OMG and WOW! Plan C ! Fantastic find and what a SURPRISE for sure! I am sure you enjoyed it, and off season, not crowded as I imagine Summer will be! THANKS MUCH for sharing and ALL the BEST! Hope Mr Lemon gets fixed up :) Cheers from Upper Left! LOL as 41 degrees is my shorts threshold up here! Take care! :)
Light weight titanium forks and spoons that I use for backpacking and they don’t rattle very much. You can cook with them also and they don’t t get hot to the touch. That resort looks amazing. I’ll have to surprise my wife some day. That’s the “camping” she loves.
That private grill and propane fireplace is pretty epic! We use regular metal forks, spoons, and knives never really noticed the rattling. Hope all is well guys, we miss you!
Ditto. My wife and I enjoy the chicken and salad combos. We stayed at Woody Mtn during the spring in Flagstaff. Part timers and we enjoyed your video. Especially your meals. We kept saying, that's what we make! Safe travels.
I use stainless steel.....they don't rattle. This looks like a very cool RV Resort. I'll have to add it to my list.....a nice place to treat oneself. Kinda treat it as a vacation while traveling as we are much like you guys....we prefer to boondock as much as possible but every once in a while it's nice to treat yourself to some luxury.
Enjoy your videos. Will have to watch them again for your destination spots when I can retire and we can do some longer rv trips. Mr. Lemon makes me nervous. We have a very lightly used Thor Sequence and the more I watch of Mr lemon, the more I worry about using our van.
We live a mile off I-40 in Tennessee. Sometimes you hear road noise and sometimes you don’t. When we upgraded our solar and converted to lithium we stayed two weeks in a parking lot right next to the South Bend airport. Didn’t bother us a bit and we slept with windows open at night.
We visited the place in the summer to check out the tiny homes. The camp site I think really needs some trees for shade as it gets very hot in the high altitude sun. The facilities are very nice though. I think that is mount Humpreys in the background and not mount Lemon which I believe is near Tucson :)
That area is beautiful, My son almost went to work for the sheriff's department there after his time in the Marines. We spent a week going all over Flagstaff, Sedona, and Coconino County, I was all for it, would have been nice for return trips!! But Mama talked him into coming home to North Carolina.
Love the good amenities! I get excited about glamping. And there is snow! ❄️! Wow full fireplace! Big grill! What a nice place to call home! Love REI. Have always wanted the titanium spork😊 the restrooms are so nice. Wow that clubhouse is where I would sleep 💤
Hi Bob and Hillary 🤗 Look at all that Snow ❄️ Pretty Awsome!!! 😊 Good price for over night stay.. A lot of good qualities about it 👍 Bob's breakfast..dinner always gets me hungry ! 😁 Thank you for sharing you guys .😊❤️
Oh my, what an adventure. I find it interesting that we leave snow to come to the sun in the winter and you leave sun to find snow in the winter. Too funny.
Stainless steel for forks. You could wrap them in a tea towel if you’re worried about rattling. So funny how you went looking for snow. I dream of escaping the snow and cold. 🥶
I just bought bamboo utensil set. Will let you know what I think in the future. My van is a carbon copy of yours only with the pop up. I have had all of the wonderful adventures with my van as you have and more. (Adventures=meaning=problems)
Last spring we wanted to boondock near Sedona, but had to keep looking and ended up on a mountain, half way between Jerome and Prescott. (We love quirky old Jerome, so it was all good.)
I can see the "Time Share" look in Bob's eyes.....Hey we can make some money here and have a nice place to stay.....Noooooo. It looks like a really great place to stay on your way for a few nights. Will you take Mr. Lemon to Mt. Lemon ? Happy Trails
Beautiful scenery! I haven't explored that part of the USA since moving frim CO to WA. I love the "go with the flow" travel style! I have ended up in some amazing places that way along my journies. If it weren't for my photos, I would have thought I dreamt some of them. Great business plan on the luxe RV park. I follow pre-fab building channels where this has been mentioned. Quite an innovative ownership spin on the time-share platform. 🤔 Thanks for letting us tag along as usual. 🙏👍🏼🤗❤️
Loved the review, and became a subscriber because of it. One thing, that was not Mount Lemon. That was Mount Humphreys, the tallest point in Arizona. Mount Lemon is just outside of Tucson, about 4 hours south of where you were.
Love your videos! Your favorite RUclipsrs happen to be mine also. Thank you so much for taking us along on these really fun and informative adventures.☃️
Dollar Generals - Trueliving (Heavyweight Crystal). They come in individual fork 104 ct or Spoons 28 ct or assortments ???ct. They are clear, looking not white. A decent 👌 price. I even use them cooking. They're great and strong.
As a US Navy veteran, I commend your outstanding channel. Researching Class B vehicles for trips from CA to CO. I hold a Military National Park Pass. Planning multiple trips to explore the US. Your guidance has been invaluable. New to traveling with the class b van system.@@Vancaskeys
The only wood or bamboo, etc. tableware I've been able to find has practically flat spoons. Have you got a source for something that actually has a bowl like a real spoon?
I really enjoy the simple approach you take to everything.😊 Since we don't have an rv for now, I'm glad you showed the cabins. Looks like a nice place. BTW, I wanted to tell you Leisure Travel Rvs will be at the Wesworld RV show in May. Good opportunity to just see them. 😊
Forks: I use, 'World Centric'. They are made from plants, not plastic/petroleum and they are nice and sturdy with a little give, so they don't break. They hey help the environment because when they break down, they become soil, not waist. They are just a little more expensive, but I think they are worth it. And a side bonus is that they donate 25% of profits to environmental causes.
If you get sick of Mr. Lemon and want to convert a used van, come to Alabama. My husband and I bought a $80,000 used 2014 Sprinter. Surprise! Black mold all behind the ‘walls’. I gutted it and started over. We are broke… LOL, but we love our big van and Mercedes is so worth it. Stay awesome guys!
- AZ mud is no joke, that Promaster wouldn't have even made it to the gate. - Metal utensils! - You should carry a small space heater... why pay for both electricity AND propane? - Those cabins seems a little like a time share. $200k to get in. probably lots of covenants, probably you don't own the land, and likely extremely difficult to get out of. No Thanks! - always fun to hear from you folks.
Question about those cabins: Do you know if someone bought a cabin, is renting it out mandatory? Maybe that’s why they are priced like they are. Heck, they might be less expensive than some of those RVs at the show you just toured (EKKO?).
Do you guys have lane assist? We usually fly and drive....drive a LOT after flying. We're on 33 National Parks now. First time I had lane assist on a rental I hated it... and then loved it. It drastically reduces driver fatigue. I can drive for hours and then have energy for hikes, cooking and just enjoying the destination without that fuzzy feeling. Also, I almost passed on it for the corniness....Pink Jeep tour is highly recommended! I think it was the only thing i liked about Sedona AZ ;)
@Vancaskeys maybe we can put the batteries inside. Or. They have lithium batteries with heaters so that they will charge in below zero. Not that we want to be in below zero weather but batteries not working at 30 is a problem when we are going south in March!
Is your van 4 season. With snow around I would be afraid of our pipes freezing on our Pleasureway Ontour 2.2. I have been when it is 28 degree and been ok but worry anything below that. How cold were you?
Nice place, I don't think I would care to be in the middle of all the campers. Okay to rest overnight maybe. Pretty pricey though. There's a lot of people that can afford it, I'm sure. I wonder what the cost would be for the basic spot overnight?
@@Vancaskeys we tried the plastic route when we started full timing. Lasted a week. We then went to Goodwill and bought some old unique dinnerware. We finally bit the bullet and bought a set of nice s/s dinnerware.
Looking forward to the day we can head that way. Im a biker so Mt Lemmon is on my punishing list. That said a place like that in Flagstaff would be a great destination to add once in AZ. We travel with 3 dogs so BLM land and hiking trails would be a plus. As for forks, I've yet to get these but considering Bamboo by EcoChoice 6 1/2" Compostable Bamboo Forks.
MAGWARE Magnetic Camping Utensils Set - Portable & Reusable Metal Travel Flatware with a Case | Camping Cutlery Set | Knife, Fork & Spoon (15 PCS) Expensive, but well worth it -- wash it off, put it away, and it does not move or rattle

Thanks so much Marty! Plan C was the best surprise!!! 41=Shorts 😂😂😂
THANKS MUCH again! I forgot as noted below, I used Titanium Sporks in my RV, and now at home as a go to utensil :) Have fun and ENJOY! :)
Metal forks with some cabinet shelf lining underneath them. No rattling.
Light weight titanium forks and spoons that I use for backpacking and they don’t rattle very much. You can cook with them also and they don’t t get hot to the touch.
That resort looks amazing. I’ll have to surprise my wife some day. That’s the “camping” she loves.
Haha! You should surprise her....it was the best of both worlds.
That private grill and propane fireplace is pretty epic! We use regular metal forks, spoons, and knives never really noticed the rattling. Hope all is well guys, we miss you!
Miss you guys too! It's looking like we need to just get regular silverware 😂
Get Spoks. A spoon and fork combined. Haven't seen plastic, but we love the metal ones.
We use regular silverware and put them in a small container wrapped with a wash cloth. Great utensils and no rattles
We use regular silverware and don’t wrap them. We even put them in a metal silverware container and it doesn’t rattle.
Ditto. My wife and I enjoy the chicken and salad combos. We stayed at Woody Mtn during the spring in Flagstaff. Part timers and we enjoyed your video. Especially your meals. We kept saying, that's what we make! Safe travels.

We bought an inexpensive set of silverware from Walmart. We wrap them in a small face cloth so they don't rattle.
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like this is what we need to do.
Love this tour. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great resort to review: Hilton Head National RV Resort. In South Carolina

You are 💯 correct and when we watched it back we realized our mistake.
Just a quick note Laundry is equipped with Speed Queen Laundry Equipment , manufacture in Ripon WI .
wow! NICE park! And the purchase / rent out idea is a neat one.,
Great RV site. Also love the snow. We do not get same dense snow in South Africa.
It really was. It was fun to see the snow. Just glad we don’t have to deal with it daily anymore lol. 😆

Wow they have a mountain named after Mr. Lemon 👍🏻
They do 🍋🏔
I was just gonna say the same thing!
If you guys ever visit the North East namely Foxboro Mass you should check out the nicest campground we ever visited and its called Normandy Farms .
Silverware…. Use regular (metal) utensils, when ready to hit the road, fold a towel on top. It muffles the rattle. We don’t hear it at all.
Great idea!
Wooden forks, spoons and knives. I use these in my service van. They are great.
The only wood or bamboo, etc. tableware I've been able to find has practically flat spoons. Have you got a source for something that actually has a bowl like a real spoon?

That's Humphrey's Peak in Flagstaff. My. Lemon is Tucson. Still, Thank you for the video!
Silverware...I have 2 of each (in case I get company) in my drawer, and don't really hear any rattles. As a cook, I'm surprised you have plastic 🤔

WOW! Somebody invested MILLIONS! Quite the spread. Whenever we encounter consistent road noise, we just pretend it’s the ocean. 😁
What a great idea!!!
Beautiful Valentine celebration.
Thanks Barbara ❤️
Sweet rv park, funny after looking for a nice dry camp.
RIght! 😂😂😂
Wow, fancy resort. Do you carry chains. We prefer metal forks. Now we use paper plates, great for fire starting. Happy camping!
We do not carry chains 😬 We probaly should. Sounds like we just need to get some metal silverware 😂
Very nice place I’ll check it out. I head to LaMesa tomorrow for warranty work as well. Safe travels.
Good luck! Hope they fix everything you need in a timely manner 😃
Love your hats !
Thanks!
We just use spare stainless steel utensils. The only thing that rattles in our van are cans in the refrigerator.
Sounds like that's what we need to get. Thanks for sharing!

When we are in snow and cold, around 30 degrees our lithium batteries quit working! We have an idea for that though. We think. 😅
Oh no! What was your idea?
@Vancaskeys maybe we can put the batteries inside. Or. They have lithium batteries with heaters so that they will charge in below zero. Not that we want to be in below zero weather but batteries not working at 30 is a problem when we are going south in March!
I tried bamboo utensils. Kind of like them!
Never really heard my cutlery rattling , I use nice household stuff
Nice!!
A good fork is so important ,skip the plastic 😀
Good tip!
Line your drawers and just use steel cutlery I have never had any trouble
Great idea!
If you are in Sedona, I don’t believe you can see Mt. Lemon because that is East of Tucson. Did you mean Mount Humphrey?
Yes! 🙈 I was totally wrong.
Beautiful campsite but more trees around would have been the topper
Agree!
Most people escape the snow!
Hahaha! So true! When we lived in Alaska we were those people. 😅

What’s the name of the resort??
Looks like Plan C was the big winner. :)
Totally was! What a fun way to end the day!
Yeah, they’re called real household forks. If you have to wash pots/pans, what’s the big deal over a few eating utensils?
