This is part three of a three part mini-series aimed to help support families through a lymphoma diagnosis.
This webinar was presented by Elena Schiena, Parent Support Worker.
Elena Schiena has been a Clinical Social Worker at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) for the past 16 years, with previous service provision in Out of Home Care and Family services. Elena has a keen interest in working with families dealing with a cancer diagnosis to support and strengthen positive parent-child relationships during times of need and minimise adverse outcomes for children. She has conducted needs assessment research into the needs of parents with cancer, the outcomes of which have been published. Elena is a senior clinician in the parent support program at Peter Mac, supporting families experiencing parental cancer.
