Arch Enemy is a great way to wake up.
Its better to go to bed and sleep
@@Hands0me_M0ney both is great. Arch Enemy 24/7
cannibal corpse
too chill
@@petelattimer2088 so true
"Are they moshing?"
It's an Arch Enemy concert, so the answer is always yes.
Or any death metal concert
@@BadEconomyOfficial DEATH METAL VICTORY
I don't know who mixed that live video, but by the Gods they need to be fired
Agree. Even listening throught the crappy tiny speakers of my pc, i still could notice that.
It's from Bloodstock Open Air, the sounds usually pretty terrible.
Looks like they phoned in that performance as well
I guess it wasn't mixed at all for home viewing, usually live sets like this are just made for the people in the audience, broadcasting it is just a bonus unless some audio technician actually work on it
@@nogodsnomasters666😂😂
A face like an Angel and a voice lake a demon, i love her ;)
I think we all love her hahaha
Alissa's clean vocals are also pretty gorgeous.
Arch Enemy is one of my favorite bands. A great band to start the day. Alissa White Gluz is an amazing singer. Check out The Eagle Flys Alone
The Eagle Fly's alone is my favorite song from Arch Enemy
You should react to Arch Enemy-Nemesis
But to the Angela version hahaha
In Tokyo, 2008. Such a great performance to watch, almost like it more than the actual music video.
You should react to Alissa's old band The Agonist. She sang in some parts in that band. ''Buisness suits and combat boots'' or ''Thank you pain'' are pretty good songs.
Let's add panophobia
Add their new stuff too. The whole Orphans with Vicky is AT LEAST as good as their Lullabies era. In Vertigo is probably revolutionary for the melodeath genre as it's borderlining with symphonic metal (because of its background operatic-ish choirs). A very epic and intense song
@@Steveharrisable Panophobia was really a masterpiece.
@@user-ii6gm4vj5b In Vertigo is amazing
@@user-ii6gm4vj5b
There isn't anything revolutionary about "In Vertigo" at all, because EPICA have been doing that since before The Agonist was a band.
I was in the pit for that show
\m/
Same!
Did u have fun?
It was awesome, I was pretty hung over so it hurt a bit 😂
The guy in black🤣
Jeff Loomis, the blonde lead guitarist is a famous bad ass in the shred world. Check out his song "Miles of machines" off his solo alum.
Guitar noodle he's wasted in AA.... I'd have preferred him in Carcass
Yes, at last, Arch Enemy!!!! Thank you sweet girl!!! What do you mean "Too early"?? At my place Arch Enemy starts at 6.00 every work morning!!! I Think I comment like 6 moth ago, you can check it, that if you ever reacted to AE I would subscribe and I'm a man of my words so consider it do!!! Now react to Arch Enemy War Eternal so you know what I wake up to!!! Love your reactions.
Check out Archspire- Human Mumuration. I wake up to Archspire every morning.
sound guy from the clip should be fired... srsly beginning guitar riff was so badly sounded, it did not even made me headbang - with AE amazing guitars I always headbang...
The camera guy too
Slaughter to prevail Demolisher.
I would love too see you react to them!
Alex's vocals are helping me getting through a pretty hard time right now.
YEEEEESSSSS finally! 🤘🤘
How strict are those house arrest rules in Lebanon?
Oh, by the way, I thought the most famous Arch Enemy song was Nemesis.
I love both the 2008 live in Tokyo version with Angela Gossow and the 2016 live at Wacken version with Alissa. Totally different performances with different growling styles, but equally epic.
Nemesis is a very overrated song. Reactors get stuck with it as their first introduction and never go back for more. Tons of way better songs ex. Burning Angel, My Apocalypse, I Will Live Again
@@Elapidae I dunno, the MP3 of Nemesis in Tokyo is the only AE song in my playlist.
Dead eyes see no future is one of my favorites.
One of my fav band, good choice to react to the live version, I ve seen them live and they are incredible
im safe rn cuz im at home and I got no work cuz 3-day break! ❤️ yaaaay which means its binging your vids time! ❤️ so yeah stay safe too as well!
anyway, what a way to start your morning, reacting to arch enemy! ahahaha and I never thought I'd see you get sooooo speechless again on the growling part! 🤣 I enjoy your video as always Rana! ❤️🌮
This was not the best song to start listening to arch enemy. Beautiful girl, I suggest you to listen Eagles flies Alone :3
Carlos Gallardo yeeeeesssss love that song
or 'Reason to Believe'
@@justicar5 oh my favouriteeeee
What about "Dead burie their dead" ?
3:30 She said "There's something inside me and I know it's good, I'm not evil, just misunderstood"
Honestly this performance is shitty mixed imo (not that great live mixes are too common)
Yeah, the vids from the Wacken show are so much better than this.
You neeeeeed to React to Metalocalypse
Listen "Thank you pain" of The Agonist. Alissa making clean vocals in thus song.
"In 3...2...1..."...and...where's the "boop"? I can't live without the "boop"!
BOOOOOOOOOP!
The singer from Arch Enemy is my new favorite Disney princess!
XD
There is nothing better than listening to ARCH ENEMY to wake UP. nice reaction 👍
i love that you reacted to this band with this coffee mug
great...you've tasted melodic metal....😁😁 her clean singing is also amazing... check her previous band n her collaboration with other bands too... stay safe... loved your reaction...
"Thank you pain" from The Agonist(her former band)... you will love it
this is one of their softest and chilliest songs, only for your information ;)
Your face said it all. You're reaction was precious!
You should try the song "Reason to Believe" by them; she mixes in clean vocals in as well and she sounds AMAZING; it's a really interesting (and surprising, if this song is your only introduction to Arch Enemy's singer) contrast of vocals and really highlights how multi-talented a singer Alissa really is.
Who needs coffee when you have Arch Enemy
I remember this gig it was so good, this is from the uk bloodstock festival, I was still pretty hung over during this 😂
15 Seconds Early Giddy Kitty!❤
I'm Staying Safe At Home From The Coronavirus!😊
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Arch Enemy new music "Handshake with Hell" have a great part of clean voice by Alissa. You'll like it!
I saw this band live twice, last time with this singer, and the first time with the previous singer, Angela Gossow. It´s a good band.
I know I'm late for this video but here's a surprise.... She's acturally an awesome clean singer as well. She had her own band before Arch Enemy called The Agonist. She both sing clean vocals and growls there. She's awesome and perhaps my biggest celebrity crush.
"Did she say there's something inside of me? I bet, I bet there is" lol
Well, since you are quarantined due to the "cough cough", it'll be cool if you reacted to more songs. I would recommend something by Steel Panther. Those guys are hilarious.
those guys are idiots
you should here her sing clean vocals!! She sounds like an angel or demon. seriously that good. 4 octave voice!!
hahahahahaha I loved your face when alissa came out singing hahaha
You should also react to Reason To Believe
Also: There's 20 minute yoga session in your metal reaction playlist, you might want to change that ;)
You need lisent Arch enemy but with Angela is totally different, more ruff
First time seeing Alissa and her impression is: "Looks like a mythical creature." 😂😂😂
I'm glad that there are not a bunch of negative comments on here, seems like your fanbase is actually pretty nice, unlike a lot of reaction channels. This stuff takes a lot of getting used to. I listen to stuff way crazier than this now, but I remember how shocked I was the first time I heard Alissa scream/growl for the first time too. It took me a couple years of liking metal to get into harsh vocals. Amon Amarth, Death, and Morbid Angel were probably the first bands I liked with harsher vocals. That was back in 8th grade or so, but now I love deathcore and death metal! So, it may take some time to appreciate it more. You didn't immediately reject it, so the progression has begun hahaha! Great video though! 🤘
Just saw an article that says the band may entertain clean vocals....but only when THEY feel the time is right and not forced by anyone.
Imagine being able to quarantine and practice social distancing. MY WORK ISN'T CLOSING. We are essential apparently. I fucking hate retail.
If you like that.check out Arch Enemy reason to believe I think it's the only song she dose with clean vocals just to prove she can do it but she still growls in it. Oh and by the way her name is Alissa White
haha i love this reactions when other music fans react to metal music :P ...you know cos metal is just epic ! \m/
Well, I have a new band on my list of favorites now.
This band got me through alot of dark times in my life an helped me get through alot of stuff dealing with my sizures
Alissa White-Gluz does have exceotional clean chords also, BUT she prefers growl, and that's why she sticks with Arch Enemy. If you'd like to hear her sing clean AND growl, you should consider listening to The Agonist (Her old band) and either song from their albums called "Prisoners", "Lullabies of a Dormant mind" and "Once only Imagined". You could also react to Kamelot and their song "Liar Liar" where she is background singer with her clean voice.
Perfect 👌!! 😁 I guess you're ready now for jinjer pisces... 😉
Please make us a video when you are discovering it... 🙏
Best regards from France.
Me still in lockdown very boring and your reaction video make me smile😃😄😊
Big song
And loved this channel
😍♥
8:16 That's what I thought a few years ago, you've got a long way to go :)
I been waiting this fking video
Would you believe their first female vocalist was a trained opera singer? HAHA I love this band, but yeah...not ideal first thing in the morning, especially if you're not used to it LOL
Angela sings opera? Where, I need to hear that
And so tne long journey to metal begins!
You better react Arch Enemy live in Japan :)
it's metal you need to crank up the volume, just as with classical music :D
4:15 The Spirit of Headbang, taking control.
In her previous bands, Alyssa made "regular" rock vocals, or operatic (Nightwish style). But in Arch Enemy, she's following the growling (fry vocals) of the previous vocalist, Angela Gossow (who's manager of the band and has solo work and colabs). Growling, without technique, blows the vocal chords, damages the larinx, but Alyssa know how to do it properly. If you like female growling vocalists check the bands X-Tintion, Blind Ivy, Walls of Jericho, Your Chance To Die, Abnormality, Frantic Amber. Cripper.
I've been home for two weeks because of the coronavirus. Here in Italy schools and universities have been closed for two months, in a while you won't even be able to go shopping food
You need to react to Jinjer- Perennial Live at Wacken! I love your reactions Giddy!
Arch Enemy is great stuff. Thanks.
Alisa ✨You must listen to Panaphobia when she was still with The Agonist
I think you will like The Eagle Flies Alone..
Anyway, the guitarist with blonde hair is Jeff Loomis. He is God.. And the black haired one is Michael Amott. He is the main composer of Arch Enemy. He is living legend, and one of the reasons I play guitar and I founded a melodic death metal band..
My favorite Arch Enemy 🥰😍😍😍😍
stronger than coffee
Alissa is a woman you really call a „power woman“ xD
If you like Alssa sing, wait until you hear the band's manager sing. In fact, let me link you her now: ruclips.net/video/xxD4Ruf68bU/видео.html
To hear Alissa normal singing voice: ruclips.net/video/_jud_SnKTlY/видео.html
And if you like bittersweet music, how about the song Bittersweet: ruclips.net/video/JAdDkFx0_6o/видео.html
ENJOY
Yeah, one of my favourite bands
Check this:
The agonist (previous band of Alyssa)
Thank you pain (videoclip)
You will hear the Alyssa clean voice an growlings
What a nice reaction😊 You habe to check out older Arch Enemy Songs with the last singer Angela. Maybe the song "Nemesis"
Btw i saw them since 2011 15 times😁🤘
GUYS PLS LINK ME THE ORIGINAL VIDEO BCS I CANT FIND IT :CC sorry for Caps, love ya
Love that band!!🤘😎
I was at that gig!
For a lighter take with some cleans, check out Reason To Believe, but I haven't found a really good concert video, so I'd suggest the official video. Amaranthe's Do Or Die feat Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy's manager and former singer) is a really beautiful mix of cleans and growls with two female singers that have very different voices.
For a couple of bands that do a bit lighter mix of cleans and growls than Jinjer, I'd suggest Spiritbox's Blessed Be and Infected Rain's Orphan Soul.
If you feel masochistic some time, check out Angela Gossow doing Nemesis live in Tokyo in 2008. Definitely not in the morning unless you need to clean stuff or something. Angela is a beast. And her abs are goals haha. Her on-stage persona is more MMA fighter or pro kickboxer than fantasy game character.
You should hear her clean voice. It’s great. Wonderful singer. So versatile.
More videos during quarantine please
I've been staying in and washing my hands as much as possible but then I decided I should protect my cat and wash him, too. Now I actually need medical attention. ;-)
Alyssa White-Gluz (The vocalist we should now all refer to as "the mythical creature") seems to be gaining popularity quickly in the metal community. I see her in more and more bands as a guest performer, so a lot of musicians must like her too. I even listened to a Babymetal song a while back called "Distortion" that Alissa did some growling on. Sometimes she even gets to sing AND growl in her guest appearances, and she is a fantastic singer when she gets the chance. Like this song from Kamelot "Liar Liar" ruclips.net/video/VDLZ6Mqy7AM/видео.html
I've heard that she does some singing in her original band The Agonist as well, but I still haven't gotten into that band much yet.
I first saw her in Orlando in 2012, touring with the band Kamelot as their harsh-vocals guest, along-side another guest singer, Elize Ryd. Later on I found out that that tour was EXTRA crazy. Kamelot was opening for Nightwish on that tour, and at the Denver show a couple of weeks before, Anette Olzon, (the lead singer of Nightwish at that time) got really sick and couldn't perform. So very last minute, Alyssa White-Gluz and Elize Ryd, volunteered to both sing lead for Nigtwish that night. Then of course, Floor Jansen flew out to sing lead for Nightwish for the rest of the tour, and has been giving RUclips reactors goosebumps ever since.
You have to react to Nightwish Gethsemane!
If u almost fainted ur not doing it right, when ur breathing u don't breathe normally, u have to use ur diafram to get the right amount of air. It also takes A LOT of practise to master growling.
Greetings from Mexico 🤘🏻🤘🏻🇲🇽
If you want to see a great transition from clean singing to growls by an amazing female singer, you should check "crucifère" by Eths
The agonist - Thank You Pain (Alissa first band, she does clean voice too in this one)
Great band! I love this Music! ;-)
Alissa White-Gluz : Queen Beast.
ARCH ENEMY AMAZING SHOCKING THE BEST BAND WORLD
just for information, the way her and Tatiana from Jinjer do that voice is controlling air in such a way that it happens, which is how they can quickly switch between normal voice and growl voice.
oh and in arch enemy songs most or all of the song is screaming.
i recommend to react to Nemesis by Arch Enemy next, it's a step up from this one, though i love this one as well.
Wooooooooo. Bloodstock Festival \o/
Jinjer pisces. believe me. She needs to know what true vocal prowess is. hands down one of the best vocalists in any genre.
I'm subscribed just for this video I love archenemy . you should to react to the agonist . song thanks your pain in live. the singer is Alyssa
i love arch enemy
I can't listen to more than one or two songs at a time from them, but I find Arch Enemy to be very good especially with the music itself, aside from the vocals. The Eagle Flies Alone and This World is Yours are my top picks though.
She is a living legend in female death metal
100% talent
She has a killer clean vocal ability. She just prefers to sing this way.
