LTL's are really cool looking trucks. Amazing that one doesn't have rotted rockers or door bottoms. Must not have done much winter work. Drove an 86 LN that had that same interior package in it. Old iron is the best!
The roofs our biggest issue with rust, and that's awesome man, I love these interiors
woo woo classic ford 9000 use to work on those an the R models no disrepect both rode hard but u could not tear em up run forever. hail to the classics

Get some of that flexseal spray from inside the cab will stop those leaks
@@carldrexler7883 for an immediate fix we used some clear silicone but planning on welding back closed to try and preserve the roof a little longer

@@Only4Trucks Old iron is where it's at brother. I have the pleasure of driving a 84 pete 359 ext. hood everyday running coast to coast heavy haul, that was my pops. He bought it brand new in 84 and I've been running it for 15 years now after restoring it. Almost 4 million miles on her and still running strong. Sat for almost 10 years before I put her back to work. I call her my mistress because that's where all my money goes and I love being inside her lol. Just don't make them like that anymore!

A suggestion/request: the audio of your voice is always soft, the music you add is very loud. Could you use your audio settings to make your voice the loudest audio in the video? People want to hear you and your words, not the music. Search 'how to equalize/normalize audio levels in youtube videos' there are many ways of doing this. Thank you.
Oh, in your first video there was copyrighted music owned by some company, on RUclips you can do that if you have no subscribers, if you have subscribers, the music company's Bots monitor most RUclips audio tracks, they will give you a copyright strike and de-monetize your videos automatically. Beward using music you recognize.

I drove a 9000 AeroMax with a 10-speed for about a year. It was not my favorite truck to drive.
Just curious what are the spec's on the LTL9000? 10Spd, 350 or 400 BC ll,and a 38K Hendrickson Tandem???
Ntc350 big cam with a 9 speed Eaton and unfortunately I don't know the gears but I would assume 38k Hendrickson spring

love those old ltl's, My dad used to drive an L8000 and International 4900 delivering propane. If there was any truck I'd love to run or restore it's definitely a Louisville. Not to be intrusive but is 20/20 a big family operation or do you just work for them?
Not intruding at all and maybe one day I'll make a video explaining how it call came to be! And he is a good friend of mine owns the company, I work for him, but we're practically brothers. We have a real close relationship and we work well together. It's an amazing relationship, an amazing job as well.
What a beautiful rig you got there my friend! In fact I've got a name for this one: Lacey! What do you think? What engine and transmission is Lacey running? Now, I'd love it if you could do a completely unedited ASMR style driving video on Lacey and the 85 R Model Mack, beginning with engine startup and ending with engine shutdown. Make sure the windows are down and you shift at high RPM's, so I can hear those engines and exhaust sounds! I'd love both ASMR's to be as long as possible. Please let me know ASAP.
Lacey, I might be able to work with that lol and it's a 350 Cummins with a 9 speed. I can't believe I forgot to mention that. And I could make both of those videos for you!

@@Only4Trucks ASMR is a feeling you get from listening to a certain sound, and it helps people sleep, study, relax, etc. Remember, when you do the ASMR videos on Lacey and the Mack, make sure to begin each one with engine startup, shift at high RPM's, and end the videos with engine shutdown, make sure the windows are down so I can hear that exhaust, and make them as long as possible, completely unedited. Please let me know if you have any further questions, and I'm looking forward to the ASMR videos on Lacey and the Mack in a couple weeks!

What is the hood ornament on the Ford ? I came back to watch here but it's not too clear what it is.
I like the videos but PLEASE turn the music down...listen to you talk and the sudden BLARING music is frustrating to me and those in the room with me.
I have changed that moving forward i apologize . I didn't know the music was so loud at first my editing software had screwed me up. But the newer videos and moving forward should be good
