- Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S is a Japanese exclusive for the Game Gear, and if you know anything about Game Gear games, it's that they are pretty bare bone, especially compared to games today, but that doesn't mean they're bad. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S has simplistic gameplay, bright colors, cool music and a power house IP like Sailor Moon backing it. Is it possible that this game might just be a hidden gem. Agreed. Though I actually never played this as a kid and have no nostalgia for it myself. Though my nostalgia for Sailor Moon did kick in a bit.

Tails' Adventure on the Game Gear is pretty solid.
I haven't played it, but I remember Sonic Triple Trouble being fun.

This game is strikingly similar to the Sailor Moon R game for Gameboy. I'm sure it's no coincidence as it was the same developer but I'm almost lead to believe the game gear version was a port that was given a small overhaul

0:40 Whoa, whoa, there is a Shining Force game that America saw, and can be downloaded on the 3DS estore, and the third Shining Force game gear game did get an English translation recently. But other than that my brother just restored a Game Gear for fun and we both came to that exact conclusion lmao.

@@InfiniteComboReviews the Shining Force games are mostly really great, especially if you like Fire Emblem or other turn based games. Number 2 is one of the best and super easily accessible and inexpensive. It's one of my all time favorite games, and you can get it on the Sega Collection for the PS4 or Switch. Shining Force 3 is the rarest and difficult to emulate, (Sega Saturn,) but probably the best in the series and fantastic. There are fan translations for scenario 2 and 3 for SF 3 but, sadly, I can't figure out how to emulate that shit haha. Also there are 3 Gaiden games for the Game Gear. The first one does not have an English translation, sadly, but the second was released in America and is available on the 3DS estore if you don't mind paying 3.99. This is confusing: SF CD on the Sega CD is a 16 bit remake of Gaiden 1 and 2, plus some extra stuff, so we do have technically an english translation of Gaiden 1. Gaiden 3 recently had an english translation, which is the one I'm about to play now. SF Feather for the DS looks stupid so I'm not gonna play it. Hopefully this book I just wrote helps.
@@user-pv9pv4xf9c Well I can't say I'm a big fan of Fire Emblem but I do like the FFTactics games so its worth checking out and I actually do own that Sega collection, I just never played it. I'm suuuuper back logged. Still, I appreciate the novel. I had no idea that Shining Force had so many games.
@@InfiniteComboReviews I appreciate the replies! Since you're backlogged, I suggest skipping SF 1 and going to 2. SF 1 has awful maps with all rough terrain, which was probably added to extend the game's short gameplay, but SF2 is golden the whole way through. It's so ironic, man, that when you become an adult you can buy whatever game you want but you hardly have the time to play them haha.
@@user-pv9pv4xf9c That's true, but to be fair the reason I don't have time to play more games is because I spend so much time on this channel. If I abandoned making videos I could easily beat a game a week most likely.
Do all the sailor moon games!!! Make it a series
That's the plan.
Wish they had made it so you could play as the Inners and Outers besides just Moon and Chibi Moon, and added more of the Daimons from the S series instead of just the four you see here, but decent game (although I hated that Luna-P mini game, only beat it once), although the MMPR Game Gear games are better and I wish they went for the beat em up route for S instead of the fighting one.
Also not a fan of how Kaorinite was the final boss when she wasn't the main villain.
Yeah, I feel you. Even if they could have only squeezed in the inter scouts, that would have been cool. I also agree about the MMPR game gear games. They are hidden gems (I've covered them as well though the movie one which will be getting an updated video is suuuuper old).
It is slow 4 the emulator? or the original version was like that?
Emulator. I haven't played the original cart since I don't own a Japanese Game Gear or the game, but I find that it doesn't really change that kind of issue either way.

Definitely not interested in this one unless they release a Cowabunga Collection style Sailor Moon collection. A Sailor Moon game where you can't play as most of the main five is not interesting to me unless there's some Sailor Mercury. only game I never heard of.
