- The age old question: Turbo or Supercharger? Want to know what boost solution is best for your Lamborghini Huracan? We test VF Engineering's Supercharger, The HYPERCHARGER, against Underground Racing's Twin Turbo kit for the Lamborghini Huracan STO. These are two totally different solutions for STO owners to choose from.
The UGR Twin Turbo STO is putting down 1650 WHP to the wheels while the VF Engineering HYPERCHARGER gives you a boost of 200hp, bringing the total to 830 HP out of the STO.
This might be the perfect platform to boost a v10 engine on.
On the UGR Twin Turbo, we fitted it with a fresh set of HRE wheels, lowered the car, and applied stealth PPF to protect that amazing paint.
The VF Engineering Supercharged STO got a full color change along with Boden titanium exhaust.

Nicee Jp was at your place too greetings from Germany but I personally think he thinks that the svj is the strongest in the UGR fleet I think he doesn’t know that there are plenty 3000+++ WHP cars too 😂
Not really a good closing point. I’ve had 2 UGR R8’s stage one kit was 50k 1000hp at the crank and I failed the car for three years 40k miles never had an issue. Second car 1400 hp at the crank 10k miles and is in my currently daily rotation. The IGR cars are 100% reliable. Btw install time is 2-4 weeks not a year. Get your facts correct

A whole episode - regular series - of scaring the be-jesus out of beautiful women in fast cars would be a definite hit and crowd pleaser. That format would also be a good fit for Instagram and TikTok shorts, pulling in more fans. Plus some track day supercar experiences for novices and enthusiasts. At least once a week videos and a good regular smattering of shorts. Job done. Keep up the great work.

I think twin turbo is the best in my opinion
One thing I've noticed about TT Lambos is often people cant do anything besides laugh hysterically after a pull, it's silly fast
If you have a year to wait and the price of an extra car to pay,it’s definitely worth it,but seriously what if your car gets stolen? I guess i would go with the supercharger.
Daily driver I go with Supercharger,weekend car I go for the Turbo.......
I always wanted one of those vf engg Huracans. 800 bhp is like the limit for most car guys.
Above that price, reliability and ability to put down power become questionable.
Drag/top speed = Turbo
Track/drivability = Supercharger
on RWD configuration at least, on AWD turbo isn't so bad.
my preference will always go for SC, as you keep the exhaust note and much better throttle response.

@@jgsurron could be done, problem then become lot of extra weight from having both systems, not to mention the extra cooling required.
you don't gain as much when it come to power to weight ratio as you'd think and very likely completly spoil the chassis balance in the process.
honestly imho something worth checking is hybrid system where the electric part take care of the low RPM but on condensators rather than huge battery.
or also electric turbo, still pretty new but i think audi is working on it, as they don't rely on exhaust to spool the turbines there's much less turbo lag.
as much as i hate pure EV with a passion, there's loads of benefit in incorporating it in future gaz engine design as their biggest downsides are the batteries.
rather than lugging around a ton of battery cells, a quick charging condensator can give all the benefits of EV with very little extra weight.
not to mention no charging stations and improvement of the power grid required.
also even a single extra electric motor mated with the crank shaft can drastically improve an engine performance and/or MPG,
while not requiring a complete new drive train and redesign of the chassis for more budget oriented cars.
also the noise of EV alone might sound like a drill, but pair it with an engine noise and it start to sound like powering a jet turbine or the freakin' bat mobile,
something that would be a much easier sell to old school petrol heards like me.
might even become cool as an engine noise, next to the supercharger whine and the turbo whistle, who know.

I luv underground racing Lamborghinis & r8s one of the best in the business one of my dream builds a twin turbo 1400hp performante 1,150hp on pump gas
Even with just the VF supercharger kit making 700awhp on 91 pump it's way too fast for the streets. So, 1,100awhp would be mental for just street use.

Thank you for this video. I went to VFE with my STO, I don't care about pushing numbers or drag racing and all that, I wanted to retain the car's OEM feel and driveability. With a TT kit, you're changing everything. It does sound better with a TT kit tho, I'll give it that. Looks properly terrifying.
Are you kidding? Turbos kill exhaust sound. Much better with SC kit. I know I have the VF kit on my Performante.

The TTs are FAR faster, but the supercharged V10 sounds a lot better. Feel like that’s the deciding factor, so you want to destroy everything on the road or destroy 99% of cars in the road but have a close to NA v10 sound
Good way of putting it. But with 850 bhp and and if not a sto, you get awd so you can destroy like 99.5 %of the cars.
usually true - except in huracans/r8s. they sound SO good turbocharged, to the point where a lot of people (myself included) think they make it sound better

The roof scoop on the STO is not part of the intake system LOL. The naca ducts on the rear quarter panels feed into the air intake boxes. The roof scoop is for engine cooling.
He was joking, to try and convince the guy that the sound wasn't a turbo... They took the engine bonnet off, they know how it works.
