      Easy - Supply and Demand: Either decrease the human population or increase housing. Choose one

      @@kevinting4543 There is a finite amount of land to build on, so that has a max limit, so how do you decrease the population there (legally that is.)

      ​@@pcthayer the US population birth rate is below the replacement rate. If the goal is to prevent the population from growing you would need to prevent the millions of people who come into the US every year.
      But until the US population settles out if ever, massive building projects like this could alleviate the crazy high housing prices. Considering it is designed as walkable, further saving could be had by the residents.

    No, we should weaken the NIMBYS in existing communities by building more housing instead of gobbling up agricultural lands and consuming water resources.
