- This Video shows the firest 4 days and nights of the Line Fire
TheL LINE fire Started around 6 pm on thursday SEPTEMBER 29th in the city of Highland off of Baseline road. the fire quickly spread into San Bernardino National forest threatening all mountain communities on the west side ofthe mountain. Running springs was minutes being destroyed by the inferno when the fire had produces such a massive smoke column that it made its own weather and produced over an hour of heavy rain that stoped the fire within feet of destroying homes

Actually, according to CalFire, the Line Fire started on September 5th, not August 29th.

The fire didn't start in August. It started September 5th.

It's great to see y'all got the Chinook for Ariel water drop. Question: don't the rotors fan the fire? I'm retired FD and dealing with Airlifts I know the force from their single rotor was strong as all hell.
They don't get low enough to effect the fire with their rotor wash. Also, they are moving, not hovering, so it isn't as bad as a landing at a crash scene.

Y'all need to help the firemen neighbors with your water hose, buy a bunch of water hoses, attach them together and ea. Home has 3 or more water hoses and start helping, that's just an ides
