Competition entry: I have always been drawn to Alberta, Canada. I love nature. Nancy Freedman's book Mrs Mike primarily took place in Alberta. This is one of my favorite books, and it left a deep impression on me as a teenager. It takes place in the early 20th century and describes the beauty and hardships of life in the Canadian wilderness. I would love a consultation with your team. I am a mother of 4 kids with autism. I’ve wanted to go back to school for years but have been intimidated with the idea of starting from scratch, being that it has been many years since I was last in school. (I graduated highschool in the late 1990’s) I came across your channel last year. It’s been inspiring and eye opening. I especially enjoy the interviews you share with older students and parents.
I would love to win a consultation! I am using your advice and watching all your videos to set myself up for success. I am focused on getting a degree because I've worked for the same company for 20 years and they're making it harder and harder to get a promotion without the degree. They don't even care what the degree is, they just want to say their workforce is degreed. As a single mom, every dollar counts and saving time and money is definitely a goal. I most identify with WA state, as a lover of nature.
Competition entry: Great video as always, the territory in my region that I most identify with in my country is Antioquia (Colombia), it is mostly rugged and mountainous, but has a little bit of everything from the sea to the sky, making it quiet but full of intrigue. This consultation would be very valuable for me as I am struggling to find reliable information on gaining appropriate qualifications for the field I would like to work in. I want to work as a mainframe developer but finding the right qualifications from the right schools is proving difficult and I could really use some professional help finding the best options for my specific case.
Winning a consultation would mean a lot and help me get the degree I need to further my career in Health Administration. I’ve gone to community college but now that I have a family it hasn’t been easy to get back to school but learning and watching your videos has helped and put more excitement into getting back so I finally earn my degree and further my career. I identify as the state of Hawaii because people always say I’m patient, calm, full of wisdom and no matter the storm there’s always a rainbow at the other side. I don’t let a bad situation ruin my day we just learn and move forward. Good luck to all the entries!!
Thank you so much for this page. I started UMPI 10/23 with 45 transfer credits and used all your tips. Now I have a degree in History/Political Science. Graduated 8/24. Less than a year is amazing.
I just found your channel after my son told me about it! I would love a consultation with your team. My middle and high school years were in a cult environment where I received a practical skill-based education but not an academic one. After getting married as a teen and starting a family, I eventually changed my views on education and left the fundamentalist beliefs that discouraged anything other than homemaking. Now, at 42 and a grandmother, I want to finally pursue the educational choices I never had as a young adult! I’ve taken two writing classes at a community college and am interested in a creative writing or english degree. My long-term goal is to write and publish a memoir. I think the state or states I most identify with is FL or any state bordering the ocean! I love the sand, salty air and roar of the waves which are always so freeing for me. Thanks for the amazing and informative videos!
Hey guys, recently found your channel and love it! I've recently seen some aditional changes to UMPI's BBA Mgmt/leadership due to the new academic catalog 2024/25. How much does that affects our ability to really hack it?(considering cost/time) In fact, I'm quite torn between going to UMPI as it seems to be the cheapest/most hackable or Purdue as it's also hackable and has a better name under its belt. Thoughts? (i'm international so my options are limited)
So far we are seeing the old plans still being used at UMPI. If you apply and get accepted while they are still using the old plan, you’re on that plan. If you apply after they enforce the changes, you’re stuck on that plan. Looks like the new plans require 2-3 more classes at UMPI than the old (current) plan. Purdue Global is a good brand name for employers who don’t know it’s different from Purdue University. But Google “Purdue $128 million” and read the article about their debt to Kaplan. This may or may not lead to a rebranding of Purdue Global to something else. Would be a shame to pay double for that brand name then have it discontinued.
Competition entry: I’m a retired USAF veteran planning to go college. The ultimate goal is a Masters degree since I believe teaching is probably a good secondary career to take me into my old age. My focus is the Aviation programs at LUO. I have done some research and they to seem have a very good reputation. I was an enlisted military aviator , I have an Aviation AAS, and an FAA Airman’s cert. I did watch one video of a young lady that achieved up to her Masters in Aviation Leadership (do you recall?) I want to achieve this in a relatively short amount of time. Can you assist so that I’m not wasting any time or effort? Also a couple of ideas I need confirmed and other details to share. Thanks guys, great YT Chanel
Consultation would be amazing. Used va benefits after getting it is the army. Got my aa and a little but of bachelor. Had some physical and mental health issues disrupt that. Now I'm in a better place and my employer offers tuition reimbursement and has a thing with purdue global. I'm going to look into starting bank after the new year. Knowing the most efficient way to get this done would literally be worth more than any dollar amount to me. Plan is to finish business degree with specialized in supply chain to move into a job at my company in that. I might then do umpi master degree. I'm 50 and trying to be a good example for my kids.
I want to do a consultation with you but don’t feel I need a full 2 sessions. Is there another option? I’m trying to figure out how to gain 60 credits so that I can apply to Traditional Chinese Medicine school. Would I be able to gain 60 Sophia credits, transfer them to a university degree program, immediately drop out of the program, and show the acupuncture school that I have 60 college credits?! Love this channel!
Thanks for your kind words! When you apply to a grad program they will see the original sources of your credit, so having the transcripts come from a university won’t disguise them. Plus, most medicine programs will require residential sciences and won’t accept online, so if you haven’t already checked with the school I would start there :) Email team@flexedbenefits.net for a single session sign up link, we’d love to help.
Do you know if Sophia Microbiology will transfer to TESU for one of the Gen ed science course requirements? (Going for the A.S. in Mathematics) 😊 Also, that degree transfers in really well! I can get up to 45 credits in if I use both Sophia and Study. 👌 The Biology one isn't too bad either, just a few courses less. Didn't check computer science personally.
TESU doesn’t usually accept Sophia for core requirements. If you’re not already applied and accepted with the ability to ask an advisor, highly recommend :)
I identify with Southern California because that is all I have ever known lol Thanks for your videos; I am done with my associates and am looking to get a bachelors in Computer Science.
Do you recommend hacking a degree if you have a blue collar job? I’m a mailman, and there are plenty of days where I have to work beyond my shift, up to 12 hours in a day.
We do help a lot of people transition out of more physical work as they get older. Whether it’s the right choice for you at this moment in life is up to you!

TESU has the Associates, you'd need some RA credits. You'd need the cornerstone for any TESU degree, and there are a few TESU associates without a capstone. @@CollegeHacked I only remember cause it is one of the few sources listed if you want to transfer in discrete mathematics. @@CollegeHacked I also just looked up the AA thing with TESU, and the AA General Studies can be entirely transferred in save for the information literacy. Not really a hackable major. To be hackable at least some of the needed classes have to be offered on hacking platforms or via exam. Then at the same time, someone trying to go that direction is likely going to need the sciences residentially in order to get a meaningful job/grad program acceptance after the degree so hacking it would drain the value anyway.

Unfortunately not. The only parts of those majors that can be hacked are some general education and the free electives (which are generally pretty limited in those majors anyway) so they will take longer than one year.
