    Thank you Dan! I realized that my anxiety was based in fear and anger/rage and that I'd been living in a chronic state of anxiety since about the age of 8. I found realizing I can only control the present moment, forcing myself to feel any/all related emotions, and using gratitude have been huge for me. Your videos and Facebook group have been super helpful. I was anxiety free for a few weeks, and now I only get slight twinges here and there, but it doesn't stay for very long. I know I'm in control of it and so I can make it go away within seconds of feeling it. You have been instrumental in my journey, and I'm forever grateful to you for your wisdom and knowledge you've shared and continue to share!

      Thanks for sharing your experience with Anxiety. So many people feel helpless and as you've experienced, you CAN shift your focus and thereby decrease or eliminate the anxiety. The key you pointed out is feeling your emotions and being aware of when you are in this anxious state. Love it! Thrilled I was able to help in some way.

    Dan Just found this video and it’s what I needed to hear. Ever since I hurt my back 5 years ago Fear and Anxiety 😦 is my main problem. It’s stops me from healing, sleeping and living life. It creates pain and weird sensations. I now know that meds for sleep and anxiety are not the answer. Thanks 🙏 very much. Lovely sunrise 🌅

    What I've noticed with anxiety is that there is different forms. a stressful situation can cause anxiety, anxiety that you create from making movies is another. The one that I have problems with is when anxiety is a symptom. An alarm from the body to let you know something is wrong. A physical alarm reaction. Most of the time that's what kind of anxiety/panic I get is from the body telling me there is alarm. Then I'll react to the reaction with my own anxiety ontop of that. Now I'm at a point that I live with it. I'm now used to the alarm being on. Its uncomfortable but I deal with it. There are days that it turns off. I dont even notice when that happens. Crazy

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  3 года назад +5

      The anxious feeling that is in the body first can literally be the physical sensation of the stress response and adrenaline and cortisol (stress hormones) in our bloodstream. The best response to anxiety is to breathe. Relax. Anxiety is not another new problem to solve. Many people give themselves anxiety attacks trying to get rid of anxiety.

      I recognize this so much!!
      Often nothing to do with thoughts or events.
      Sometimes does, though!
      But often, it's just a very primal and fysical symptom.
      Just a raw symptom.

    I have a history of Anxiety, one of the best video's I have seen thanks. It is definitely future based, I had been anxiety free for years til I got this back and leg pain walking and standing. Being an electrician I am on my feet most the day , every pain kicks the anxiety up then start worrying about my future. Been a year now but every day I push through it.

      Hey Martin - check out the video at this website. It tells how pain starts and how it becomes chronic. There's a self assessment you can download to tell if your pain is caused by what I teach in the video.
      PainFreeYou.com
      Check it out. You may be able to end your pain.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  4 года назад +2

      @@mplmpl7780 Stenosis is a medical term for pain that they blame on some structural abnormality. The thing is that nobody's body is perfect. We all have many abnormalities and they don't cause pain. Watch the video and do the self assessment. It's likely that your body isn't the problem.

    I shared you again. 😁 When I get afraid or anxious, I've found that repeating this phrase while breathing deeply, helps enormously. "All is well in my world" I might tack on "there is nothing to fear," depending bin the circumstance. I was stuck in a slot canyon overnight once, and those words calmed me. I was in a tricky spot, but safe in that moment, I used those words instead of thinking about what would happen IF a flash floods came. You hit the nail on the head, you usually do. Thanks.

    Dan another great video. Really hit home for me. I have been working on trying to catch or be aware of my thoughts . Not attaching is very hard , doable since I have had times of peace to prove this. Due to some heavy duty personal things going on i feel the anxiety and some old not so nice symptoms. I must say though the symptoms are not as bad and therefore this tells me I am trusting my body more. Perseverance is key and repetition. Thank you so much for all you do you are truly an unselfish person that genuinely wants to help others.

    My experience with anxiety is, it feeds on irrational thoughts and irrational reactions. I get angry on the inside with it (fight) then complete mind shift (flight) . These are the two reactions that anxiety expects and obeys to, for me. The sooner I catch it , the faster it subsidies. No nice and soft approach for me regarding anxiety. When I sit feeling it , it feeds and ripens from my attention and takes ages to go. "Nip it in the bud " for this one !

    Just watched this and luved it. I hope I can really do it to heal. But I feel like my case is so complex I developed anxiety 6 years ago when dr said my bp high. Since then I became so obsessed with that causing me to have severe anxiety daily, like tremors and palpitations and fear of going to the dr to check it out. . So on the one hand I probably have these physical symptoms due to anxiety but on the other hand the symptoms are causing me anxiety thinking something’s wrong but I can’t check it out so the anxiety just grows daily. Do you think there’s hope for me? Thanks
