While the politicians of East and West are at each other's throat, this excellent Group proves that there are no boundaries any more. All the musicians on stage are TOP, the compositions are fabulous. Great act.

I only discovered this gem about a year ago. What an absolute TREAT to one's ears. I think I listen to the whole thing at least once a week. Of course, given the tumultuous inner torment that is Russia at this time, here's hoping that Alexi, Slava and Sergei and their loved ones are safe from any agony or discomfort. What this world needs is another concert with this same talent-rich crew.
I have no clue how to explain my feelings. Being in my hometown, listening to the jazz music I used to imagine myself in the entire world. Being so far away from my hometown, listening to the jazz music I imagine my hometown. Thank You, Dave! ❤ So, I am crying too...💓

If this is Jazz, then this is exactly how it should be. Not dull / monotonous for a moment, or music being replaced by finger muscle exercise. It is exhileratingly beautiful.

Love this guitarist, has no expression on his face whatsoever, even during some of the illest solos O.o
Just after 17 mins in he plays himself and makes no expression :D
You know he's blind right? Facial expressions that you do/recognise are imitations from people you saw. His face and body is full of expressions but they're not ones you recognise because they're not copied from sighted-people. It's a bit like when parents of deaf/dumb children think their children are not communicating with them but actually they are, you just have to learn to read the limb movements etc.
