I tried what you showed about cutting the rubber tree and putting it in dirt. It worked so well. There are roots growing . Thanks so much. I was so excited.
I didn't realize how fast the raphidophora tetrasperma grows. I put a 2 foot moss pole and my 2 inch plant reached the top in a few weeks; now I am thinking I will cut it back and plant the cuttings around the base so it gets a more full look. Right now it is just one tall vine.
I’ve been watering most of my plants every time I water with Jacks (a couple plants don’t like it), and my plants have more than doubled in size in a couple months! THANK YOU!! Unless I want to spend a lot of money on soil, I only use miracle grow soil and so far my plants are doing great! I am a heavy waterer so I use mainly their cactus & succulent soil, but so far my plants are loving it! Nothing wrong with miracle grow soil!
Hi Janine, I do propagate these plants in one of my rhaphidaphora videos, but I cannot remember which one. I think you're right, it's a great idea to have a video out there where I propagate this plant! I will do that! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I subscribed because I found your video so very interesting. I’ve been wanting a mini Monstera and I finally got one and after watching your video I’m going to propagate it so I can create my little jungle.
I almost purchased a calathea today - IT WAS GORGEOUS.....and I am STILL thinking about that plant long after....UH, I just have had so much spillover trauma from calathea in the past (re: spider mites) ...I am skiddish but need to get over it already :-). I am just scorned! hahahaha!
Thanks Robert ! I didn’t think of that ! You’re probably right! Maybe my other one that I chopped isn’t doing as well because it’s roots probably aren’t as established .
Love my tetrasperma.. Leaves really got small after I brought her in from front porch at the end of summer. I added a daylight 5000K led light and leaf size really changed drastically. It is in a south west window. Maybe it needs to move to my master bath. But running out of room. LOL Mine is a tissue culture.
Hi Chris ! Thanks for the tip with the grow light ! With winter coming I might need to add some grow lights around my house as well! Thanks for your support and watching my videos!

i have watched your plant tour but did not see this giant mini monstera this big! super wow, this is my number 1 favorite plant. can u tell me what size is your pot with the stake? thanks
A lack of sunlight could be the reason why leaves on your Rhaphidophora tetrasperma plant aren’t splitting as they should. Try moving the plant into more sunlight but keep away from direct sunlight! Hopefully this will get you some splits. Thank you for watching my videos🙏🌿🪴💕
@@plantluxxe wow, thats incredibly accurate.! yes i place them in shady area tomorrow they definitely will got new hanging space. thank you very much for your reply 🙏. and yepp you got new subs, keep this good channels grow 💐🙏
Love your videos you give great information 🤠 ty for everything I'm about to post a few videos of my plants if you or anyone in the comments can give tips would greatly appreciated. I'm hooked on this plant I have about 12 of them I wish I had a big one like that. One question what's your thoughts on the varigated ones I've found about 5 varigated ones.
I have never seen a variegated one in person ! I’m sure they are stunning and I would love to have one I love variegated plants ! There isn’t a lot of places in my area that sell rare plants if you know where to find them let me know !
The immature baby versions of the plant don’t have splits at the start but they get splits as they grow older! However, most are sold with splits already !
I’m been really curious if the TC tertasperma looks different because it’s essentially an infant plant & would eventually look the same. Your massive TC seems to indicate that they will in fact look different for a long time, if not permanently.
Healthy soil and leaves. . . Thre leaves look the same more or less from an immature plant to a mature plant. I would get it at a local nursery or reputable seller online. Also, it is called minnie monstera or monstera Ginny. Does that help?
Sorry for the late reply! Under a grow light, it will be fine! I have tried it and have had great success....do you have an old fish tank? Get some sphagnum moss and plant away...they LOVE grow light plus sphagnum moss and water....they will dominate! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting 🪴💕 sorry for the late reply! Yes propagation will encourage adventitious growth! Place propagations in water or sphagnum Moss! You’ll love the results!
hi! I was wondering what I should do for my mini monstera that seems to be kind of stagnant at the moment. It was growing on a single vine probably two feet tall and i took a cutting for a friend (and of course had to cut from the main stem). ever since the plant seems to just have frozen in time. there are small white spots at other growth points that make me think there will be a new vine growing, but i’ve been patiently for over a month and still nothing :( any recommendations?
Hello! Can your plant see the sun? It might need more light. They grow super fast in Sphagnum moss…maybe change the medium? What’s your watering schedule?
@@plantluxxe hi! it was in medium indirect light, but i just moved it to a brighter window hoping I would see progress. It gets watered once a week and i’ve just started using the jacks fertilizer you recommend. hopefully I will see something as a result.
@@masonponton6166 that sounds great! Mine is in a south west facing window and grows like crazy! It’s my most prolific grower. I wait until my rhaphidophora dries out a bit before watering, I check it with my finger. When top inch is dry I water. Let me posted on your progress! Buy another one as a back up 😂😂 I can give you 50% off at plantluxxe.com if you want to try one of mine from my mother plant. They grow like weeds
@@plantluxxe haha.. It sure is I've seen so much new growth in my plants. I am doing what you said you do I am fertilizing every time I water and my plants love me because of it! They are exploding!!! Thank you!!
I received an order online and the soil smells bad. Should I go ahead and repot? At first it seemed like a cigarette smell as strange as that sounds. Spent too much on it and don't want to lose it.
Hello! I winnerIf the seller used coffee grounds or fish emulsion or egg shells? Sometimes that can make soil stink? I would delivery check the roots out and see if there is root rot because rot definitely smells gross. If the plant isn’t doing well, then I would try to very carefully remove the soil and then repot it.... however, if the plant don’t look healthy and you’re afraid you may lose it, then definitely repot! Let me know how it turns out... sorry to hear about that. thank you for watching my videos 💚🍀🪴🌿🌱🥰
@@plantluxxe Thank you for replying! Had NO luck with the company sadly. They forgot to put in the heat pack I purchased for shipping and they are not responding. Really enjoy your videos and just subscribed today.

I've never heard someone talk about tissue culture like this before!🤷
Hi Ginger, Thank you so much for watching and commenting here!
super plant...
It is an amazing plant isn’t it ! Thanks for your support and watching my videos !
I think the one from china is the tissue culture. Tissue culture tends to take texture away from the leaves.

OH wow.. My water can causes rusty water. I always rinse it out. I guess I should leave it.🤔 I never thought about that
It might be a rhaphidophora pertusa. That's the slight differences you are noticing. It's not about tissue culture.
