Noels a great song writer. As a guitarist he is'nt that special sure he can strum chords so can most guitarists but his electric guitar soloing is very easy and very basic. But still keeping things simple is not always a bad thing and Oasis proved it. They had a sound just like acdc has a sound and its a sound that worked and sold lots of albums. I can't imagine The Damned would have put out The Black Album, Strawberries or Phantasmagoria (all excellent, by the way) without the influence of The Cure either.
Can you think of any bands worth mentioning that cite Oasis as an influence? Frankly, if your idea of inspiration is the brothers Gallagher, you're probably playing for twenty quid a night in your local pub.
I love Noel! So straight to the point
" Tell him to enjoy the rest of his hairdo !"
Damn that's funny. 😂
The LA’s album was one of the best - There She Goes best song of the 90’s.
Damn straight. Highly underrated.
Too right
In my opinion the jangly guitar pop bands of the 80s - The La's, The Housemartins, The Bolshoi, The Mighty Lemon Drops etc. - were all _way_ better bands than Oasis.
Britpop was a bit shite, really. Recycled British Invasion riffs played as loud and stupid as possible. Fun, but insubstantial.
I'd like to hear the video where other artists talk about noel
Wouldn't be great to have Noel as your best mate
I'm going to noels house
'One regret I've got is I had tickets to go see Nirvana in Manchester and I never went'
We've all been there noel
That statement wouldbe so much more Noel without the „never“.
Noel on Elvis: Didn't really care for his early stuff, but since we were both born in Liverpool, I liked the guy.
@Gelly T i think thats the joke
I love bands that keep it real. Write their own music.
Play their own music.
And always play live never mimed.
And play it loud.
Noel ticks all the Boxes. Oasis ticked all the boxes.
His honestly is the best and he makes me laugh every time!
I think Noel is well into astrology, he mentions being a Gemini quite often 🤣😂
Well he got kurts wrong. ..he's pisces
I’m a Gemini and I hate it 😔
@@bigbrother1986 yeah was gonna say that you got it 👍
I love Noel. He’s incapable of dishonesty and funny as hell.
Bullshit. He lied his way to success early on. Ask any member of the group ‘the real people’ he’s a narcissistic, song stealing, bellend.
He makes a great point: people ask him what he thinks about an artist, and of course they want him to say that they are “amazing”. But he doesn’t have to think that. And he doesn’t have to say that. When Pete Townsend said he didn’t like Led Zeppelin’s music people lost their minds. Who cares if Pete or Noel like or dislike an artist?
"People see him as one thing & I see him as another because I'm his Brother"
I can see the likeness! 😂😂😂
Yeah yeah, I know it's a quote, but yeah lol
"Tell him to enjoy the last of his hairdoos" ouch!
Idk why but I am reading the comments in a British accent
One thing Noel can’t separate himself from is liams voice on his songs..😎
I could sit and listen for days
I see why Noel is such good mates with Russell, he is so on it!
“Slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball."
Ffs
"All your dreams are made when your chained to the mirror and the razor blade"
"i wake up on the dawn and i ask her why? in a dreamers dream she never dies wipe that tear away from your eye"
"what i've heard is not what i hear, i can see the signs but they're not very clear"
Ffs
francis maynes I was litterally thinking about that
Noel has stated many times that he doesnt care about lyrics and the music is always first. He said he was high and had no idea what it meant. He makes fun of his lyrics, he's aware of them.
Are you trying to say you don't get the meaning of that lyric? Coz you've clearly never been on hard drugs.
😂😂😂
This man is amazing I could listen to him all day long. Says things as they are which some people don’t like truth hurts
Couldn't stand oasis and don't like their separate stuff. But weirdly I like Noel Gallaghers attitude lol
Fuck you! ~ i like you but not what you've got to say . . . or your onions! lmao ;-{]
all he does is mimic john lennon
Never cared much for the music, although there are some I enjoy I like his honesty. Like Shane macgowan, straight up no bullshit.
Imagine not liking whats the story. Greatest album of all time
I never would of guessed he was such a huge nirvana fan crazy how much respect he has for KURT 👍👍
Noel is a Bowie fan so he is a good egg in my book :)
As soon as Phil Collins popped up I knew Noel was about to roast😂😂
You're gay!
@@cashewpistachio1826 got him their mate
Besides funny, this is illuminating; so for him it's "to the grave" because Liam involved his wife and kids.
Cant blame him for taking such offence! leave the family out of it! But thats the answer for now. Things change.
Intelligence is more impressive when it's not overwhelmed by self importance
I’ve gotta say I listened to this with headphones and the volume is whisper quiet, blow out your eardrums, lather, rinse, repeat.
My mate taught Ed Sheeran how to play guitar.
He even gave him the ¾ sized acoustic with a capo on the 3rd fret.
He still uses it to this day.
The part where he says everythings amazing is genius the truth about bs pop stars that are scared to voice their opinions ha
GOD'S SON haha yea even if you don’t like him, you gotta admire his courage to say how he feels
He doesn't mince his words ...honest hilarity...😂
Kurt Cobain was a Pisces and he was right-handed but played the guitar left-handed
Deborah Cross if your talking about how he played guitar u say he was left handed coz in the aspect of guitar he was
Noel plays right-handed and writes left-handed, Kurt was the opposite.
I remember watching Get Him To The Greek and so much of Aldus Snow reminded me of the Gallaghers.... like both brothers rolled into one person
His song writing is without doubt his strongest skill.
Simplex is not neesesarily easy to come up with, a bit like the crosswords "know what i mean" ❤️
Thanks Capt. Obvious
Isn’t.
Noel does have impeccable taste when it comes to the greatest band ever, the one and only the incredible smiths, The absolute cream of the crop ♥️👏
Great comment mate.
P.D.W.
Intelligent, articulate man - Chip. Barkhouse The Drummist
This vid is... just amazing!
Noel always says what's he really tought, he doesn't have afraid of what repercussion it gonna have. He may have many flaws but we should recognize him for that.
Definitely maybe and Nevermind are forever the best album and the best rock band
That was amazin'
Just the driest man in Rock I don’t think anyone twigged that after he made the “I should be like every shit bag Rockstar and just say everything’s amazing” quote that from eight minutes 40 that’s all he says in the interview”
whoosh .. right over their heads!
😏
You gotta give the guy credit. He's pretty funny, doesn't say what people want to hear and NOBODY has ever gotten more out of 2 1/2 good songs than this man.
What?
I wish I could say what I think with such ease like Noel does. I can't help but like him, even if he is a bit smug.
Noel Gallagher is hilarious. I wasn’t a fan of Oasis, but he’s comedy gold.
Same! in an age of cancel culture, and plastic, nicey nice responses, its refreshing to have people not afraid to be authentic, even if it seems a tad abrasive at times.
I hate the woke tbh but some things Noel says goes too bloody far.
I thought they were over rated . But I love hfb. Noel is hilarious without even trying to be.
I like this cat. Not sure why
I hate fake people...he is real
And if you are hated, you have pisst people off..it means you hit a nerve....yeah, story of my life
I agree with you, 100% grandma.
2:19. Cobain was a Pisces
Let me Eat cake If that's the case hahaha.
Just checked his DOB 20th Feb 1963 so first day of Pisces.Miles off a Gemini though.
I think it was a joke, do you really think Noel Gallagher gives a shit about star signs?
James He’s the one that brought it up.
Well said and Pisces are geniuses:-)
I think what Noel was trying to say is that him and Cobain were both born in 1967.
“Well I know my name” I would hope so.
Congratulations on getting the joke
