@@muniaisworthit I wanted it to be good, but I was disappointed tbh. The MC is kind of like a mindless idiot just obsessed with "flailing his fists" at the guy who harmed him, and he never talks. For manga I'd suggest reading Blame! (extremely surreal dystopian future)
True i didn't see this anime until 2021 and years, at this point decades of watching anime this stood out above so many and I never heard of it. I only came across from finding the opening song on Spotify while looking up "Japanese Radiohead" then finding this anime while looking up the band.

I can't express into words how in love I am with this video... It happens so rarely, absolutely perfect.
You should definitely watch the anime then
@@Fightanddie Oh I hella watched the heck out of the anime, who said I didn't xD. Loving this video is an awesome bonus 💕💖.
ikr
ill never forget this anime, one of my faves
Born in 1990 but I only started watching anime from the year 2018 onwards. Ghost in the Shell and this were my first animes that I watched. There really is nothing like those two in the current year. This OP popped into my recommended. I almost cried listening to it. It's such a great song. Might be time to watch ergo proxy for the second time.
I don't think people understand how goated this show and opening is 💖
The sound is great, the animation is great, the story is great and the characters are great and overall I enjoyed it a lot.
The anime that saved my life two years ago... I’m crying
I always sat in silence and listened to this song when I was going through struggles in my life over the last decade, look into the lyrics and recognize the melody for a certain genre. He's calling for you.
this music is excellent, whenever i have a lot of stress or feel down, this music helps me
I love how this legendary anime is totally hidden gem category and the few of us know it
The spinning shot with the music crescendo... excellent
at least he didn't pee on the toilet seat LOL
LMAO
So manly xD
thank you for uploading this andrew
all the vibes coming from ergo proxy are simply the most unique ones in this world
~~~
The way this amazing song fits in with Ergo Proxy is outstanding ... This Anime deserves to have masterpiece grade not excellent, by the way. I think Re-L is the coolest female Anime character. NGE, GITS, SEL and Ergo Proxy :)
What's SEL? I couldn't recognize that one
Serial Experiments Lain, it's quite rare to get a quality Anime about computers :)
Antanas Paskauskas Oh! I actually watched some episodes of it, but it never come to my mind haha
Asuka fan ? ;) Makes me remember End of Evangelion straight away
Antanas Paskauskas Yeah she's my fave of all time!
Great edit! The ending, lol..
the anime today cant compare to the anime's like this , ergo proxy, wolfs rain,etc. great art, story, and the emotion you feel while watching it really sticks to you. i can still feel the nostalgic feeling from these anime's till today. really awesome...
Check out the 4-episode OVA Exaella. It is very little known, you probably have not seen it.
I finally found my crowd in the comment section
ヴィンセントが両手広げて空仰ぐカットすこ
Top 10 best opening, but this one is very special.
Such a great work with the editing, thank you!!!
This video, anime and song just never grow old for me. TY
This is one of the greatest anime I've ever watched in my entire life.
have you tried Texhnolyze?
@@muniaisworthit Yeah. Not a big fan of the MC in that one.
@@noxepoch3325 I haven't finished Texhnolyze yet but I've seen good reviews of it and specially the ending.so I'm curious
@@muniaisworthit I wanted it to be good, but I was disappointed tbh. The MC is kind of like a mindless idiot just obsessed with "flailing his fists" at the guy who harmed him, and he never talks. For something classic of a similar flavor as this anime (dystopian cyberpunk-ish), I would suggest Ghost in the shell (anime series in order), Psycho-pass (all of it, even the movies), Serial Experiments Lane (thought provoking). For manga I'd suggest reading Blame! (extremely surreal dystopian future)
@@noxepoch3325 yeah I know all of it.I wanna watch them.I have watched Lain.It was good and thought provoking.Pretty weird at times but I liked it.
This is the first time I've ever heard this song and yet it gives me this calming feeling of nostalgia
Its a shame how underrated this anime is
True i didn't see this anime until 2021 and years, at this point decades of watching anime this stood out above so many and I never heard of it. I only came across from finding the opening song on Spotify while looking up "Japanese Radiohead" then finding this anime while looking up the band.
it is not, it just attracts another kind of fans
@@abrahamalviarez5870 by that logic every show is underrated
@@aerystargaryenii2565 it works like that, I saw this years ago, and it went strong when it came out, just because you miss it dont mean is underrated
@@abrahamalviarez5870 the problem was I never "missed it" It was that I never even heard of it until I accidentally stumbled upon it and I have yet to meet anyone in person who even knows about this show. Since it has no manga all my friends who mostly read the books have never even heard of this.
Yet from what I've seen online it gets alot of love from its fans and the love is always loud like "its a masterpiece" or "10/10". Which could be seen as overvalued praise to some.
So until I run into atleast 5 people in person who actually heard of Ergo Proxy I will continue to consider this to be underrated every year until it has another brief trend of popularity within the masses, if it ever does that is.
This was so early 2000s. Ergo Proxy, Wolf's Rain, Get Backers, Last Exile, etc.
Fantastic , Dark , Unique & Cute
This is one of the best songs in anime
