Sad truth. No one wins in child custody. In my case, the reason the mount is high is because the payee ignored submitting any financial documentation. Here and now, doesn't even pay what they can afford, as if raising a child on my own doesn't cost me anything 😕 Just help. And speak healthy words to the child. Stop the hate.

Thank you! This a simple and short but it gave me some good insight. My default hearing is tomorrow with my wife. She has been the one who's wanted this, I've been hopefully and leaving it in the Lord's hands for these last long 9 months. I haven't heard from the court personnel who's responsible for any questions in the last 2 days, left 2 voice-mails and I'll try again tomorrow morning before the hearing. I also sent an email about 2 weeks ago to another person within the court system, who i never heard from either... I've been pretty much in the dark with regards to this, this is my first and hopefully only divorce. Had not sought consultation, though i nearly did 2 months ago. We've been doing everything ourselves, mainly my wife, filing on our own, but she stated that the courts response to our filing was odd, because neither of us were fighting. They stated that usually there's one party fighting the other. Our situation is "unusual", but I'm grateful as this is what i was hoping and praying for if it got to this point, that it would be AS FAIR AS POSSIBLE for BOTH of us. Thank God we do not have any children, as I cannot imagine how difficult it would have been. I put my trust in God fully regardless of what happens. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
