@@wildforthecats661 Hope not! Manuals are everywhere in Ireland and was awesome to see, so Mazda has it engineered and available to bring here and in the future. After experiencing several automatics myself along with other family members/friends that have failed pre-maturely across several makes (Honda/Ford/Subaru/Chrysler) in which have failed (all under 100k miles) and NO manual transmission failures over the years, for me, I won't choose auto as long as I can by voting with my wallet. I daily drive a manual Mazda6 Touring that has given me the right mix of driving fun, reliability and gas mileage.
So this engine gets better mpg but isn't as powerful as the SA G engine. Will Americans flock to it? Im not so sure. Not unless they can get the HP and torque #s to surpass the SA G engine
So in this car it gets 29-47 mpg. Thats good but unless they add a turbo to it I don't know that it'll move the needle. Maybe a little 38 mpg in combination driving...not revolutionary but it makes a difference. I mean 38 mpg in an SUV is outstanding. They wont be able to put it in the CX5 though. It will be underpowered. If they could make it a 2.5 L and get 200 hp and maybe 180 lb/ft of torque or more out of it then they could do it for the base models. That would give it an edge over almost every other SUVs base models for sure. 200 HP at almost 40 mpg? That has to be pretty rare.
Thanks for the videos Josip all the information was clear and concise and best of all NO annoying background music, thanks. Just one thing though, you never mentioned the auto parking brake, I love them. I tried a SE-L LUX, manual model with the SkyActiv-G engine but it was a bit flat for me and needed working quite hard to realise any performance. I also tried a Sport Lux Auto which was much, much better but a slightly harder ride perhaps due to the 18" wheels. So I have ordered a SE-L LUX Model, Manual, in Soul Red Crystal with the SkyAktiv-X engine, for delivery 1st of March, can't wait.
Phil Fastmike honestly both automatic and manual are good in Mazda. But manual is cheaper and especially good in Mazda if that’s your taste go for it. yes 4WD is safer and more stable on road, but it will reflect on fuel economy. And it doesn’t compensate in winter for grip. You still need winter tires. Many Americans mistake thinking AWD is enough for snow and ice. It’s not!
What a beautiful car with the Soul Red Crystal paint. The black interior match very well with the red paint. Hopefully I would be a proud Mazda owner in the near future but this engine might not come ever to my country.👌 👌
Imam taj motor u svojoj trojci.

What I meant, suspension is soft and comfortable, but with this wheel size there is not much tire to suck in the bumps. Some potholes and speed bumps you feel a bit hard but then much less than on my 5 year old Škoda Octavia 3 with same wheel size.
Just bought one last week for my wife, and no...manual was not available. The auto does have a manual mode with paddle shifters though...not as good as a true stick, but does give some flexibility. Sport mode also allows the auto to delay shifts until higher in the rev range.
This engine appears to be just awful. Anemic, thirsty and noisy. On the highway is was very audible pretty much all the time whish was tiring even from watching the video.
The blue leather is such a genious design touch!
@Quinn Santana why r you everywhere
Thanks for making us jealous here in the US :). Come on Mazda, this is what we (I) want - SkyActive-X with a manual in the CX-30!
Pesky Americans! You deserve only premium automatic transmission and 2.5L Turbocharged gasoline engine! 😂
Manuals will be non existent in the near future.

Nice one! What do you think about 2WD vs 4WD? Is the CX30 4WD safer on the road? Also, how do you rate the AT vs the MT on the CX30? Thanks

Literally every vehicle that i would like to choose to own is in Europe with an manual transmission 😭
why would someone choose a manual transmission?
Why the HUD disappear quickly in 3'50 ?
Tim Tim camera angle probably changing as I move my head.
Josip, what can you say about suspension? Is it good for bad roads? Firm of soft?
il Duce considering 18 wheels, it’s ok, more on firm side. I wouldn’t recommend it for really bad roads. Go with 16 inch instead in that case.

Tigerex966 not really sure honestly, my guess is probably no... you can just check US Mazda configurator...
