After getting back into golf after 20 years out. I started with a 50 quid second hand set of mizuno mx100s. After I found I loved golf again I got a set of Titleist ap1 718 4-pw for 352 from eBay. Mint condition. Absolutely love them. Dont think I’ll ever change from them.
Literally the same as you mate but I went a tad mental on eBay lol ... went from having a set of mp33 I got a hold of and a mix of Cleveland wedges old 910 d3 - to a set of ap2 712 ... cobra f8 ... sold them all now have 919 tours vokeys and a st200g and st200 3 wood ... It’s a bloody addiction 😆
I just picked up a mint used set 3iron -pw also with a 48 degree for $400. Can’t wait to take them on a course, great feel great sound great look . They were super expensive when they came out
The form of that final 3 wood, the club position at the top and the and the resulting flight path represent an astounding improvement - very impressive
I use AP3's 5-48° in right hand. I paid £425 for these and also got 19° and 23° Titleist H2. I thought that I had a bargain!! The AP3 are definitely my favourite clubs I've owned, they look good and have forgiveness. Another great video 👍
I DID notice the bag! Because it is almost identical to the Callaway I use. They were a great buy at Costco about 5-6 years ago. $90 CAD (~£50). Only difference I can see is yours has two more pockets.
As a lefty, used demo clubs come pretty easy and pretty cheap. However, when I need to sell them, I tend to sit on them for a while but since I'll use them for a year, it's worth it.
600 quid is really well done for the full bag mate. Did you find left handed clubs were noticeably cheaper? I changed my whole set in April, Callaway Rogue driver, Rogue 3 wood, Rogue hybrid, Callaway Mavrik irons (5-PW+AW, these were fitted and the only part brand new cost 540), two Honma TW-W4 wedges. 900 quid ish all in. I worked out RRP new would have been closer to 1700 quid so second hand in near new quality is a big saving.

Great looking bag Simon. Great improvements with striking. I'm a lefty, but have always played right handed. Swing a bat and bowl right handed. In your opinion, should I give left handed golf a try? Holding the club lefty, it doesn't feel as awkward as it did a few years ago. I'm around a 17 handicap right handed. Thinking left handed may change the perception and may come natural. Your thoughts?
I just bought a great condition set from eBay for $569.99. 4-PW & 48 degree. Idk how the shafts will suit me though. They are the NS Pro Modus 120 Stiff
Your lefty swing is looking good Simon. I was fit for the T200 irons last year(the AP3 replacement) but these were too expensive. I’ll look on the web for AP3 with the same specs. The fitter even told me that the difference was minimal. Good video thanks!

As a left hander who learnt to play right handed as there wasn't really that many left handed clubs in the 70's and the ones that were available were very expensive. I tried to go back and play left handed a few years a go and it was a nightmare. I don't remember it being that difficult to learn when I played right handed. What's happening with the long drive training?
Serious question Simon. Do you think the more you practice lefty and you start to build muscle memory it will affect your right handed swing adversely?
Ap3 are some of the best irons in terms of forgiveness combined with workability ever dropped by Titleist imo. If they were forged, they would have been the perfect iron. Id recommend them to everyone
No better country to play golf when the weather is as gorgeous as it here. I'm naturally left handed but when i started playing golf i saw that lefties get left out a lot, so i play right handed. I'm rubbish left handed! 🤔

I have 710 ap2s I hot my 7iron 170yards carry do you think 718 will go further and be more forgiving
