You shouldn’t quit. If you become a teacher of karate you can train your students to fight the way you think they should. I personally would like it if the tournaments should be a bit more violent, and aggressive, but with ppe.

Why are those gloves? mas mabuti pa sanang muay thai ang laban kaysa karate walang ganda. pag karate kasi dapat bare knuckle tulad ng JKA karate kumite. yung mga babae lang may gloves.
This is not a real fight oriented aspect of karate. It can't do crap against wrestling-based type of fighting (MMA). Karate aspects like this one focuses on stand-up fighting and yet, boxing techniques and punches to the head are illegal. I got disqualified on my previous event because of clinch grappling, trips, takedowns, low kicks and knee strikes. This is awful to watch lol in this contest, attacks were very linear and easy to predict.

ただ、明らかに抜けているつきやイマイチな蹴りなどが有効になりすぎだと思う。審判のレベルや見る目が無くなっているのは許せないし、空手をやめたくなる。
言いたいことはよくわかる。自分も50歳過ぎて爺さんカテゴリーで選手しながら審判もする。さて、みんなが納得する判定をしているか？悩む。WKFの判定を不服とするならJKSなど独自の規定におさまるしかない。自分の意見は空手人口を減らさないこと、そして空手家は親日家が多い。ちなみに私はヨーロッパに住んでます。
