I was bullied so much as a kid even though all I ever wanted was to make friends and make them smile, just because I was a little different. "No one like me doesn't mean you won't like me" instantly brought tears to my eyes because it's such a beautiful way to say what I could never put into words. More people need to hear this in their lives.
This song really hits close to home, lyrically. That feeling of isolation, having no one-- yet still trying to be the best person you can be, while surrounded by the ugliness of the world.
And in MuMu's case, she's practically immortal due to the nature of her race. Outlasting most other people, watching as she passes them by, through death or pure disconnect.
Yet in spite of all of this, she puts on a bright smile, despite how much she's hurting inside.
True that, some persons have that as well.
I have seen few of them, I gonna tell you, they are great matured people having that kind of secret depression.

You know stuff like this makes me want a lot more ops to be canonically affiliated with rhodes as more than just a partnership because you see issues like this and they're simply... solved by being at rhodes. We have the immortal lynx, literal gods, etc. She doesn't have to be lonely anymore.
I listened to the song with no background info on who Muelsyse was, and I thought it's a little more than just a confession of an immortal. I've been listening to songs asking whether they should let the memories go away or keep them desperately to their heart, to not let it be forgotten. This song sounded like an asnwer to such wonders. "No one like me doesn't mean you won't like me" felt like "in the end, no matter what they say about us, you are, and will be with me". "I'll let you go", on one hand, means "I can't keep you alive by my side anymore", but on the other perspective of a mortal, "the memories you had with me will not imprison you from the person I loved", as the song opens with "Don't let the loneliness stop you from being kind".

Benath all that smiles and jokes, you can tell she's lonely and had seen so many things. The life of an elf is to see everything yet outliving those around you. It even sadder when you realize that the lyrics are alluding that Mulsyse is the only possible remaining elf in the Terra.
It said in the wiki that there are still quite a few villages and clans in the forests of sami though it's possible she's the last of her clan or family which is tragic either way and I would love to know more about her backstory.

When i first saw mumu in comics, i thought she's just another cheerful friend trope, but my goodness her character and story is so deep even the seaborns are aftaid of it.
Also she reminds me of that one manga about an elf after her hero party has slain the demon king, and she watches her friends slowly age and her not changing physically.
Your second sentence is becoming more relevant as time goes on,because said comic is getting an animated adaptation.

As the song that represent a character which many peoples said depict the story of Lowlight's past, it full of optimism and positive vibes. The mood feels like gentle breeze and the arrangement so lovely.
For some reason this song makes me tears up... Its good song but somehow theres a deeper meaning behind the lyrics n the melody. After reading some of the comments in here explaining her backstory I finally understood why I am tearing up...

Aww, this is an absolute vibe, yet the lyrics reflect a lot on Mumu's loneliness from being the last of her race, if you really listen. Really fitting for her upbeat and bubbly personality with her sadness mostly hidden underneath.

Mumu and ferdinand are the only people that trully care about Rhine Lab. Kristen only care about achieving her dreams of flight past the false sky, Franks only care about making the pioneer more prosper, Jara only want to nurse kristen, Parvis only want to research something great, saria is also nursing kristen.
