they are bad asses man, i fought fire with alot of these guys for years! My last season as a wildland fire fighter was 2020. yesterday was one of the coolest days ive had in years cause i got to spend the entire day with people ive either fought fire with or people i know through my work and all these videos. so basically i spent the entire day shooting the shit with all these guys and getting behind the scenes footage of the type of fire fighting we never get to see on the news! such a fun day!
Fantastic footage. It's really good to see that they are doing control burns to try and stop the fire from going into towns. I hope you have a great day, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️🚒👨🚒.
Backfires and burn outs are effective tools to containing a fire. These crews go to a number of classes on how to effectively use these operations to contain a fire.

I don't know why we can't save those pine trees
Why are they starting a fire when it should be containing it I don't get this at all
Backfires are started in the path of an oncoming fire, to burn up all the fuel, which will extinguish the fire.
