@@daily_driven Getting tint this weekend! Other than that, will prob stay stock for a bit, but lots of plans, I want to lower, tune, exhaust, some body mods and such, can't wait to get the mods rolling!
Dude amazing look and handling, what about the Matrix LED, did you re adjusted the headlight and how to adjust using OBD11 or VCDS, i need the procedures...
Hey , nice job on the install. Not sure I advised you that I finally dropped my Stang, but I had my shop do the install. Not sure if you have to check your alignment ? I did on mine, well keep up the mods , I am a fan of the upgrading. Take it easy
Loving your mk8 build so far dude! Awesome detailed full install with the APR springs! Curious, so far since the install, did you feel a DCC adaptation is necessary? Ride quality similar but just stiffer than stock?
I am surprised you didn't install a rear sway bar as well. I have heard good things about it tightening up the body roll. That is one of my things to purchase later on for sure. Just actually got the MST CAI and turbo inlet elbow in and am excited to see how it sounds. Car is looking good. I am excited to see what wheels and tires you decided to go with.
@daily_driven it was the easiest CAI I have ever installed lol. The quality is very nice and I can hear the whoosh noises with the windows up but not as much obviously with the windows down. I feel like the throttle response is a little more snappy than before. I am overall pleased.
I was actually going to do this myself, however the 6 bolts on the drivers side axle were not visible. I think there this a ring covering them. So figured it would be easier to just take the axle bolt out.
@daily_driven Awesome, I just bought the same GTI last week, and started looking for lowering options and found your channel. I don't know if I should go with 18's or 19's after lowering it a little.
Best thing to do on those stretch bolts, especially the axle nut, is mark it with a sharpie or something and use a good impact. Mark it at 3 and take it to 9, a lot easier. I have a mk7 with the same springs. Nice work bro.
Thanks man! Yeah I ended up doing that with the axle bolt, marked it with a sharpie and tried to get it as close to the 180* needed. Unfortunately only got to about 90*. Crossing my fingers that’s good enough lol 😂
Hey thanks man! So I bought some new hardware lol. Mainly just the high torque stuff, axle bolts, sway bar nuts and the bolts that secure the strut to the knuckle. 👍 next time I’ll probably replace all hardware ha
Hey! It’s actually really good. I didn’t notice much difference from stock aside from being a bit stiffer and much flatter in turns on the stock 18s! So far so good!
why only springs? I drive Bilstein DCC coilovers (my GTI has DCC) on my mk8 GTI Clubsport, that makes a huge difference and improvement vs stock shocks
Dude I finally joined you. Picked up my 24 Autobahn on Saturday in Moonstone gray! So in love, this car is incredible.
Eyyy that’s awesome!! Congrats!! Enjoy the ride man! 🙂👍 Any mod plans or keeping it stock for a while?

Moonstone gang rise up

Oh cool! Did you get lowering springs? How do you like it? And thanks! New wheels going on next video 🙂
@@daily_driven Man !!!!! its amazing, I did keep the pp1 wheels and went with 25mm spacers.
Thats Awesome!! I do really like the PP1 wheels so good choice with the spacers! 👍

Love the vids man! picking up mine next week! what wheels did you get? still running 18s?
Thanks man! Appreciate it! Awesome congrats! New video coming out on the wheels tomorrow 👍🙂

Oh yeah it’s definitely on the list! Awesome man! How are you liking the MST? Also thanks! New video coming out tomorrow on the wheels!

I've seen other people remove the 6 bolts for the axle at the transmission flange and not have to mess with the axle bolt. Your thoughts?
I was actually going to do this myself, however the 6 bolts on the drivers side axle were not visible. I think there this a ring covering them. So figured it would be easier to just take the axle bolt out.
Don't you need to get a camber kit to ajust the camber after lowering the car?
Not with this kit. These springs only lower the car about an inch. But if I go any lower I would definitely want to use some sort of camber kit 👍
@daily_driven Awesome, I just bought the same GTI last week, and started looking for lowering options and found your channel. I don't know if I should go with 18's or 19's after lowering it a little.
Which springs exactly did you get? I might end up buying the same.

Hey man, nice work! Can i ask you if you used all new bolts and nuts for the ones with torque specs and x degree turn? Keep up the good work😁👌🏻

I have a moonstone 22 gti. Apr springs and neuspeed rear sway going on next week.
Nice man! I definitely want to get a rear sway at some point here as well
hey gti brother , how is the ride on the apr springs with stock shocks?
Hey! It’s actually really good. I didn’t notice much difference from stock aside from being a bit stiffer and much flatter in turns on the stock 18s! So far so good!
Better than before. 18s some ultra low profile stock tires. You going to custom 17s?
I’ll have more in this in the next video 🙂 Don’t want to spoil it just yet ha! 👍
why only springs? I drive Bilstein DCC coilovers (my GTI has DCC) on my mk8 GTI Clubsport, that makes a huge difference and improvement vs stock shocks
I choose springs for now since the car only has like 2500 miles on it but I’ll definitely be doing shocks or coil overs at some point 👍
letsss gooooooo
Looks great be careful vw gti known for poor suspension durability
Thanks! Hopefully the stock shocks hold on for a little while here 👍
Ayyee ❤
