These are all fairly simple, but very effective. Just wanted to mention, the longer one does these (ie months/years),the more depth the practices may reveal.....often the most beginning practices are also the most advanced.....best wishes. Thanks for posting these!
Love this. I have osteopososis in my hips and osteopenia in my spine. I am very active but smoked for years (who knew it was bad for bones!?) and was on traditional meds for 6 months and went off beacse of side effects. I discovered qigong about a year ago and love it. I am determined to target bone growth and love this video. Thank you. Excellent instruction too!
hi, question about osteoporosis (i have in the spine) i was wondering with the 2nd to last exercise where one bend down to the toes? is this okay for osteo? thanks and i love your video.
I’m not an expert but suffer from the same syndrome…from what I’ve learned, sometimes bending over like that can irritate the nerves, depending on one’s particular condition(s). If it makes your back feel worse, don’t do it!
the first exercise is the dantien energy packer. they do it mainly at the end, after static pile-pillar exercises. To concentrate all the energy in the dantien. So that the remnants of energy do not remain in the head or in other parts of the body.
Thanks a lot for those exercises. Dr. have discovered a problem on one of my kidnees, for the moment they don't know what the problem is, but I'm doing Qigong exercises and for sure I will have a lot of benefits of it! I'm practising Tai Chi, for sure in combination with Qigong it will do a lot of good!!! Thanks Dr. Lim Greetings from Belgium!
Thank you, Rossana! Best wishes for your health, and I hope you continue to enjoy this practice. More to come (once I have time to actually do another video. Hopefully soon)!
Thank you, Dr Lim. I was looking for this!!-especially for the kidneys and osteoporosis. Im practicing your wonderful routine! I am grateful to you for t his
This is such a wonderful and comprehensive video, thank you so much. I’ve practised this sequence a few times and it helps me feel calm, centred and quietly energised!
Hola , Buen dia muy contenta de haber encontrado estas clases, mis felicitaciones a la Dra.Instructora. Solicitarles muy respetuosamente que haya una traduccion en español por favor. Muchas gracias.
I love this routine with Dr. Lim. It's relaxing and leaves me feeling strong and resilient. I appreciate the Dan Tien exercises. All of these routines have been valuable to me. Thank you!
I have been practicing Qigong for many years having learned from a Chinese master from Beijing in Chinese, This master is also a TCM doctor. We learned 八段锦 五禽戏 etc and many forms of 太极拳。 阴阳 Is and important concept of TCM each opposing and complementary aspect is present in both males and females, so Qigong is alternatively aimed at one and the other in both males and females.
It's very clear and well presented so big thumbs up for that .... I was puzzled by the description of the last position , palms on Dan Tian , I've been practicing Chi Kung for a very long time and it's the first time I've heard women left hand first on Dan Tian covered by the right . By my understanding that is for men , women should do exactly the reverse , i.e. right palm first .... or am I wrong about this ? Would be strange since I've heard and read this more times than i can count
Very good. I would prefer more up beat pop music with this exercise! Create more energy while doing it. Just my opinion but great style. I am just learning but I follow counting Lin! Mainly because he is a healer and has much success. People like myself are needing healing and that’s why I am looking in qigong!! Good day.
Thanks for this. Any recommendations for the brocade section. At present it doesn't feel safe in my body to keep bending down and rising up like that. Any other way I can work into the back of legs without the forward fold bend 🙏
hi Dr LIm, I just discovered you here on youtube, I really enjoyed this video and I also so much appreciate the way your teach and explain everything in simple ways... I thought I'd write you to get some guidance or feedback. I've had chronic hiccups for over 30 years. I've seen different practioners and doctors and ancient medicine practices to help me but so far nothing has helped. I still get the hiccups for several hours a day...Dr. Lim are there any qi gong exercises or breathing exercises that can help remedy my condition... It's a very aggravating and frustrating thing to keep occuring and for so many years.... thank you for your time and consideration..... I will continue to follow your teachings here, namaste, peace, Mark PInkus
Thank you! Did this cause of perimenopausal symptoms. But at the end I’m very confused cause I learned with different grandmasters and masters and they all teached me to bring right hand on dantien, then left over right as a woman… Is this a different form of Qigong than teached in China?…
These are all fairly simple, but very effective.
