    You know, being 5 years old and watching this, it was actually kind of creepy with that horn and the train coming. Then watch it a few times and it’s actually really cool. I think I broke my computer of how many times I replayed that. And good god I was only 2 when this came out

    The plow is made to deflect the snow far off to the side of the tracks. Just a few inches, combined with the relatively high speed of the train is enough to send it flying pretty high.
    It does hit a berm of built-up snow at the grade crossing, though - because of the highway plows that have piled it there.

    In Europe all our trains get stuck with 3 inches of snow. This is the most badass train ever.

    Sweet video its like those plows they use for the airport but on a much larger scale plus a train has more HP.

    wow, now picture, your puney little car sitting in front of that stuck, but you saw the train coming and got out way before hand. wow man i just cant get over how much power that thing has got, its all in the speed of it

    Love it. I would have gotten a little closer and not pointed the camera in the air. Great shot...Kinda reminds me of Sturgis during the off season tho this was in North Dakota. We here in Sturgis have been known to make North Dakota look like Soutern Florida in July during our freaky snow season. Jest look at Souix Falls this past week.

    our rail road didnt think it would snow much this winter and sold our train snow blower for scrap iron for the past few months they have been clearing off the tracks with bulldozers and backhoes haha its funny

    @railroad33 it was the gate broke apart even know it was wide open but it got plowed with that amount of a snow....if you listen closely you can hear it when it snaps....

    Damn, thats kinda creepy. Can't see the tracks until its too late. Its like a big monster moving across the plains clearing a path behind it.

    the only place in Kenia or Tanzania where u will find snow is in the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, and of course there are no trains going up and down the mountain.

    Wow...I never knew such beasts existed. I guess it makes sence though...the tracks do have to be plowed. Sorry...I know little about trains.
