes or washing, they do that as well. It’s not your job to do that for them, especially now they’re teenagers.

    I don’t know about anyone else but I also find there are days, many of them, where I just don’t want to clean. They add up too and add to overwhelm. No one really gives you a break and says it’s ok don’t clean.

    • @RaquelTrotter
      @RaquelTrotter  27 дней назад +1

      @@kerryasquith1867 I agree with you so much on this. Just one day where you loose focus or motivation and it feels like you’ve been down for months and it all becomes to much and then when the overwhelm kicks in your on a downward spiral. No one will ever tell you it’s ok don’t clean because many people who aren’t in our boat don’t see housework as a big problem or as actual work, they will never tell you it’s ok to not do it because to them it’s like telling you ‘don’t take a day off of enjoying yourself and relaxing’

    7:53 do you have adhd? Because what you’re describing are typical symptoms of adhd. The one you’re describing here is called object permanence/out of sight out of mind. But you also show many other signs of having adhd.

  • @autumn5852
    @autumn5852 3 дня назад

    11:22 why isn’t your daughter doing her own washing? You said she was a teenager so I’m wondering why she’s bringing her laundry to you?
    I’m guessing she has some kind of disability that prevents her looking after herself and doing her own laundry etc, which means you really do have your hands full.
