8:04 😂😂 you are a crack up 💙 a beautiful pub in its time I'm sure! Stands lonely now, awaiting its fate 😢 I saw the original tiles on the fireplace 😮 & there was a buffet style cupboard with some turned wood pieces...lovely! Nice find guys, take care ✨️👌🏾

That place has been there for 100 years or more ..... Whatever box they shove up to replace it will not be as beautiful as that building could be again. Think of the History that Pub has seen, shame we demolish our History in all ways.

It’s so sad when a pub has to be demolished, apart from the booze they are an integral part of the needle and thread that brings society together , a place where mates can have an honest chat about what’s on there minds , some of the greatest ideas came from discussions in a pub , drafted on the back of a coaster . The same furniture for generations, same look , same smell , same sounds , a familiar watering hole . Love ya mask Donny , i burst into laughter when i’d seen it 😂

That was built as a late 19th century tourist attraction, with a view of the city (hence the name) from the beer garden. Tetleys sold it off at the end of the Seventies and it became a real ale free house but went bust. I used to drink in there. One big problem was the lack of a car park -there never was much local trade.

This pub was one of the best in Bradford. It was run by an Bradford/Polish couple. After the Bradford landlord passed away his widow carried on. She was one of the strongest and most beautiful people I have ever known. The Prospect of Bradford was once a testament to multi-cultural Bradford.
Last time I visited was after it had shut. I was researching for a possible tour. I walked to the back edge of the carpark to look at Bradford, and a kestrel hovered up to my eye level. Then it saw me. I could see it thinking: "Wot the f888s that!!!!?" Obviously the first time it had seen a human on its hunting ground.
