I own the Black Dial Deepsea 126660 and wear it daily. I had the 40mm Sub and 41mm Sub and sold them both. The Deepsea made the Subs feels like children's toys. Love the Deepsea, like a tank wearing a tuxedo, tough and classy! To each his own. Enjoy!

No question the new 126660 DSSD is the king of the Rolex Professional line. Until I actually handled one does this point become very clear. It’s the Bugatti Chiron of dive watches. The Submariner will never come close to the special appeal the DSSD has engineered in it. I finally got to add the new DSSD D-Blue (James Cameron) to my collection and it is on a completely next level from my other Rolex watches. Even my SD43 feels like a big Sub and lacks that special “x factor”. From its clasp to the crystal the DSSD is unmatched. I find it wears very comfortable and is not too thick or big for my 7 1/4” wrist. The DSSD is a legend.

I have the Deepsea 126660 and I love it! The engineering and history of the watch is what impresses me. Also, this is truly a man's watch

Great video featuring amazing watches. I'd love to see a comparison between the Submariner and the Sea-Dweller (the 43mm one) as I haven't got the chance to really build an opinion and truly differentiate the three, nor could I find a good video. Great content, keep up the good work 👍🏻👍🏻

I'm on a list too. I've got a 43mm sea dweller and it fits really well. I'm in two minds whether I really want the deepsea or not as not sure I'd actually wear it 😬

James Wylie I love the Deepsea! Bigger the better👍 I like the Anniversary Sea dweller as well but decided to go for the James Cameron Deepsea blue. I got a big wrist, so I’d rather go for the 44mm. Waiting Time should be around two months.

I'm hoping waiting time will be slightly longer for me as I need to save some money up! I have a bigger wrist too so think I'll get away with it...

20:04 For that alone the Deepsea is worth serious consideration. I always found the transition at the lugs, from the case to the narrow bracelet to be quite abrupt and disproportional.

The titanium case back on Deepsea It's not just about the weight.. the 5 grade titanium piece is for the pressure with the ring lock sistem😎

Thanks. Good review. One comment. The Deepsea is 44mm and the submariner is 40mm (wears as a 42mm). IMHO the Deepsea wears great if you have a bigger wrist. The submariner is better when you have a smaller wrist. I know because I owned the submariner but sold it for the Deepsea. I have a bigger wrist so the Deepsea is great for me. I never looked back. One aspect is in favour of the submariner and that is the height of the watch. The sub fits better under a tight cuf. So the submariner is probably better with a suit. The Deepsea has a date window and no cyclops so if you need a date and you don't like a cyclops, then the Deepsea is a good option. If you don't have a wrist for a Deepsea, you can buy an older model Sea dweller like the SD4000.

Rolex No date submarine best for your money on the market for sport watches. And it’s the first original Rolex submarine too. The date was after that. No date best for money and premium price on market 💯💯 lot more room for price 📊📈📈

Rolex may have falsified some data here, today no rolexes are used for diving, helium valves are useless as science already has proven helium is lighter and more compressible then air, it could not find its way "accidently" into your watch just because its a lighter gas.
the mixture used in compression chambers is called Heliox, mixture of Oxygen/Helium as teh chamber is slowly adjusting the pressure it is also slowly adjusting the mixture with more Oxygen and less Helium.
If Helium residue would got inside the watch somehow, it would escape also the same way naturally. But in history before modern divewatches no crystals have popped out after a decompression dive.
And in the world today, professional divers would not even wear a Rolex, Breitling, Tudor, Seiko, Omega dive watch with Helium escape valve but rather a digital one that doesnt even have an escape valve.
A Suunto dive watch for example is much more useful since it has actually (electric) lume that works longer then 5 minutes, has oxygen bottle pressure values (wireless), displays diving steps etc...
