- In this VladTV exclusive, Former Gambino mafia associate and current prison reform advocate Larry Lawton detailed his path to becoming one of the biggest jewel thieves in America. Lawton explained growing up around mobsters as his father worked in construction and unions. He also revealed that he was molested by a priest when he was an altar boy. Lawton also explained why he refused to snitch when facing a life sentence with two young children at home before speaking on his time as an "earner" for the Gambino crime family. This is the quietest I've ever heard Vlad. This felt like the fastest hour and half. Larry can sure tell a story, I can listen to him talk all day.

When you're interviewing a charismatic personality with an interesting story, it's best to allow them to speak in narrative as opposed to constant Q&A. Most interviewees don't have the ability to speak in narrative.
Larry was not talking about Tupac so Vlad did not have many questions

This was Vlad's easiest interview, he barely has to say a word. I love how Larry changed his life for the better. Would love to have a beer and listen to a few more of his story's.
Then check out Larry’s channel, if you haven’t already, he pretty much tells his whole life story in serial episodes, and reviews jail movies and talks about other prison related issues.
I noticed that as well. Larry carried the freight all the way without much interuption.
Thank God. Sometimes Vlad ask the dumbest questions. Asking a guy named Lawton if he was on track to becoming a made guy. WTF!
Larry left out the most important part of why he destroyed that unit manager's office in prison.
They locked up someone in solitary for something Larry did, and the guy wouldn't snitch on Larry. So Larry went to the unit manager, admitted to what did, but the woman wouldn't do anything about it unless that other guy decided to snitch on Larry himself. So he lost it. She was also known for being abusive and overall rude to people, If I'm correct she got fired later for having sex with an inmate in her office.
Larry is a true stand up guy ! I highly recommend his channel where he tells all of his story in great detail.

its was over pasta that larry had in the cell when he was already in the shu..guards shook down the cell..his celly wouldnt say nothin so they threw him in the shu too larry admiited it was his and they didnt care and he lost it..he told this story in a video i watched yesterday..he was in a medium security prison at the time..and he had that incident and went bk to Max

The easiest interview ever for Vlad...barely had to ask a question. Vlad did it right as usual, succeeded where so many other interviewers fail. Vlad just let him talk without interrupting the flow of what he was saying. Thank you Vlad.
Whenever you have a charismatic interviewee, it's best/very easy to allow them to speak in narrative. The majority of Vlad's interviewees require Q&A, for which Vlad always catches flack for his questions.

Larry is a awesome..I seen all his videos.. everything he lived through to where he is at now is a real inspiration to anyone..from braking arms and robbing to helping kids and adults turn their lives around..he is living proof that people can change and turn their life around I am greatful he is out now doing what he does for the community keep it up Larry.

Larry is talking about Polk County Sheriff (Florida) Grady Judd when he said the Sheriff in his area never wants marijuana legalized. I know this because I live in Tampa and Grady Judd does at least a half dozen press conferences every month for minor things like shoplifting. His press conferences are all over RUclips.
