Not sure I would call it affordable. With shipping, the first core set cost me nearly $400 aud. It does look good though and I’m looking forward to playing on it.
My friends and I want to get the original set with the expansion but I cannot find a way to purchase the Cathedral expansion. Is this sold out? If so when will it be back in stock?
Do you guys think it’s viable to make a cheaper box that just has small pieces without the tiles? Like shipping containers, little make shift habs, barricades and what not? Would be great to add some extra terrain in between the buildings and still keep the whole board looking uniform.
I have 2 concerns. There are only right angles. I think having some odd angles can really make a game interesting. Also, it can’t really be used for kill team. Only two pieces of terrain don’t make for a good game of Kill Team.
Looks incredible and the artistic proccess is very interesting. However I come from a generation that used aquarium decorations as terrain, so to me the words ¨affordable terrain¨have a different meaning XD. Good luck though, although you are not going to need it ;)
@@ericsmith9212 for well designed, pretty, reasonably durable, easily stored terrain that provides modular options to set up a nice 40k battlefield? Yeah. Where else are you finding something that fits those requirements for anywhere close?
Dont forget it is also for busy people who dont have the time to do that. You can certainly make a cheaper board but time is not something everyone has available to them
For an entire table's worth of terrain that fits in a board game sized box, and comes pre painted? Where are you finding that much plastic for that price?
Chuckled at the list of people who helped with the product, and then Bridger showing up as "Moral Support"
Every team needs one!
Such a nice product. I would love to see a John Blanche version, amazing artwork bring to life in 3D by Titans terrain.

Just Got the over grown capital set.
Outstanding!
Used it for 40k and AOS
But also works good with Marvel crisis protocol and Star wars shatterpoint.
Great behind the scenes look. Love my copy of overgrown, certainly got me playing at home a lot faster than trying to collect plastic terrain.
Thanks! So glad to hear it!

We are playing with the viability of this for our next go around!
@@TabletopTitans that would be great! Plus it would create a easier entry point for people to get hooked.
When these are actually available I will grab one a set. Next summer or whatever.
yeah, really looking forward to the full launch but gonna wait until then. Already got the first set though, and can stand by it.
We are looking at a Spring release!
Cool will keep an ear out and grab one when they are available@@TabletopTitans
squares of a foot would have been nice since Horus Heresy and other games’ tables could have been made readily.
would love these to be made available in the UK
Wildly neat!!!
I’m trying to buy a box but idk where to different websites ?! I need help

The half tiles in the expansion, or folding the flat board in half, help a lot with thT
Half tiles allow you to offset any lanes you get so I highly recommend picking the expansion up
Im sad i could never get the cathedral expansion as its gone now
Looks awesome.

Excellent product. Much needed.
Thank you!
If a table isn’t at least 44x60, would the tiles fall off or do they connect together?
They do not connect to each other
They dont connect to each other so you wont want to overhang too much. Good question!
Now we only need a version which is compatible to WTC 😅
Art 🤩
Little plastic (or wood) connectors to keep the tiles together and from moving on the table might be useful...
We have played with it, there were issues with longevity of the connectors on the tiles, its a good thought though
How many takes did you need to not call him LIIUUUUUMMM?
Haha it was incredibly difficult
I don't know you just don't get the texture you get from a full board. Also I think making terrain might be my favorite part of the hobby overall.
Oh they are certainly not the same, this is to help out with time, space, and money

We miss him!

I kinda get it. But im sorry . It looks so janky.
Hey its all good it's not for you
It's such an awesome product that you don't use it on your own battle reports.
I think you'll find we play it quite often on the channel, check it out :)
overpriced af for cardboard terrain. You get the same ammount of plastic, even wooden, terrain for that price
Where?
Would love to see!
Overpriced,over hyped. Not worth it.
You may not be the target customer, but that doesn't make it a bad product.
I got the original set, and it's BRILLIANT for it's market.
@@luckyskaven13 $140 for cardboard?! Guess I am not the target customer thankfully!

I'm not buying paper for the same price as plastic. $124 for paper. U must be outta your minds.

Expensive cardboard
As an MTG player, what else is new?
