Bwa ha ha ha! I literally laughed out loud when I saw the Atari 2600 game. Comedy gold! Also loved the Zelda's Wild Breath. Trying to dodge those infamous Ninjas?
I am surprised that after showcasing your skills in Skate 3 you didn't show us snippets of the awesome PS3 titles, I Miss My 12 Front Teeth, Ambulance Driver vs. 2.62.9 and Emergency Room 12 which totally has a mission that is all about terrible skating accidents.
6:51 I remember ETA Prime mentioning something about Intel CPUs performing better (that is in general... the latest AM5 CPUs I think have no such problems) PS Can you cap the FPS at 30 in Citra thus eliminating the stuttering? I am not sure if RTSS can be used in emulation basically.
RTSS can be used on most emulators. and the whole Intel is better for emulation isn't true when we get to 50 series CPU's most modern emulators are very multithreaded, so for rpcs3 for example the CPU in this system is one of the best you could use.
I love emulation and was wondering about the hardware requirements. So this helps a lot. Not sure if you made already a video about the different emulators but this would be a topic which interests me in terms of handling, compatibility, user interfaces etc. Otherwise great channel, I am watching now every video you made. :-)
Welcome! If you're looking for an easy way to get started with your own emulation frontend then check out this video: ruclips.net/video/MvW_rNK3LLM/видео.html That should be enough to get you started. Feel free to stop by the discord if you need a hand with anything :)
please do a vid on mods and shaders,, im new to this stuff, i would love to get gt1/2 looking great not all funky looking, i don't know if its posable ,,, but i would love to try
Nothing magical. Download the latest version of xenia canary and start it up. This is the goty edition of the game by the way. If it's not working for you then maybe there's a compatibility thing with your hardware and the emulator?
About 3ds emulation/citra. Okay some background on citra, citra is from the same team who did yuzu. They kinda left citra to rot a bit, according to some, to work on yuzu instead. There'll be updates that break games, so it's a version hunt really. Citra canary 2383 or citra nightly 1697 is the ones I use. Also a lot of times it's better to use opengl instead of vulkan if ya have that option with citra. Opengl has had more time in the oven.
@1:17 - "There's no kill like overkill", as a wise man once said. :) [though, frankly, my emulation needs start with Pokemon Ruby and end with Pokemon Emerald :P]
yeah but I've been running into constant problems with ROMS and Xenia. Constant crashes, lock up, the game yelling at me for "updates" to play games... just terrible experience. Also there is a weird lack of PS2 ROMs online. super weird.
I've also had nothing but problems with Xenia. It's a miracle when any game runs without crashing. There is a site that has hundreds of PS2 games, but I can't say it on here without my account being banned.
@@gotdangedcommiesitellyahwa6298 I’ve had ONE game to run flawlessly with Xenia. Red Dead Redemption. Admittedly a excellent game, but it’s the only one that would run.
how are you upscaling in pcsx2 without getting those black lines around text??? i cannot find a fix anywhere. only thing that gets rid of them is native resolution. please help. i have basically the same specs as you
Hmmm. Not sure. Are you using the latest version of PCSX2? That sounds like a texture filtering issue, I have the same issue on PSP, the solution there is to disable texture filtering.
@@TechDweeb i found the solution. as it was told to me: while the game is running, go to settings > game properties > graphics > rendering tab > tick "enable manual hardware fixes" > upscaling tab, then play around with the numbers for texture offsets. Start with something like 200x200
amazing video, thanks TechDweeb. I have a super massive gaming pc too. I love playing the original space invaders at one million k and its absolutely awesome!! ....🤣
I would never aim for ultra high-end emulation PC since 1440p is just my sweet spot but still nice video. Maybe I could do one but with all AMD setup (Ryzen 7 7700 + RX 6800) + dual boot OS [Linux for most emulations & single player PC games + soon to be Windows 12 for productivity, high-end emulation (Xenia, Cxbx/Xemu, Yuzu/Ryujinx) & games with anti-cheat mechanism] + 32 GB DDR5 RAM.
I will miss your spectacular retro gaming content and pray for your emulation soul. Do they no longer have prisons in Canada, since the Snitch attorneys are most likely landing their litigious helicopters on your front lawn by the time you are reading this. Again, be brave and best of luck hiding that Miyoo mini in your rectal cavity when in the Mario wing of solitary and leave some root beer and Oreos out for the cat while you are away 😢HA!

Very awesome to see all this stuff. Would love some tutorials on getting some of the hire end stuff running like the Snitch, WiiU and Xbox 360.
Thanks! Take us to the next level! Pretty please.
Aw thanks for the support buddy! Cheers!

Intel CPUs are better at single core performance which is great for emulation.

Is there an all-in-one front end you prefer?
Retrobat

Ay do you think I can do high emulation on a regular 4070? 800$ for a 4070 ti is to high for me.
Yeah I doubt you'd have any issues emulating any of the stuff that I did.
I think I’m going to use snitch every day to refer to nontendo’s system

I wish vita emulation was better. I want to play wipeout hd and little big planet.
