This is the ending theme for the brawler anime Kengan Ashura, writing for anime is a Big Deal in Japan. This is the third or fourth theme song they have written anime!!
Man... This made me realize one this, totally unrelated to the song. As a 30+ old metal and hard rock fan, one of the thing I miss most in life is headbanging with a head full of hair, you can't beat that feeling.
No matter how many times they shoot, they never miss. Look at the entire catalogs of Band Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, and our other favorite Japanese all-female bands -- where are the bad songs, the truly mediocre songs? How many Western bands can praise that highly (when you look at each and every song from their respective cannons)? The Beatles, the Stones, the Who, Led Zeppelin, U2, Pink Floyd...they all certainly have mediocre songs and (if we're candid) a few real clunkers -- not these Japanese Ladies.
