Skiba did a great job. He’s super talented. The people talking crap couldn’t even play one of Blink’s songs even if they tried. He had to learn their WHOLE way of making music and it sounded awesome. California and Nine are great albums!
honestly, I like most of his work more than what Tom has been doing lately. Tom and Skiba have some similiar themes in their writing in their respective solo projects and the choice to have Matt sub in made sense to me having followed both of their careers.
Tom peaks with Dream Walker imo.
Heavens is my favorite thing from Matt but he still makes a lot of good music to this day.

I was disappointed when he joined Blink-182. They were so commercial and safe. Blink-182 is like punk rock from Target.

I like Matt because he has a great voice but I would prefer Tom because he is original but I love both

I admit. When he joined blink 182 I felt it was musically beneath him. Because their sound is so commercial and teeny-bopper-ish (?). But I realized Skiba has thrown his hat in MULTIPLE musical rings and always ended up making something amazing. There is a reason they wanted him to be the replacement. Which was probably a good call on Blink 182's part.
