Great breakdown of active listening! Love how you explained the importance of repeating word for word to truly understand. It’s so easy to jump in with our own thoughts, but this method really shows how to build trust and improve communication. Thanks for sharing your experience, especially the insight about how active listening impacts business and personal relationships!

I learned how to stop reacting and thinking what that person is saying and what they're feeling. But I had to couple active listening with a bit of emotional maturity so I don't feel "attacked" or "judged" and be able to just listen instead of quickly defend or react.

This is very insightful, because if we "think" what the person is saying, we have a harder time in comprehension. I struggled with judgment for a long time when I judged the other, and felt judged. Thanks for sharing!

I wish I had learned to listen actively much sooner in life, instead of just hearing. Do you feel the same?
