Aside from the fire and DRAMATIC INCREASE IN SKILL DIFFICULTY, this mode as shown me that SMO is the greatest 3D Mario Game. Mario just moves so easily. His jumps are more in tune with what and where the player wants to go. More challenging moons are there to go after if you would like. The music, the levels, and the secrets. This crazy mod showed me how much I love SMO.
definitely the best controls, but it's pretty repetitive tbh
The chain chomps are immune to lava/poison because of the sub area in Cascade where you have to ”domino” them and hit them into a hole, since they’re on poison there they need to have immunity to it! (Short explanation of the question at the start of Cascade at the first moon 04:02)

In wooded kingdom, at the start I saw the death counter was at five, and I kept watching. Once he hit the next checkpoint, I looked at the death counter and saw it was at 21.
The “ices” in Sand Kingdom are actually crystals because when sand get too hot become crystal

This made me realise how strange it is that poison is instant death and lava isn't. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Lava would "just" set you on fire. The poison could be acid, which can eat you quite quickly.
