As an American, knowing that he comes from the hoods of Bakersfield, and being a landlord in that horrible town...I am proud. To know that this beautiful voice, spirit, love, grace and talent comes from such a place. I listen to him every day and he gives me hope.

Porter live is AN EVENT!! Go see him when you can ... his voice and stage presence - man what a musician!! (Sept 9, 2021 10:01 PST) This is my 5th night - not all in a row - but I can not seem to grow tired of listening to his velvet voice.
I have seen Greg 3X live : amazing artist who sings with conviction and empathy. We are lucky to have this matchless Jazz voice !

Watching this video to refresh my memory of a wonderful concert last night at the Lowry theatre in salford Quays Manchester when Gregory Porter played to a full house who gave him a standing ovation. Great guy.
