Sorry, but I got distracted by the music behind the talking. I expect to hear the song snippets being referred to, but to constantly have music playing is disturbing. Made it hard to hear your commentary. Almost wanted to rewatch with sound off but captions on.
The first time I heard this song I had to pull over on the side of the road so I could give it my full attention! Chills. Seeing Pink in concert is on my bucket list! I'm 71 so I'll have to hurry😂
@@christinebickmore93 I’ve seen her twice. I don’t really go to concerts anymore because you usually just end up watching the screens because the artist is so far away but she puts on an amazing show especially with all the aerial work. She literally flew on wires up to the nosebleed seats. I was wondering if she would do this song since it’s one of my favorites and she did sing it with a video recording. I can’t stress enough to go see Pink in concert if you have the chance.
Just Give Me a Reason is one of the most well written songs I’ve ever heard, and the singing raises it to incredible heights. Few songs can capture the complexities of a struggling relationship so beautifully.
Shallow is amazing, but the song from this film that really gets me is “I’ll never love again” it matches the story of my feelings after my husband died, and it’s completely true.
"Winter Song" is stunning - one of my favorites to listen to around the holidays. The glaring hole in this list is anything by Nickel Creek. Seriously. "This Side". "Reasons Why." "The Lighthouse's Tale". TALK ABOUT CHILLS. The arrangements of their instruments are stunning and just create the perfect setting for their angelic harmonies. Just brilliant.
If you don't want to hear this woman talking then why did you click on this video? This channel is awesome and do a terrific job. This is their choices of songs and their reasons for picking them. If you want to hear the songs than go watch them but don't complain about the video when your the one who clicked on it. It's insane how people react to things these days. Think before you speak.
I just love the song 'Just Give a Reason', i tear up most of the time listening to it , it is just WOW!! I love P!nk, she is just amazing, and in the 'Honorable Mentions', love the song 'Somebody that i Used to know', ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Great picks but I was disappointed that En Vogue "Don't Let Go" didn't make this list ! The harmonies and feeling in that song always gives me shivers! (Sorry Ed. )
Thank you…. They didn’t mention it in the Honourable mention… I mean if not the original at least the James Arthur version… And how is lovely an Honourable mention??? It should be number 1
"Don't Tell Me" - Disturbed f. Ann Wilson of Heart. Ann and David's voices blend together so beautifully and it's so haunting... It's perfection in my opinion! Honorable mention: Broken by Seether and Amy Lee.
"Lay Me Down" Sam Smith/ John Legend >making the longing feeling more powerful and meaningful as a duet "Stay" Rihanna feat.Mikki Ekko >the feeling of loneliness and loss deepened through the reflection of the voices My favourite is "Lovely" btw
These harmonies are the main reason Say Something, I Will Wait, Just Give Me A Reason, Lovely and Somebody That I Used to Know are some of my all time favorites and still in my regular rotation after a long time
Carrie Underwood has the most wonderful voice I've ever heard. Almost every song she sings gives me chills, specially if it's a live version. And I think P!nk should be more praised for her vocals, she has a powerful and unique voice and Just Give Me A Reason is just one prove of it.
I agree with most of the choices, but I really feel like "Lovely" should have made it into the top ten. That ballad is so powerful and hypnotic and the harmonies leave a lasting impression from the first moment you hear it.
OMG, I was going to post the SAME! We only get to hear a few SECONDS & the rest is her talking…like we don’t already KNOW how WE FEEL…Now let us hear it PLEASE!!
This is the first time I’ve actually agreed with ANY of these lists, especially number 1. I saw Groban in concert prior to the ‘AWAKE’ album; it was AMAZING by the way. I cried A LOT! But, it would’ve been cool to see this song live even if Lady Smith Black Mambazo wasn’t there. It is a gorgeous song and was always one of my top 5 from this incredibly talented man! ❤️Josh!
Most of these songs were a huge part of my growing up/childhood. I agree with all of them. They were all powerful and beautiful in their own unique ways. Some were more emotional and intense with their harmonies while others were more beautiful and lovely with their harmonies but they were all so good
"9 crimes" and "The blower's daughter" "Beneath Your beautifull" "Phantom of the opera" by Nighwish "I don't wanna live forever" by Zayn and Taylor Also "Falling slowly" gets me everytime
"Lucky", Jason Mraz + Colbie Callait. Lol Started writing this just as you were got to it in the honorable mentions. Maybe it's not quite recent enough to be considered "modern", especially because it was a cover, but "Killing my Softly," The Fugees.
For me, no matter how great a “processed” song is, it can’t give me chills like raw live music. This isn’t a duet, but Whitney’s national anthem does it to me every time. I’d have to go back and do some listening to find duets that do it for me, but this video didn’t give me the chills I was hoping for.
Canadian Tenors, or now just The Tenors singing Canada’s Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. Bonus points for the Oprah performance with Celine Dion singing with them. You’ll cry. ❤
"Lullaby" has to be heard in full. The harmony is what makes it. Il Divo's "Hallelujah" is just amazing, and yet so sad because their baritone singer Carlos Marin died due to Covid.
One of the most beautiful songs that is rarely mentioned is Ricky Martin -Tu Recuerdo with La Mari De Chambao and Tommy Torres…the MTV Unplugged version is my favorite.
Backstreet Boys harmonies were en pointe! De s tiny's Child too Say something Christina & A great big world one of my favourite songs of all time, as is give me reason by Pink & Nate Lullaby is beautiful
Pink did an album with Dallas Green of City and Colour called You+Me. It's just the two of them soulfully harmonizing. I recommend checking it out. Slower tempo, folksy, but smooth.
Spice Girls - Goodbye. That already topped the list for me in my head. At the time, learning Ginger was leaving the group, I felt like an era ended! This song was such a beautiful, tender and sweet way to send her off as the girls march on.
@@anggamahendra9191 Viva Forever is such an underrated song, it filled my child self with a sort of longing and nostalgia I was too young to understand, but the sound of it still pulls at all my heartstrings to this day. It has this underlying sadness to it, but the kind you sort of just want to bask in. It's truly a forgotten little masterpiece.
I don't understand the complaints about the commentary. This video is meant to be Ms Mojo's thoughts on duets and which ones they believe gave the best chills and why. If you were wanting to hear full duets, why not just watch the music video? You're already on youtube.
pretty good list, seen as I remember some of them. fun fact Lady Smith Black Mambazo was also featured on I Shall Be There from the 2nd album Awake and Breathe by B*Witched.
You missed First Aid Kit and Folk Uke. Their harmonies always get me. Not a fan of Mumford but love the shots at Red Rocks! I've been going to shows there since 1977 😊
P!nk and Nate, Taylor and Ed are always up there for me, but I thought I would see If the World Was Ending - JP Saxe ft Julia Michaels there. It's an amazing song.

I also love Dusk Til Daw by ZAYN and Sia, also Minefield by Faouzia and John Legend. I know you already know SB19 with their songs MAPA and Nyebe.
Fly - Maddie & Tae; Anything Dixie Chicks; White Winter Hymnal - Pentatonix
Sorry, but I got distracted by the music behind the talking. I expect to hear the song snippets being referred to, but to constantly have music playing is disturbing. Made it hard to hear your commentary. Almost wanted to rewatch with sound off but captions on.
I remember the first time i heard Pink’s Just Give Me a Reason. It debuted on the radio and it was one of THE most beautiful songs I had ever heard
The first time I heard this song I had to pull over on the side of the road so I could give it my full attention! Chills. Seeing Pink in concert is on my bucket list! I'm 71 so I'll have to hurry😂
That is a cool song.

Agreed! It works so well as a duet
When i first herd Pink and Nate sing together. I bawled like a little baby. 😢 such a great song.
Just Give Me a Reason is one of the most well written songs I’ve ever heard, and the singing raises it to incredible heights. Few songs can capture the complexities of a struggling relationship so beautifully.
More than Words by Extreme. Everything is stripped down so that you can focus on the amazing harmonies. Just a guitar and their voices.
watch the cover by Jack Black and Jimmy Fallon
Yes ❤
Yea, “Say Something” does it for me every time!!!
“Time to Say Goodbye” “Con te partiro” is the GOAT .. Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman… The fountains at the Bellagio immortalized it.
I know this is a list for “modern” songs, but for me the GOATs for chilling harmonies will always be Simon & Garfunkel 😊
I'm very happy that P!NK was on here since she is my favorite singer since I've been listening to her since I was born
Pentatonix's cover of The Prayer. Those harmoines will make you shake from the chills running up and down your spine.
Any list glorifying harmonies does not include Pentatonix is an incomplete list.
I love anything Pentatonix!!!
I thought for sure that Broken by Seether ft Amy Lee would have made this list. That song is amazing.
Absolutely agree
YES! It really is a gorgeous song! Always gets me.
I agree.
Amy Lee is amazing.
Say Something always gives me emotional chills. I just knew that it would be included.
That song was in every commercial and TV show when it first came out. Not saying it's a bad song, but it was overplayed.
I don't blame you, the novelty kind of wore off by hearing it countless times.
Came here for Pink and Nate. I like Fun(Nate's band) and Pink is my ultimate fave so this duet is everything!
For me 'tell him' by Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand is impeccable harmony, chilling, soothing, yet amazing 😍
To me, it's "Somebody that i used to know". Happy thursday afternoon, Jen. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Absolutely anything from Pentatonix will give goosebumps and chills. They have over 200 songs to choose from.
Shallow is amazing, but the song from this film that really gets me is “I’ll never love again” it matches the story of my feelings after my husband died, and it’s completely true.
Me too, Samantha. Me too.
The Corrs' harmonies are amazing!
Shallow still makes me tear up. I can't even sing along without my voice breaking
It’s beautiful, and they’re so good together.
@@samanthahughes7783 🥰
I don't get that song at all.
Say Something always gives me chills. You can feel the sadness. I also love Just Give Me a Reason.
Thank you for recognizing the power in Mumford’s vocal work

i think "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely" more fits of this list than "Shape of My Heart"
I thought they'd include "breathe" from the dna album. A capella!
Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean Don’t You Wanna Stay…beautiful soulful harmony!
‘Stay’ by Rihanna, featuring Mikky Ekko. In my opinion it should have at least been an honorable mention.
oh my god, I love that song!!! I'm glad it was you who mentioned it!!! you're right it should've been an honorable mention with all the other ones.
You should hear 30 seconds to mars sing it 🔥
I just love the song 'Just Give a Reason', i tear up most of the time listening to it , it is just WOW!!
(Sorry Ed. )
I think that one is in the 90s, so it was not considered
Zendaya and Efron, Rewrite the Stars
That sooo should have been top on this list! So insulting to not even get an honorable mention 😤
Thank you…. They didn’t mention it in the Honourable mention… I mean if not the original at least the James Arthur version… And how is lovely an Honourable mention??? It should be number 1
The entire greatest showman ost qualifies ..... spectacular album
How you could leave a Kelly Clarkson duet out of here kills me she has so many amazing duets.
Labyrinth & Emeli Sande - Beneath Your Beautiful 😍
Absolutely! I’m so glad you made this comment
great chice!
*choice
Less talk more music
Why can't she just let us hear the bloody songs her voice is so annoying
"Don't Tell Me" - Disturbed f. Ann Wilson of Heart. Ann and David's voices blend together so beautifully and it's so haunting... It's perfection in my opinion!
Honorable mention: Broken by Seether and Amy Lee.
So happy to see "LUCKY" on this list, even if it's an honorable mention. One of my all-time favoriies 💕
"Lay Me Down" Sam Smith/ John Legend >making the longing feeling more powerful and meaningful as a duet
"Stay" Rihanna feat.Mikki Ekko >the feeling of loneliness and loss deepened through the reflection of the voices
My favourite is "Lovely" btw
EVERYTHING Nate Ruess sings gives me chills 💕 The duet with Pink sends me to a whole new level.
Yes!!! Il Divo - Regresa a mi, is just amazing. And let's not forget about Pink - Just give me a reason, I still love that song so much.
No Air by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown got me teary-eyed. Just to name one of so many 🥲
This song yes!
I love that song too it’s so beautiful ❤️❤️
One of my all time favorites. ♥️
Fell in love with that song the first time I heard it❤😍❤
As much as I hate Chris Brown, I love that song.
Can we get a top 10 Kelly Clarkson duets? I mean there are so many to choose from.
Just give me a reason so wonderful to listen to too ❤️❤️ Pink and Nate’s sound so great together 👍
A few songs on this list are among my favourites, but Backstreet Boys and Il Divo are just 💗💗💗
These harmonies are the main reason Say Something, I Will Wait, Just Give Me A Reason, Lovely and Somebody That I Used to Know are some of my all time favorites and still in my regular rotation after a long time
Little Big Town’s Stay has incredible harmony, like no other.
I agree with most of the list, however, "I Thought She Knew" by NSYNC still gives me goosebumps, it's awesome!!
Carrie Underwood has the most wonderful voice I've ever heard. Almost every song she sings gives me chills, specially if it's a live version. And I think P!nk should be more praised for her vocals, she has a powerful and unique voice and Just Give Me A Reason is just one prove of it.
I remember that Simon Cowell said he predicted that Carry Underwood would sell more than any other winner of American Idol! Love 💕 her!
I agree with most of the choices, but I really feel like "Lovely" should have made it into the top ten. That ballad is so powerful and hypnotic and the harmonies leave a lasting impression from the first moment you hear it.
I agree! I absolutely love that song. Birds of a feather is amazing too.
Falling Slowly from Once
Agreed! So gorgeous.
First thought I had…can’t believe it wasn’t mentioned…
It would be nice to actually hear the songs. Less talking!
However, if they don't talk enough, YT will cite them for copyright violations. Blame SM.
So disappointing. Don't watch if you actually want to hear them sing;(
OMG, I was going to post the SAME! We only get to hear a few SECONDS & the rest is her talking…like we don’t already KNOW how WE FEEL…Now let us hear it PLEASE!!
I mean, I get it. But this is not a list of songs, it's Ms Mojo, that's the style of this channel: tell conext
Nothing stopping you go listen to them!
I'm so glad il Divo was mentioned! RIP Carlos Marin
Pentatonics “Light in the Hallway” & their version of “Mary Did You Know.” Pentatonics is the definition of perfect harmony!!!
Thank you for sharing 10,000 promises & I still. Love both those Backstreet Boys so much! ❤
This is the first time I’ve actually agreed with ANY of these lists, especially number 1. I saw Groban in concert prior to the ‘AWAKE’ album; it was AMAZING by the way. I cried A LOT! Anything Andrea Bocelli sings with anyone is magical.
Broken by Seether ft Amy Lee is another song worth mentioning
Rag'n'Bone & Pink, or & Gregory Porter (on Jools Holland BBC) , or & Jorja Smith (Brit's 2018) ... Amy Lee & Lzzy Hale, ....so much to choose from...
The Civil Wars' harmonies were heat shattering.
Barton Hollow. Oh how I miss them.
I was introduced to them through Dust to Dust, and that song still has a hold over me.
Little Me still gives me goosebumps to this day.
The beautiful and artful coalescence of harmonies always brings to mind “they took the time to make those work”.
Most of these songs were a huge part of my growing up/childhood. I agree with all of them. They were all powerful and beautiful in their own unique ways. Some were more emotional and intense with their harmonies while others were more beautiful and lovely with their harmonies but they were all so good
This would be a great content with less commenting and more singing…
I agree.
Ditto. Some of the worst writing on MsMojo.
Ms mojo should be silent
Can't watch or listen due to the constant interruptions
I was just thinking the same thing.
6:49 Say Something is definitely my favorite on this list
I totally agree with everything has changed, perfect, lucky, and just give me a reason
"9 crimes" and "The blower's daughter"
"Beneath Your beautifull"
"Phantom of the opera" by Nighwish
"I don't wanna live forever" by Zayn and Taylor
Also "Falling slowly" gets me everytime
I'm not into Pinks type of music but she has an incredible voice.
Little Me, this song by Little Mix gives me chills every single time 🤌🏽❤️🎵
Faouzia & John Legend - “Minefields”
Holy hell their voices are so perfect together
this one! if they were gonna pick any john legend song, it shouldve been this one
Outstanding performance with Pink. Standing Ovation!!!!❤
Far too much chat, not enough of the duets.
I like the version of Ed Sheeran’s Perfect with Andrea Bocelli better than his duet with Knowles.
Don’t like the duet with Beyoncé at all. The one with Bocelli was just perfect.
Yes “Unbreak My Heart” Il Divo - I just want to cry! Beautiful
"Lucky", Jason Mraz + Colbie Callait. Lol Started writing this just as you were got to it in the honorable mentions.
Maybe it's not quite recent enough to be considered "modern", especially because it was a cover, but "Killing my Softly," The Fugees.

The Bee Gees sound like angels singing Too Much Heaven.
No auto tune- just the three of them singing into the same mic.
What about Celine Dion and Barbara Steisand TELL HIM? This is an even more masterpice ! Must listen!
And also the magical song between Céline Dion and the Bee Gees!
Ameno Metal by ERA it gives me massive goosebumps and I listen to it several times a day. I can't get enough of it.
Hate To See Your Heart Break (Hayley Williams and Michelle Williams) criminally underrated song and harmonies
For me nothing tops the bee gees especially in "too much heaven"
BeeGees were harmonic perfection.
“You and me on the rock” by Brandi and Catherine Carlile. Those harmonies are perfection.
I was hanging up my shirts while watching this and came across my Backstreet Boys tour shirt when Shaped of My Heart came on 😆👍🏼
Hold On by WIlson Phillips deserved (at the very least) an honorable mention. I personally think it's a top 10
One of the most beautiful songs that is rarely mentioned is Ricky Martin -Tu Recuerdo with La Mari De Chambao and Tommy Torres…the MTV Unplugged version is my favorite.
Backstreet Boys harmonies were en pointe! De s tiny's Child too
Say something Christina & A great big world one of my favourite songs of all time, as is give me reason by Pink & Nate
Lullaby is beautiful
Pink did an album with Dallas Green of City and Colour called You+Me. It's just the two of them soulfully harmonizing. I recommend checking it out. Slower tempo, folksy, but smooth.
Brian McKnight & Josh Groban "Bridge over Troubled Waters". Amazing!
Spice Girls - Goodbye. That already topped the list for me in my head. At the time, learning Ginger was leaving the group, I felt like an era ended! This song was such a beautiful, tender and sweet way to send her off as the girls march on.
or maybe Viva Forever

“The Night We Met” by Lord Huron also speaks to me deep down in my soul
Sheeran and Bocelli, Perfect.
soooooo happy that you included If
No Question Pink & Nate - 100% - However BSB Shape of my heart - has a special place - took my daughter to see them in concert it was great.
Like I'm gonna lose you and before it explodes are ones of my favorite

Pentatonix - Mary, Did You Know.
