"Front and rear Suggestions" Love it.
I own a very early model bushmaster that was supposed to be in the gun trials. Receacer bolt is on top like a uzi
Thank you for keeping History alive please don't ever stop . God Bless
...I remember seeing these at gun shows all round So. Florida in the late 80s & early 90s...
Keep em in the ten ring
Air Force Pilots were issued S&W Model 15s, typically with the 2-inch barrel during the Vietnam War as that was the standard sidearm for the Air Force, along with the 4 inch barrel! They were replaced by the Beretta M9 and now phasing in the Sig M17/18🇺🇸
Didn't some pilots carry .45 cal 1911?
@@user-lr3qm7fd5d
Not that was authorized by the USAF! I spent over 25 years in the Air Force, and the Smith was the only sidearm issued until the Beretta became a standard issue around 1985!✌️
Thanks, Enjoyed the walk down POJ memory lane, I bought one New in 1986, Jammamatic until the frame broke after 300 tds.
Wow, that's really incredible. I learned alot, now let's see it in action.
First time viewer............ GREAT STUFF!
Thanks for the info as I always wondered about this gun.
Have one of the Bushmasters. Such an odd beast. First time I fired it, I shot the hell out of the target stand. It's very odd trying to sight with this thing. I always thought this is one of the few times that mounting a laser might actually make sense.
That’s the. One , Hiking biking fishing and camping ,
Cool history of bushmaster
They shrunk the 5.56 round to fit in that little thing. Laughs in ar-15 chambered in 5.56 with a 3” barrel. Lol
So cool
Had one of the Guinn rifles circa mid/late 1970's, had blonde maple furniture. Didn't like it, as the wood stood out like a sore thumb. So I spray painted it, flat back,
When I traded into it, the gunshop experts said that I got screwed. As it wouldn't function. They were wrong as it worked OK, as long as I used factory ammo. Reloads were another story, had to use "small base" sizeing dies to get loaded brass to function. Goes to show you, that a lot of the gunshop commandos, don't know their sphincter from a hole in the ground.
Cool
Lazer sight would make a good sight
This would've been a decent design if they had just utilized a telescopic stock and gotten rid of the swiveling grip.
Never had a bushmaster heard good things about them
spray & pray - modern use? trench clearing?
Wouldn't it need some kind of hand guard so you dont burn the hell out of your hand if your actually having to use it
Phased plasma weapon in the 40 Watt range ?
Wrong.... What ? Balistic projectile based.
All this really lacks is some sort of folding or collapseable stock and tweaking to make it viable.
I copied this design and I didn't know about this weapon.
VZ61 was far earlier than this. This may be rifle caliber, but it's not the first "PDW"
That should be a SMG/machine pistol-PCC if it has a stock
Colt Commando Is Almost The Same Size 😇😇😇
The commando is the shit and I don't like ar's
@@joshuahawkins2743 Agreed 👍🏼
Waffenposselhaft.
whats that supposed to imply?
@@utley Posselhaft = farcical, without practical purpose.
Waffenposselhaft was coined by Colonel Cooper to categorize firearms that were cute but stupid.
As a semi-auto, this fits the category perfectly. As a full-auto, the shooter could at least walk the impacts toward the intended target . . .and might even get there before running the magazine dry.
This status might be attenuated somewhat by mounting a laser on it. If I still had the one I had in the 1980s (got on a swap), I would try that, just to see, but the FN P90 platform is far superior.
@@SoloPilot6 yeah the translation doesnt really do it justification, thats why I felt the need to ask!
Cool
