Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 57 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive 10 year back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and bad-ass musicians to boot. And yeah, MISA is their 'lead bassist', also known as the "Barefoot Assassin". As you are a drummer I recommend "Freedom" live MV for a your next track. One, because this band shine's live, second it highly features Akane on drums. Best wishes from Staffordshire (and I'm off to Japan next week just to see these wonderful ladies for four live shows).
I'm so envious, I tried to get tickets for the show in Otaru but failed to get through the software barriers, even tho' I'm in the fan club it just wouldn't let me in. Any tips?
Best hard rock band in the world. The more you check them out the more you'll like them. Domination live is a logical next step but they can and do kick every genre's ass. Stay with them.
The normal starting point for new BAND-MAID initiates is 'Domination' LIVE. However, since you're a drummer, you'd probably like to se the song that has Akane's one and only full drum solo. That would be 'Freedom' LIVE. I think you'll enjoy it.
Welcome to the fandom! Best rock band in the world right now! I suggest these Band Maid songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners, Blooming, No God (live) & Puzzle (live)

Double-feature Manners / Black Hole official live hits two pretty different spots on the BM spectrum and both are beautifully bass heavy. Start with beautiful bluesy rock and finish with a 220bpm intricate banger.
Yeah Kanami, their lead guitarist, who is generally responsible for the beginnings of things has great trust with both her bassist and drummer and loves to leave them space to do their thing. Check out the live version of "Domination" on their channel.
Personally, my favorite drumming is in their song No God, live version available (2 of them). My #1 fave B-M song is Different. Again, wicked drumming. Thanks for this reaction!

Band-Maid has been my favorite for many years now, they have soooo many awesome songs it is just crazy. I'm sure there will be plenty of suggestions from others... lots of live ones out there. Maybe the Dice & Hate? live from recent Lallapaloosa. Thanks for the reaction.
Change the world by NEMOPHILA has a little bass solo and ofcourse some good drumming. My favourite BAND-MAID song specifically for drumming is Blooming.
Band-Maid has amazed their fans for at least the past eight years since their "Thrill" video went viral on an American J-rock Facebook page. "Shambles" is their latest released song and is a closing theme for the anime 'Kengan Ashura'. They are incredibly consistent with their output: every song is original, catchy to the point of being a mindworm, and always performed with an astounding level of musicianship that elevates the song above the solo of any particular member of the band. With that said, the Maids seem to take joy in giving every member of the band their time to shine during their concerts. An excellent example of this is the current RUclips posting of "Dice - HATE?" at Lollapalooza 2023. "Dice" and "HATE?" are both Band-Maid compositions but Miku Kobato (R. Guitar/vocal) wrote the lyrics for "Dice" and Saiki Atsumi (L. Vocal) wrote the lyrics for "HATE?". Bassist Misa and lead guitar Kanami Tono engage in an energetic Bass-guitar solo duel while Akane Hirose solos on the drums all the way. Throughout the performance they're all grinning ear to ear excitement. (They weren't expecting to be invited to play Lollapalooza and they were overjoyed to accept) This is one for the history books. Another great live performance is "Puzzle -Live at Tokyo Garden Theater" - It's from their big January, 2023 "Tenth Anniversary Tour" announcement concert. They pulled out all the stops on this one.
100+ tracks by this group... havent heard a bad one yet. Band-Maid is reactor kibble and they bring the legion. There are some real jewels that few reactors have yet to find. I'd recommend Flying High or Hibana ... there arent official MV's for them yet but the style, composition and sheer elegance of the studio tracks proves rock never died... it just waited for Band-Maid to cut loose... :)
@@joelyjamz Most of their music is on their channel on RUclips. There is a tab or heading "RELEASES" that has all their albums and singles as playlists. "Flying High" is track 12 in the "Conqueror" album playlist, and "Hibana" (火花) is track 2 on the "Sense" single playlist. There's no video, just the album art and the music. What's missing is their very first EP and bonus tracks from special editions of their albums. Like "Youth." Pity. It's my favorite.
Fun facts about Akane the drummer. Her nickname is “gorilla”. Will eat a banana in one bite on stage. Inspired by the female drummer, Nao, from Maximum the Hormone.
Always enjoy listening to musicians, especially drummers, react to Band-Maid. They always immediately recognize this band's talent and their respect for them just grows as they delve into their many other great songs. Enjoy the journey! Cheers.
Some of the songs in their previous album the unseen world are more chaotic and complicated but after that they tuned down a bit, I remember the bassist mentioned in one of the interviews that she tries to makes the song more melodic and sound better with less busy bass lines, something like that.
I have 152 favorite Band-Maid songs. 🕊️Po! But you should check out their live AT LollaPaloosa if Dice & Hate? Next. Also, since you're a drummer, Freedom OLV
Welcome to Band Maid, they have been my favorite rock band on the planet since I discovered them 18 months ago. They are fantastic live and I’d recommend that you check out something live next. They’ve been around a decade now, so you have a lot of songs to choose from, but my favorite suggestion these days is from Lollapalooza this year; “Dice & Hate?” It’s two songs that they bridge together with some nice drumming that I think shows off the band. The audio is pretty solid (it was officially streamed to Hulu) but the camera work isn’t great at times. ruclips.net/video/a6gvg9Xg4Ao/видео.html
Thank you for your reaction. If you really want to see BAND-MAID in action react to Lollapalloza 2023 live video performance of DICE/HATE?. It will be much worth it, Joely.
The only Band-Maid songs that have a drum solo are the live versions of Domination and Freedom. But I think Corillium, No God, Dice and Warning have good drumming. Right now the video to see is Hate live from Lollapalooza this year where the band practically set the stage on fire and blew everyone away.
@@joelyjamz Manners/Black hole is quite special. Two songs, Manners is classic rock/very groovy Black Hole is 220bpm mahem. It shows their diversity. Live but livestreamed for fans during covid so no audience. But still epic.
Praising the bass player will always please us fans -- called Maidiacs. Misa the bass player is indeed outstanding. She composes her own part, after the lead guitarist -- the band's chief composer -- gives her a draft of a new song. So does the drummer, another great musician. The bassist, drummer, and lead guitarist have all been playing instruments since they were children. They are very talented, and their talents complement each other so well. The bassist and drummer were good friends before they joined this band -- it gives them a strong musical bond too. They are a fantastic rhythm section. Some other great Band-Maid songs -- or pieces -- are "From Now On" (instrumental), "Blooming", and an old one -- "Freedom" (official live video). Freedom is a lighter happier song ... but it has the best drum solo by Akane, the drummer (pronounced A Car Nay) -- when you see her raise the drumstick up high, it's on! Also the band has great camaraderie. In Freedom, they gather around the drummer at one point and pull faces at her (she gets lonely up the back) and she pulls faces back without missing a beat. She is such a happy drummer, she clearly loves playing. She has the biggest grin ever while playing her solo. Let me also toss you in the deep end and recommend "Manners/Black Hole" -- a video of two songs. Manners is funky with lots of bass. Black Hole is their fastest, most chaotic song with 220 bpm -- Akane had to practice to get up to that speed -- the lead guitarist deliberately wrote it faster than the drummer's top speed in order to push her along ... and she rose to the challenge. She says she wrote five different versions of the drum part from easiest to most difficult (she called it "Hell") Naturally her band members chose "Hell" for her to play. So she practised and nailed it.
Maidiacs Incoming 🎉 Congratulations on winning the rock and roll lottery. Your prize? 5 Magical Maids, 127 song, 10 year back catalog of music. The most important artists to hit the hard rock space in a generation. I’m an old blues rock guitarist/bassist/vocalist, which means I don’t know which end of a drumstick is better. So, I can’t tell you exactly why Akane Hirose is in the top 50 or so drummers of all time. But she is. Where to go next? The same first song I suggest to every musician I know: “From Now On,” their heavy metal instrumental. Let that set the stage for their live performances. You have no idea what you’re in for, my friend 🤘🏽
MISA (all caps, no last name😁) the bass player is off the charts amazing! To see it watch the 2 song video of Dice and Hate? from this year's lollapalooza. I was there and still can't believe what I saw.
Best Prog Hard Rock Band on the Planet! Old School with a modern twist ... I should know, I was there back in the day. New Home of Rock/Metal is Japan and has been for quite some .... time. 😁The Best Bass Player performing this Century perhaps ... apart F-Chopper Koga, maybe? Another Pidgeon/Rabbit hole?😇
Since you're a drummer I have to recommend the live version of FREEDOM found on their official youtube channel. IDK enough about drumming to comment on what she does in that performance, but the way she does it, I have to imagine watching it would bring pure joy to any drummer's face.
I will just never get tired of watching musicians discover this band for the first time. Great reaction, don't be afraid to go deep on explaining why you're blown away, we love reactors that add musical context to our favorite band.
Welcome to the world of Band-Maid, this "Pigeon Hole" is deep my friend.........only 130+ more songs to go! !0yrs together as a band and they just keep getting better. Pick a song, any song it just doesn't matter. I envy any Band-Maid fan that has a favorite song...
Amid all the comments and suggestions, I would add two bands to your discover section: Gacharic Spin and Lovebites - get any recent video and It will do a good introduction.
My recommendations are: 'Unleash' (nice video), "After Life", 'The non-fiction days'. Also their instruments 'Onset'', 'From now on' and 'Without holding back'. Be careful, Band -Maid poses the risk to get addicted. 🙂Another Japanese band I would also recommend is Hanabie. Those girls look cuter but rock much harder.
Joely , Welcome to BAND-MAID enjoy your journey down the Pigeon hole , MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin , Shambles is the closing song for Anime Kengan Ashura its an Anime about fighters , next song Domination , official live video .
Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Joely!

Well Joely Jamz If you are a drummer than Freedom live is probably your next song by the beautiful ladies of Band-maid.. However, they have over 100 tracks and they don't have a bad one so anything, will be awsome.. "Bands from That side of the world, baby metal and now Band-maid"?? Lol.. You have a very long way to go.. Here are a few more for you. If you Dare? Lovebites - Holy war live Nemophila - Sorai sorai Hagane - Super villan Trident - Ambivilant Gacharic spin - Timashi live ( twin drummers) crazy good Aldious - dominator live Enjoy, I fear you will never be the same again... Best wishes from France
This band is amazing...apparently all Japanese female rock bands are. I have a playlist with close to twenty bands from Japan. I don't think I can think of 20 good bands frim the rest of the world at the moment. I really need to learn how to speak Japanese... Anywho....Domination live is usually a good place to start for most reactors. Well, second watch for you if that's where you go next.
Davey-Boyd said it all. Unfortunately, the only difference is that I'm not able to go to Japan to see these fantastic ladies. There is so much in their music for a drummer to appreciate. Akane made me put down my guitar and take up drumming two and a half years ago and I've never been so happy with my music.
Awesome reaction! Although I am slightly late to the party, I am sure that you have been informed that you have just stumbled upon a phenomenal force of nature. The sheer musicianship of all these ladies will astound you... but yes, MISA. Enjoy the journey, my friend. Thank you for the reaction. 🔥🖤
Since your channel as drummer in it. Freedom. Drum solo. Bass? Miso. Live concert version of Play. Manners & Black Hole is double from an online concert. Hold On is an instrumental tour de force. Other JRock ladies. Lovebirds. Holy War from 2020 festival. Nemophilia. I'm not great with links. Welcome to the rabbithole of Bandmaid. Cheers.
Welcome! Lista of suggestions below. From now on Onset live Domination live Blooming Different Sense Choose me I stop here for now to overload with awesomeness
Most Madiacs will tell you their favorite Band-Maid song is the last one they listened to. You should definitely do their live videos. There's 2 doubles you can do. The Dice/Hate? from Lolapolooza 2023 is a good one. Dice is a great showcase for the bassist Misa and Hate? has a cool bass vs guitar back and forth. The other double is Manners/Black Hole. It's a great combo because it shows just how diverse their sound is. I won't spoil it any more than that.
Like i'm sure everyone is saying, you got to see them live to really enjoy this band. Lollapalooza 2023 Hate is just the lastest jem that has a bass / guitar duel backed by Arkane's excellent drumming.
Thanks for reacting to the greatest hard rock band in the world! Asking Maidiacs for their favorite song is going to get a lot of replies of "all of them" or "pick any". I can't give a definitive answer either but some of my favorites are Puzzle, YOLO, Don't You Tell Me, Secret My Lips, Real Existence, Daydreaming, Glory, Alone, Without Holding Back and others. I'd suggest checking out some official live videos like Domination or Freedom next.
Band Maid is amazing usually Domination is the go to song and since you have done both Baby Metal and Band Maid you have to check out Lovebites (Hammer of Wrath Live is a must). Both Band Maid and Lovebites are my all time favorite J Metal bands 🤘🤘
Evry Band-Maid video would be a good choice for your next Band-Maid reaction. Especially their live ones. They range from good to great to epic on everything the play. You might also want to check out Aldious, Lovebites, Mary's Blood, and Nemophila. The Japanese all female rock and heavy metal rabbit hole is a deep one, and there is much talent to see and hear.
Buckle up Buddy. The maid outfits are battle gear! You like Rock? Punk? Pop? maybe a little jazz or prog? Yeah, we got them all right here. often in the same song.
Bro, check another all Japanese female Metal/Rock Bands... all the Japanese female Bands drummers are crazy drummers, HARUNA(Lovebites), AKANE(Band-Maid), JUNNA/NAGISA(Trident-Japan), SAE/CHIKA(Hanabie), HANA/YURI(Gacharic Spin), TAMU(Nemophila) LOVEBITES live songs Judgement Day, The Hammer Of Wrath, Liar, Nameless Warrior, Raise Some Hell, Break The Wall, Set The Wprld On Fire, Holy War, and cover song Pain Killer(Judas Priest).. NEMOPHILA songs Rise, Revive, Seize The Fate, Dissension, Raitei, cover songs WALK(Pantera), Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Linkin Park, KISS, AC/DC, Skid Row, Nickelback... HANABIE songs We Love Sweets, Be The GAL, Pardon Me, NEET GAME... GACHARIC SPIN song Mindset... TRIDENT-JAPAN songs Voltage, No Regret... Watch JUNNA drum cover Pain Killer(Judas Priest), Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Dragonforce songs...
The Maids in video are good.. the Maids Live are freaking awesome.... the best live band going hands down... with that in mind .. pick pretty much any Live video and go for it .. Puzzle, No God, Manners/Black Hole, Warning, Domination... Throw a dart and pick one... you cant go wrong ....
Joely, now that you have gone down the path - enjoy. Band-Maid has a large discography, and an alter ego, but as for your next thing to listen to I’d suggest Manners / Black Hole. - Live (no audience due to C19 but outstanding). Thanks for the reaction.
Hey boss! Just watched your Freedom reaction and loved it, so i will be binging your Maid reactions😂😂. I have bit two small requests. Please react to their song You. Its only an audio track but its a fantastic underrated gem. Also, check out a band called The Warning. They are a three piece band of sisters Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal and they ROCK. I recommend their song Disciple live at Teatro Metropolitan 🤘🤘 subbed!
No fav songs...easy. All of them are. Pick any song and try to listen them live official or fan cam. Unbelievable is a weak adjective for these girls. Once in lifetime rock band.
Hey Joely, sorry do late but Vegas doesn't sleep. All 5 Maids are way above what you would expect. And after 10 years and 120+ song catalog expect nothing less. Check out their latest instrumental FROM NOW ON and the Maids will be in your heart forever. Peace. 2.98
Hello....... if you liked that bass....check out PLAY Live version and MANNERS Live version.....these will blow your mind and get you chanting with all of us.....MISA. MISA. MISA !!!!!!! Our Barefoot Assassin !!!!!!!!!
Best band this short century and I don’t think anyone is going to catch them. If you want to see what they are capable of live, I highly suggest Domination LIVE official, or lookup Band-Maid Hate live Lollapalooza or Band-Maid Moratorium Live Zepp Tokyo.
His Holiness TinyHat-san welcomes you to the Unseen World that leads to World Domination. They are even better live; in fact, the best live rock band on the planet...maybe ever.
Congratulations Joely, you've just discovered the greatest rock band since The Beatles. Kudos from Brazil.
😂😂😂😂😂 quite a statement.
Thanks for watching 🙌🙌

I'd recommend Flying High or Hibana ... there arent official MV's for them yet but the style, composition and sheer elegance of the studio tracks proves rock never died... it just waited for Band-Maid to cut loose... :)
Can’t wait to get stuck in this 🙌
@@joelyjamz Most of their music is on their channel on RUclips.
Ahhh thanks for the little fact 🙌🙌
Welcome to Band-Maid. I will be here for your Band-Maid journey. Don't be surprised if your views and subs suddenly increase... lol.
Thank you so much!! 🙌🙌🙌
Always enjoy listening to musicians, especially drummers, react to Band-Maid. They always immediately recognize this band's talent and their respect for them just grows as they delve into their many other great songs. Enjoy the journey! Cheers.
Can’t wait to get stuck in 🙌
If you like it heavy, check out "Rinne", and the instrumental "From Now On".
Awesome will look into that
Favorite Band-Maid track is whichever is currently playing.
🙌🙌🙌
Some of the songs in their previous album the unseen world are more chaotic and complicated but after that they tuned down a bit, I remember the bassist mentioned in one of the interviews that she tries to makes the song more melodic and sound better with less busy bass lines, something like that.
Awesome thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
I have 152 favorite Band-Maid songs. 🕊️Po! But you should check out their live AT LollaPaloosa if Dice & Hate? Next. Also, since you're a drummer, Freedom OLV
I will definitely get my teeth into these.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
@@joelyjamz Lollapalooza ? BAND MAID ?, Dice + Hate ?,....( Do it ! ), but do not forget the full face helmet on your head !
Welcome to Band Maid, they have been my favorite rock band on the planet since I discovered them 18 months ago. They are fantastic live and I’d recommend that you check out something live next. They’ve been around a decade now, so you have a lot of songs to choose from, but my favorite suggestion these days is from Lollapalooza this year; “Dice & Hate?”
It’s two songs that they bridge together with some nice drumming that I think shows off the band. The audio is pretty solid (it was officially streamed to Hulu) but the camera work isn’t great at times.
ruclips.net/video/a6gvg9Xg4Ao/видео.html
Awesome thanks for this 🙌🙌
Hey, we're about the same "age"😂
Thank you for your reaction. If you really want to see BAND-MAID in action react to Lollapalloza 2023 live video performance of DICE/HATE?. It will be much worth it, Joely.
Awesome will definitely check this out 🎸🙌🔥
The only Band-Maid songs that have a drum solo are the live versions of Domination and Freedom. But I think Corillium, No God, Dice and Warning have good drumming. Right now the video to see is Hate live from Lollapalooza this year where the band practically set the stage on fire and blew everyone away.
Awesome will check them out 🙌🙌
Manners / Black Hole live are a fabulous 2 fer and you'll like Warning MV I'm sure. lot's of bass and drums goodness in both
Awesome will check these out 🙌
@@joelyjamz Manners/Black hole is quite special.
That’s awesome!! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
Ha ha incredible can’t wait to start the journey 🙌🙌🙌
MISA (all caps, no last name😁) the bass player is off the charts amazing! To see it watch the 2 song video of Dice and Hate? from this year's lollapalooza. I was there and still can't believe what I saw.
Awesome thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌
Yes. F*** ing spectacular... CHICAGO TRIBUNE wrote: ' Lollapalooza was not ready '

Hey Joely ! Welcome to the world of Band-Maid !
Very nice first reaction ! I would recommend "From now on"
Do you also do drum covers ?
Hey thanks for the comment!!! I will plan to do some in the future but not sure sure when yet as I’m busy gigging in my band 🙌🙌
Amazing I can’t wait to start my journey 🙌🙌
Since you're a drummer I have to recommend the live version of FREEDOM found on their official youtube channel. IDK enough about drumming to comment on what she does in that performance, but the way she does it, I have to imagine watching it would bring pure joy to any drummer's face.
Awesome will check it out 🙌
DO IT!
It’s happening 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks Joely! Welcome to Band-Maid!
More then welcome 🙌🙌🙌
Hi. You just heard the best rhythm section.
Ha ha they are immense 🙌🙌
I'm late to this party but I see the Maidiac's have stopped in to say hi. Welcome ! 😏❤️🎙🎸🥁🤘😎
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
I will just never get tired of watching musicians discover this band for the first time. Great reaction, don't be afraid to go deep on explaining why you're blown away, we love reactors that add musical context to our favorite band.
🙌🙌
Welcome to the world of Band-Maid, this "Pigeon Hole" is deep my friend.........only 130+ more songs to go! !0yrs together as a band and they just keep getting better. Pick a song, any song it just doesn't matter. I envy any Band-Maid fan that has a favorite song...
That’s for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
Amid all the comments and suggestions, I would add two bands to your discover section: Gacharic Spin and Lovebites - get any recent video and It will do a good introduction.
Awesome thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
Welcome and down the Pigeon hole we go, Po! 🦍🍌Great 1st reaction, Po!
🙌🙌🙌
My recommendations are: 'Unleash' (nice video), "After Life", 'The non-fiction days'. Also their instruments 'Onset'', 'From now on' and 'Without holding back'. Be careful, Band -Maid poses the risk to get addicted. 🙂Another Japanese band I would also recommend is Hanabie. Those girls look cuter but rock much harder.
🙌🙌🙌
This song hits even harder live in person 😁
Ahhh I bet it does 🙌🙌🙌
Being a drummer I'd recommend "Freedom" live.
Two of the more up to date progressive tracks are "Giovanni" and "I still seek revenge"
Awesome thanks for this and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
Joely , Welcome to BAND-MAID enjoy your journey down the Pigeon hole , MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin , Shambles is the closing song for Anime Kengan Ashura its an Anime about fighters , next song Domination , official live video .
Very excited to start my BAND- MAID journey.
Thanks for the suggestions 🙌🙌
Love watching people lose their BAND-MAID cherry!
🙌🙌🙌🙌
They are quite simply the most dynamic band today. I suggest "Thrill" and "From Now On".
🙌🙌
Just realised I'd totally missed your first reaction to THE best band in the universe - my organisational skills are a bloody shambles.
🙌🙌
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌🙌
fantastic band and are superb live Domination Live, Freedom Live, think of a genre and they have a song for it

B-M are the best of the best, and best experienced live. Any of their live performances are worth a listen, but as a drummer yourself, try 'Freedom'.
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Well Joely Jamz If you are a drummer than Freedom live is probably your next song by the beautiful ladies of Band-maid.. However, they have over 100 tracks and they don't have a bad one so anything, will be awsome..
"Bands from That side of the world, baby metal and now Band-maid"?? Lol.. You have a very long way to go..
Here are a few more for you. If you Dare?
Lovebites - Holy war live
Nemophila - Sorai sorai
Hagane - Super villan
Trident - Ambivilant
Gacharic spin - Timashi live ( twin drummers) crazy good
Aldious - dominator live
Enjoy, I fear you will never be the same again...
Best wishes from France
Awesome will check them all out 🙌
@@joelyjamz Can't wait to see your face.. Just subscribed, so will be along for the ride..
Incredible band, really enjoyed this track and can’t wait to do more 🔥🔥
"Warning" (MV), "From Now On" (instrumental), "Daydreaming" (power ballad); "Hate?" (live, Lollapalooza, 2023); "Play" (official live); "I Still Seek Revenge" (controlled chaos); "Catharsis" (acoustic).
Thanks for these, I will get round to them all eventually 🙌🙌
Davey-Boyd said it all. Unfortunately, the only difference is that I'm not able to go to Japan to see these fantastic ladies. There is so much in their music for a drummer to appreciate. Akane made me put down my guitar and take up drumming two and a half years ago and I've never been so happy with my music.
They are amazing 🙌🙌🙌
Awesome reaction! Although I am slightly late to the party, I am sure that you have been informed that you have just stumbled upon a phenomenal force of nature. The sheer musicianship of all these ladies will astound you... but yes, MISA. Enjoy the journey, my friend. Thank you for the reaction. 🔥🖤
Thank you for the comment and thanks for watching 🙌🙌
Since your channel as drummer in it. Freedom. Drum solo. Bass? Miso. Live concert version of Play. Manners & Black Hole is double from an online concert. Hold On is an instrumental tour de force.
Other JRock ladies. Lovebirds. Holy War from 2020 festival.
Nemophilia.
I'm not great with links. Welcome to the rabbithole of Bandmaid. Cheers.
Will have a look into it 🙌🙌🙌
Welcome! Lista of suggestions below.
From now on
Onset live
Domination live
Blooming

I stop here for now to overload with awesomeness

Most Madiacs will tell you their favorite Band-Maid song is the last one they listened to. You should definitely do their live videos. There's 2 doubles you can do. The Dice/Hate? from Lolapolooza 2023 is a good one. Dice is a great showcase for the bassist Misa and Hate? has a cool bass vs guitar back and forth. The other double is Manners/Black Hole. It's a great combo because it shows just how diverse their sound is. I won't spoil it any more than that.
Can’t wait to get stuck into more 🙌🙌
Next Up: Freedom live by BAND-MAID.
Will look into that soon 🙌
Live is where they are at . try Domination live 2020 at Diver City Tokyo. there is no turning back once you see and hear this.
Awesome thanks for the suggestion 🙌🙌
Check they MV Warning and they live performance from Lollapalooza the song Hate 😉 You will enjoy I promise 😉
Awesome will check that out 🙌🙌
Like i'm sure everyone is saying, you got to see them live to really enjoy this band. Lollapalooza 2023 Hate is just the lastest jem that has a bass / guitar duel backed by Arkane's excellent drumming.
Awesome will check this out 🙌🙌
Thanks for reacting to the greatest hard rock band in the world!
Awesome will put them on the list 🙌🙌
Best group of musicians out there.
🙌🙌
Band Maid is amazing usually Domination is the go to song and since you have done both Baby Metal and Band Maid you have to check out Lovebites (Hammer of Wrath Live is a must). Both Band Maid and Lovebites are my all time favorite J Metal bands 🤘🤘
Awesome will check that all out 😄
Evry Band-Maid video would be a good choice for your next Band-Maid reaction. Especially their live ones. They range from good to great to epic on everything the play. You might also want to check out Aldious, Lovebites, Mary's Blood, and Nemophila. The Japanese all female rock and heavy metal rabbit hole is a deep one, and there is much talent to see and hear.
Thanks for the comment l.
I have plenty of requests to get through ha ha 🙌
Akane is an outstanding drummer!

Joely, now that you have gone down the path - enjoy. Band-Maid has a large discography, and an alter ego, but as for your next thing to listen to I’d suggest Manners / Black Hole. - Live (no audience due to C19 but outstanding). Thanks for the reaction.
I am very excited 🙌🙌
they are the top of the crop today

Next... band maid domination live ❤
