It absolutely is... I will say that you can actually see more of the interior in life than on camera though, so it wasn't completely unnecessary this time!
All of those interior details that you think will never show are not wasted. We’ve seen them and know that they’re there. They make the building complete instead of being just four outside hollow walls. The interior details and the stories behind them give the building a soul to go with the outside shell. Very impressive job, as always.
Ahhhh you're too kind, so happy you could enjoy it, of course! Definitely think doing the completely unseen second floor would have been overkill hahaha, gotta reel it in at some point~
Dear Mech, Your are the Queen of Trash Goblins and I mean that in the best possible way. The way you up-cycle materials is inspiring. As far as your question at the end. I am a ship/vehicle person so I would enjoy watching you make ships or vehicles from whatever anime you enjoy. Another great build.
Maybe this is a weird thing to comment (I'm not parasocial, I promise) but I noticed that you seem really happy and confident in this vid. You're being less critical of yourself and just have a twinkle in your eye! Ya love to see it
Not at all, that's very nice of you to say! To be honest I'm usually pretty happy in the videos haha, but I don't really know how it comes across. I know I critique or joke about my work often, but that doesn't mean that I'm not happy with it- just noticing where improvements can be made. I think that can sometimes come across as negative, but that's not the case most of the time! Really glad to hear this one felt more positive though~
@@MechanicalFiend Of course! I hope *I'm* not coming off as critical. I always enjoy your content and you don't, by any means, seem sad or unhappy in your other vids. Have a great day!!
It's a little bit like certain kinds of fake Christmas trees I think, they assemble by layer! Pretty simple and works well! And thank you thank you, love SHINee~
This is insane! You showed some real restraint to not do the 2nd floor! The rest of the detail work looks great! You blew my mind with how simple it was to make the first chair you showed. Lol This looks like a pretty interesting anime. I may need to give this a watch
Hahaha had to stop myself, the second floor definitely would have been overkill I think! Actually that chair surprised me too, I was trying to think of how to simplify the pieces on the interior as much as possible and realized that one could all be one piece. Saved a lot of time! It's really good if you're interested, I was particularly impressed with the soundtrack of the show, they used some fantastic music~
Yesssss! Totally recommend, it is fantastic, just make sure you're in the right headspace when you watch because it really deals with a lot of heavy topics, especially in season 2!
@@MechanicalFiend Always! Your builds and videos are always something to look forward to. I've been following for longer as @5oups3yeVi3w, always love your Halloween vids, but figured I'd start a second Art YT channel . Keep it up!
For the future - a box cutter is the best non-heat way of cutting XPS foam. (Just be sure to cut in multiple passes.) Love the build. I'm not familiar with the show, but it sounds intriguing.
Yes! I have seen a lot of videos and know a box cutter would be good, but I actually don't have a box cutter that extends long enough to be able to cut through something this wide. That's why I went for the hobby saw! So glad you could enjoy regardless of knowing the show~
D., thank you for this. Today marks another cycle around the sun for me, and that usually brings back memories and such, so a video about a place where you are able to see memories from a photo seems spot on. Your work is phenomenal, as always! I hope you and yours have a great day and upcoming weekend! And yes, I will have a wonderful birthday thanks to the timing of this video.
No way! It's my mom's birthday today as well, happy birthday! Ahhh I do think being able to see back into photos would be so nice, just for nostalgia purposes, kinda like having a little video of the memories to look back on. Thank you so much for all the super kind words, really glad you could enjoy it and so happy to get it to you in time for your birthday! Hope you have the best day and weekend as well~
@@MechanicalFiend Thank you, it's been a quiet day, the kind I prefer. And happy birthday to your mom too! May her 30th birthday be as eventful and plentiful as they have in the past.
I can't say and repeat how much I enjoy discovering each of your creations. It's truly a special moment, every time I receive a notification from your channel. On the Anime side, I'm not too much of a fan, but I recently discovered, finally, a series that I love and which is probably dated, from a specialist's point of view. No matter! If some people don't know it, I'll share it anyway. It's called: Frieren, and it's a scriptwriting gem, with a brilliant narration, just like the script, whose message is really profound. In short, I love it!🙂
Ahhhhh stop, that makes me so happy to hear! So glad you can enjoy everything! Oh yes! I have heard lots of good things about Frieren, but never watched it myself. Definitely will keep it in mind for a future watch, thank you so much for sharing~
@MechanicalFiend You're welcome, really. Regarding Frieren, I thought you've already seen this show (I thought I was the very last to discover it, actually! ;o)). You really must put this on top of your list! I'm sure you'll love the story. it's about a mage elf who's been questing for years alongside a group of human adventurers. The series plot is about their relation with each other and Frieren ; as an elf being almost immortal, she sees her human friends aging and eventually dying while she's still in her prime. It's very moving and profound (there's also lighter and humorous moments tho, don't worry ;o)). I've never seen or heard about a story using this theme as its main plot, even though I've been playing cRPGs for decades. It's a unique take on the subject and treated on the elf/immortal perspective! I absolutely love this series, and it's available on Crunchyroll for free (with the ads annoyance, of course).
@@MechanicalFiend Oh, and by the way, I forgot to add that I discovered this Anime thanks to a YT channel called Rachel and Jun. That's a channel I urge you to take a look at since it's a channel dedicated to cat lovers ;o) and I know how much you love cats* (*just like me and many of your followers, I'm sure of that).
Every build seriously teaches me so much more, you really do learn with every project you do! Not at all, thank you for spending some time crafting with me~
I am so glad this reached someone that watches Link Click! Thank you so much, the building has such a cool design, it was a blast to build! Definitely a tricky style to get right because the animation style is quite distinctive~
Ahhh well thank you so much for giving it a watch, always so happy to hear you could enjoy the build! Thank you for spending some time crafting with me~
Hello yiutube friend ! Thank you for making another small masterpiece. Hope you are doing well in your part of the world, starting to get cold in Canada 🇨🇦
Of course, thank you for giving it a watch, as always! Hope you are doing well too my friend! Not getting to cold where I am yet, but some tiny glimpses of fall are starting to show themselves. Sending all the coziness to you up in Canada as it gets chilly!
Girl, I am digging the longer hair. Also, you showed that spackle who's boss. I have never seen this show, but I feel like I have visited inside of its universe now. Much love, my friend.
Ohhhhhhhh I am so sorry to report that the longer hair is already gone.... I just hate going to get a haircut lol. But thank you regardless haha! It's a really good show, I went in knowing nothing and was surprised by how good it was! Thank you thank you as always my friend, all the love back to you and we gotta skype soon 💜
You know I haven't seen Black Clover, but looking this up the hideout looks super cool! Not sure if I will make that specifically, but there is something on my list that is just slightly similar to that!
The show sounds very interesting. I'll have to watch it. I feel like I've gotten a little "in" with your lovely build and the style in the reveal. Great job!!

Wow, what a great miniature build! I'm always impressed with your skills making the tiny details. The thing about items not being seen, they are seen. It may be a corner of a piece of furniture, the green of a plant, or just something that says, an object is here. It would not look the same if you didn't add the interior details. I'm sure that you know this and you're poking a bit of fun at yourself. I always enjoy watching your videos. I will interrupt what I'm watching when I get a notice that you have posted a video.
The design is so lovely, isn't it? It was a really fun one to build! Not at all, thank you for giving it a watch and for all the super kind words! Always so happy to hear you could enjoy 💜
