Phil Collins' music is grocery store, "waiting in line at the deli" or "on hold" music. You don't hear Phil Collins when you're out enjoying a grand time. You hear Phil Collins when you wanna GTFO of wherever you are and go home. It's there as not only a reminder, but also an extra incentive for you to leave. I don't recall ever hearing Oasis at the mundane grocery store, in elevators, or while waiting for medical procedures. Phil Collins is here for that.
Just to point out, you know when you're in your editing software - you can adjust the volume of each clip individually. It's really not hard, and you can do it in any editing software - how about not having really quiet clips of people speaking and then super loud music clips. It's really not hard.

They are overrated chancers.
I remember when oasis first came out, they put a bounce in the step of council estate white bwoys all over the uk
They were very influential.
Proper
Council estate?
@@reddd-77 an inner city area with where mostly the poorest people live in government owned homes
Delonges was the best story as a fan of Blink 182 and Oasis im so happy that two bands from a completely different Universe respect each other.
Jay-Z looks like a lesbian who studies philosophy at college.
Yeah
Jay-Z, I don't like his kind of music but he is a very nice bloke.
and has more money then your entire heritage has ever accumulated
HAHHHAHHAHAHAHA
Rhys Pitman that doesn’t mean shit
My top most listened to bands_- Pink Floyd, Stone Roses, Oasis, they all serve a purpose and a story through life..my life that is.. if you agree good for you, i'm glad you have a story, and a life .PEACE!!
Egos aside I think they are one of the greatest bands of all time... personally
I don't think so. There music is to bland for me.
@@amandabooth7636 Okay
@@amandabooth7636 bad opinion Amanda. Get off the internet and take a shower please!
@@amandabooth7636 bet u only heard wonderwall🤣😆
Go and have another bowl of lentil soup you hippy 🤣✌🏻
They've got to believe there the best band in the world before anyone else can
From 95 to 2000 they were honestly
At least in UK
Oasis were as big as they were because of the time music was changing for the better and they and blur were at the top of it it was a great time to be young and in Britain
Steve Grimes true dat
The bassist from Blur saying Wonderwall was their finest moment is such a dig. Well played cheese merchant. 👏🏻
Alex James. It wasn't a dig at all either. He was just acknowledging what a great song Wonderwall was.
@@TequilaToothpick I'm well aware of who Alex James is mate. It was a proper dig.
Jay z looks like a toddler who's dressed up in his granddad's clothes
Danjones197869 spot on mate. If only his music was as good as a toddlers.
What about big pimpin bentleycabins? That song is full of philosophical content, really sends me deep inside my soul and makes me question the nature of all things. The lyrics really speak to me ya know
"Uh, uh uh uh
It's big pimpin baby
It's big pimpin, spendin G's
Feel me uh-huh uhh, uh-huh
Ge-ge-geyeah, geyeah
Ge-ge-geyeah, geyeah"
Danjones197869 ok bigpimpin aside which is clearly a classic of our times I'm not that taken with his music.
really? i just thought he looked like a twat
Lol
Phil Collins surprised me, he seems like a smart enough dude but didnt seem to realise that the Gallagher brothers dont really care much about what they say, they just say things for the sake of saying things. He shouldn't really be taking it to heart when he is as successful as he is.
I think George Harrison is allowed to say what he thinks, but in this case it was kinda rude and mean, because he definitely knew that he was Liam's idol and that his words would hurt his feelings.
He didn't even have to lie about it, just being quiet would have been enough.
George has always been and probably is the most critical to Beatles fans, he was the one who suggested that they stopped touring cause he was sick of it all. I think George felt that liam was using the Beatles look and influence in a completly wrong way.
Who knows maybe George changed his opinion after he said that
Yea, but he was right. Noel was the talent.
Your answer is symptomatic of why rock is dead.
@@MyDyerMaker I don't think putting people down is rock.
Oasis were just amazing. I know they can be cocky and rude sometimes (Liam in particular) but isn’t that really their charm?
Unpopular opinion: Wonderwall is one of my least preferred tracks from their entire incredible catalogue 🤷♂️
Agreed. Wonderwall is great but there are other tunes that are better from their catalogue
@@ningsangjembawalling3096 Supersonic & Live Forever are my faves.
@@Chris_34 nice choices. They're amazing. For me slide away and she's electric as well as waiting for the rapture is very good but they have a very good catalogue of songs . All of it is very amazing

Liam is my favorite. He's more upfront than Noel which is more admirable. He's an asshole and he doesn't pretend not to be. Noel is outwardly egotistical and arrogant, but he really tries to act like he did nothing wrong and tries to blame Liam for everything.
If Dave fucking Grohl tells you that you should get your band back together, you should get your band back together.
Unless you’re Oasis obviously
Why ?
Easy for him to say
Phil Collins' music is grocery store, "waiting in line at the deli" or "on hold" music.
You don't hear Phil Collins when you're out enjoying a grand time. You hear Phil Collins when you wanna GTFO of wherever you are and go home. It's there as not only a reminder, but also an extra incentive for you to leave.
I don't recall ever hearing Oasis at the mundane grocery store, in elevators, or while waiting for medical procedures.
Phil Collins is here for that.
“Uber music” what I call it
"what's the dumbest question you've ever been asked?"
bit rhetorical, no?
Just to point out, you know when you're in your editing software - you can adjust the volume of each clip individually. It's really not hard, and you can do it in any editing software - how about not having really quiet clips of people speaking and then super loud music clips. It's really not hard.
Absolutely love oasis and blink 182. Wish laim had of spoken to Tom more about blink at that show
dave grohl is so nice he's like alice cooper
“Membuh?” “yeah I membuh” I love the Leicester accent!
George Harrison was a savage 🤣
The thing that gets me is...where is Paul "Guigsey" Mcguigan (sorry if i spelt the second name wrong) on this. He was part of the band
Barney7535 He is never seen in public or in interviews anymore so there’s no clips of him
Apparently he's very anti-fame
Even at the height of their fame, Guigsy almost never spoke. It was even sort of a joke amongst/about the band, like he was a "Silent Bob" type figure, which went along with Noel downplaying the rhythm section in general (until their 'return to form' around 05, after which a lot of Oasis songs started featuring massive percussion grooves)
Hes always stoned
Missed the greatest comment: A young Pete Doherty of the libertines in line for their album
next to the Beatles, Oasis is really my favourite band of all time. There are a lot of great bands out there and i love them but Oasis and The Beatles really hits differently so when George said that to Liam, I am very sad bc they are both from the band that i love the most. man, it's so sadd. i really feel bad for Liam since he also look up for the Beatles. :((
Oasis is one of the best rock bands in History. Noel is the best song writer and Liam is the best raspy rock singer we have.
Bruv can’t diss John Lennon like that
Asking Kasabian, one of whom is literally cosplaying as Liam, if Oasis is important to them.
If Dave Grohl wants a reunion, we NEED a reunion
The music in between the speaking is really loud, and the dialogue is really quiet. Though I did enjoy the video
Dude,I just had to go into my hobby room bcos my husband said it was too loud😂
What year did Tom Delonge's anecdote take place?
He says they weren't big yet, and the show/festival is in England right? so maybe sometime around 1996 or 1997?
simonorwell Blink didn’t really hit it big outside of US or Australia until 1999 when Enema of the State was released.
Kasbian giving Liam respect to hell, and when I go to Knebworth and seeing Liam plus oasis plus kasabian back in day same concert is gonna be special, gives chills
If the word butthurt was a person it would look like Phill Colins
You mean "rich, successful & butthurt?"
Collins is a legend and twice the musician as anyone in Oasis; and I love Oasis, probably more than Phil Collins' music.

OASIS FOREVER ,please reunite
kevin g judging the relationship of Noel and Liam, probably not going to happen
Oasis were more punk than blink 182 ever will be
Neither were punk. Oasis were derivative music, signed to a big label. Played off the legacy of the Stone Roses, Beatles, Pistols.
P S isn't most music derivative?
Name one punk band that wasn't derivative.
Robert Davis Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, The Exploited, The Sex Pistols, Rancid.
No.
Funny how I suddenly got a lot more respect for the Blur guy's. Quite impressive to be able to be so honest 👌
Daniel Danicon i think Damian just got tired of having to keep the battle going. Personally I think Oasis has nothing on Blur, but Damian is probably right about the communication thing because Oasis were authentic in their opinions (as stupid as they may be)
Fair play to Blur their honesty is mint. I liked that.
Kasabian coked up 😂😂
duke mick innit
'I saw him in a tracksuit and then... I wore a tracksuit'... I love kasabian
Watch out ladies
They held the top spot on the planet for a couple years at least, back in 95-96. Very few groups can say that. They weren't as good as the Beatles who they idolized, but they put on a better live show than the Beatles ever did
They will get back together. Come back and like this post when they do.
What was the Sergio guy from Kasabian on?
And he looks older, too.
Trying to hard to be like Liam. Sucking him off, pretty embarrassing.
I know - he was fucked, wasn't he? That microphone was shaking all over the place, he couldn't hold it properly. I think he might have run out of crack.

Im a huge kasabian fan and saw a bunch of interviews with sergio but never saw him like that...
Tony Bates cant believe they ran out of crack! Lol

Albarn is just being modest or self critical. Notice how long it takes him to make up a reason why they were better. Blur is a superior band. They actually changed and didn't continue to play basically the same song over and over.
