Divorcing a Narcissist currently and its already a nightmare, hes refused discovery for more than 5 months already. Although my state is a no fault divorce state, hes hiding the fact hes been shacked up with his affair partner since May, hes had his address at his moms. Im sure the judge won't be impressed when we appear and he hasn't revealed anything, no assets

My son-in-law might have all the tax returns, because he was a POA for a few years. My husband used his entire 401K up very quickly. Don't have any way to know what he did with any money. He wouldn't even let me pay the bills. I heard he went bankrupt without me. My son-in-law might have all kinds of info, but he is a narc & he knows it. He with a made up lies made me move. I know too much about him. He did a second mortgage on a house, again without me. My son-in-law & I are not talking. He stole from us & he was POA for about 4 years. The bank caught him stealing & ended the POA. We never had professionals, unless he did & didn't tell me. Once again, our son-in-law did our tax returns. I do not have money to hire anyone. Been robbed for 4 years.

I have a husband who is a networking engineer been married for almost 30 years and he hasA lan network on the internet .and codes. he works all the time yet we have no money I know he has control over my phone and what i see on the internet . i get redirects and bronken links he is a independant consultant makes a high hourly wage works from home and i believe is hiding assets. we never have moneyI know this sounds crazy I feel so controlled im afraid to talk to any one , he becomes abusive when i ask about finances, i feel my rights are being taken from me . who should i contact? He changed my date of separation from when I filed for divorce, back to the date I HIRED a lawyer claiming intent. Even though I had no idea if I would go through with it until the day I filed. The net effect was HE gets more of his pension even though we filed a jont tax return that year ((I filed in January).

We file jointly every year, however since I’m no longer working and my souse has income properties as well as a office away from home. I have no access to knowing what he is doing. He also insist that I give him my w2 form but makes excuses when I ask to see the taxes. I know he’s hiding something but how can I find out for sure. All he’s mail goes to his office which I have no key to.

You have to get his tax returns or IRS transcript. You can run a corporate status search in NJ to see if he controls any companies (shell or otherwise). Also, there are ways to run property and asset searches with private investigators.

I have never asked my husband how much money he makes, he always tells me there’s not enough money to buy groceries or for me to buy things I need like personal hygiene stuff then I see boxes come in from Amazon, Express, etc..and I recently found a check stub where it shows he made 80K in 6 months!!! I am so upset Brad..he’s been financially abusive, he’s been emotionally and physically abusive in the past and I have had enough. We own a home, I am afraid I’ll end up homeless if we file for divorce. I haven’t been able to work due to a physical disability for 9 years he’s been supporting me, would he be required to do spousal support? Could I keep the home and have him pay for it? We do rent out our back home so we get help paying the mortgage. I had no idea he was a narcissist nor what it was until recently. I don’t feel safe anymore but I have nowhere to go, I have no money no accounts because he doesn’t give me $. Help 😔

It’s hard to answer questions about support without a full picture but it sounds like you will get support if you’re disabled, he has modest or better income and he’s been support you for years. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck!

No offense but did u ever wonder if his abuse is the reason for your health issues? Only bc this was the case for me. I suffered for 13yrs with chronic pain and it miraculously disappeared after leaving and healing emotionally. Hope this helps in some way 🙏

I’m married to a CPA Narcissist who has his own CPA corporation, does his own taxes and finding where his money is hidden, is not covered by this video. This video only talks about open avail documents and assets. Hey that’s easy. Getting copies of anything in his corporation is off limits as doors are locked and he put passcodes on everything.
This video is for the basic simple employee who has no corporation. Good for that, not what I was looking for.

I just watched one about a guy who is a attorney, you can take photos of his cars, everything and hire a lawyer, a accountant even a investigator to go through their garbage but the accountant stays out of it and you just give him the information, also one specialized in fraud with alot of experince not a new accountant.
the sooner the better it could be easier to hide home 5 years down the road.

There are always ways to seek enforcement. The problem is most don’t try creative measures to force the response. Instead, they look for a traditional sanctions in legal fees which are not successful.

What happens if husband has taken everything sold it and just spent all the cash and now showing no job and no income when he use to make 6 figure income but due to covid was laid off. How is the marital estate reconstituted ?

That's a broad question without much information. In New Jersey, we would input income for support purposes and, possibly, seek a judgment for the equitable share of the assets that were dissipated. However, this type of fact pattern suggests a deadbeat that you will have to chase for anything the court orders, FYI. I hope this helps. Don't forget to subscribe. I want to let you know my Narcissistic husband got a PO BOX and send all the family mail there. I had to do a changed address back to our home address. Then I learned that my narcissistic husband was trying to gain accessmy information and narcissistic husband all ready put me in medical debt. Now no mail come to house. I'm keeping a sharp eye on our checking account and savings. This narcissistic person in my life is sneaky and devious.

Most attorneys don't understand what the depths of narcissus go to to deceive. You have to show them through the narcs conversations and texts, of stonewalling you and of any bank statements xcetera showing their devious behavior. Document everything, and secretly record them

Sorry for my delay but I don’t check my comments often. You can still ask for your fair share. Family Court is a court of equity or fairness. If he committed a crime, you should still be entitled to recover from him possibly from another asset.

My narcissist common law partner makes a wage that should put us in the category of having an above average household income, yet we live like we're on welfare in many respects. I am taking into account that gas and inflation is at an all time high but even before then, there was always an excuse why we couldn't put grass on the lawn, or go out on a date night. Other than going to the drive thru, we haven't gone on a date in five years! 13 years together, never went on a vacation, never went to a concert, never went to a movie, even that is too expensive. I don't expect him to spend money on me but this is a man who has money to blow thousands on lingerie, clothes and cell phone for his daughter? Their relationship has always weirded me out.
I'm not sure if he has a secret addiction or has his money hidden away and is lying. Whatever the case, I think if I do leave it will end badly for me.
