Hi Arnie! Thank you for all the recipes! I love TexMex food more than any other and your videos have made it possible for me to bring it into my own kitchen.
I have a question about the Made In brand cookware you use. The instructions say that cooking acidic foods like tomatoes, re-seasoning is necessary. Do you find this to be true? I just received my first set of Made In pans and I'm very anxious to cook your chilaquiles!
I was born in McAllen, wished i coulda met a man that can cook like you, miss el Valle! If you ever make it to centri tejas, holla...i would give my # but wierdos, ,,,i think you're cool tho
Dude, I'm from germany and we have a lot of mexican restasurants, but after seeing a lot of yout videos I noticed they are not very authentic. Your food looks amazing and I'd love eating some REAL mexican food. Greetings from south germany.
I'm from Texas and I couldn't believe how bad the Mexican food was when I lived in the UK. If you can get your hands on the ingredients (which I know probably isn't easy in Germany) it's really not hard to make! And oh god is it worth it.
I'm from America, and I was in Lower Saxony about a year ago and got some nachos at this one place... These "nachos" were more like chips and salsa, and the salsa was basically like ketchup (the tortilla chips had NOTHING on top of them)... I was very disappointed, but some of the other German foods I had when I was there was great :)
Authentic mexican food is very rare in germany, but you can find most of the ingredients, sometimes in specialized stores....its just really hart to find corn tortillas, its all wheat here 😅
ArnieTex + Cowboy Kent let’s make it happen
I would really love to see this. Kent and Arnie are 2 of my favorites.
That would be awesome!
yes!!!!! cook off time!!!
@@tannermarlow5162north and south Texas come together to make bomb food
Definitely
How funny, I'm watching this video with my lunch and guess what I made....yep, chilaquiles! Believe it or not, I only had them for the first time last year. Now, they're in regular rotation. I still remember the first bite I took of them. The taste instantly reminded me of my childhood somehow, even though I'd never had them before. I think that's a sign of true 'comfort food'!
I was at a Holiday Inn in Mexico, the breakfast buffet had these, I had no idea wtf they were and left them. THen I found out what they actually are at a restaurant and now I want them all the time for breakfast. Truly comfort food, and nothing extraordinary just delicious
This is hands down the best cooking channel for mexican food!
This will sound boujee but I had chilaquiles just like this for brunch topped with caviar and mango mimosas to drink. It elevated a comfort food from my childhood! 😊
Black bean comment cracked me up.. I married a Cuban. Yea, I was introduced to black beans from the get go, and it was crazy to a born and raised Texas boy. Now? Love me some black beans!
there no other youtube cook that puts more love into his dishes, than you. I love mexican food and it would be so awsome to hang out with you cooking, and ejoying a few cold beers. All the best to you.
As always, thank you for sharing your techniques with us.
I started following you about the same time you began working with Made In products.
I bought the large carbon steel skillet using your link. Especially like it because it's not as heavy as all the pans in my cast iron collection
Gracias
Such yummy delicious looking chilaquiles i ever seen. ❤
I love to see your videos when I order chilaquiles they look like migas with cheese and seranos.
I'm new to the Arnie party, but I've been waiting all week to make this today - so I can give it the love and attention it deserves. 😋🤤 Perfect pick me up for a cold, wet day.
It's rare for me that the 1st 30 seconds of a food video makes my mouth water, but this did it

I've been trying to decide what cookware to get, thank you!
Such a good dish but you know what is blowing my mind right now? These kinda remind me of a Tunisian breakfast dish called Shakshuka. Yeah, I know the ingredients differ BUT the basic elements are there. I'm off to the fusion lab to create! Thanks for the inspiration.
This looks delicious, always impressed with your cooking and your kickass moustache.

Hey Arnie do you think it would be a good idea flavor wise to swap out the cup of water with a cup of cervesa?
Maybe in 100 years smart phones will allow people to smell food like this through some new technology 🤤🤤
Incredible
They were delicious❤❤❤❤❤
What’s best brand of tortillas for those of us who can’t make them?
Yumm
Yum, what’s the creama? Where can I get that???
I’m about to go grocery. 😊
I like watching you
Will this dish work if you poach the egg in the sauce like a shackshucka, or will the chips get too soggy?
You cook like my mom.
i love youtube algorithm
🤤
Migas is a soup where im from
i kinda think chilaquiles are like mexican fried rice. use day old tortillas, fry them up, and use whatever leftovers you got in the fridge!
Beautiful presentation.

I need clearer identification of the chilis!! This looks so FAB!! But the flavor is in the chilis!!

When a RUclipsr gets a lot of followers, their content turns into advertisements.
Arnie, I know queso fresco is fresh cheese, but what cheese it actually is? Is it something like Italian provolone? Comes from cow or sheep? What would be the European version? and what’s la crema? Is it a sour cream? Thanks
1. The commonly suggested alternatives to queso fresco seem to be feta, paneer, halloumi, and 'quark'. French fromage blanc might also work, and it might be worth looking at any Spanish or Portuguese fresh white cheese online or at a large grocer. Cow milk and cow/goat milk together are the common basic ingredient. The key characteristics are that it should be pressed to be firm and low moisture but not dry, it should crumble, and it shouldn't melt on the dish.
It's also the sort of quick cheese that could be made at home, apparently.
2. Crema is a kind of sour cream, yes. It's higher fat and thinner in consistency, so it drizzles nicely. Sour cream is plenty fine, but it appears that creme fraiche is a good substitute, and can be cut to be thinner with a little lime juice.
You are a national treasure my dude! ❤
Good job once again you set to mood for me and my dad meeting up this morning for a Mexican breakfast God bless you and your family Arnie have a great day 🔱🙌🙏👍
Nice video, great representation of the famous chilaquilas, also the Arnie Shuffle, gotta love it.
Bro, I need this video like four hours earlier. So I can make this for my employees tomorrow morning.
Can I work for you!
Looks delish!
So money! You're right nothing beats frying your own chips, they seem to absorb and hold on to the sauce better. Gracias!
My favorite right here! I love this stuff! Gringo in S Texas born and raised!
I’m a complete novice to Mexican cooking, so I’m grateful I found this channel. I appreciate the step by step instructions and the way this chef describes his way of thinking about food.
Even though I’ve got 30 years of home cooking experience, I know I have so much to learn. I’ve focused on Indian, Japanese, and Middle Eastern cuisines in the past, and now I’m looking forward to learning how to make decent Mexican food as well.
That looks amazing! Wish I had the ingredients. I would make them right now! Thanks!
OMG, I'm salivating, too. I'll bet it smells crazy yummy. I do have to pass on the onions and eggs. 🤤 🤤 🤤 😋 😋 😋
I love a chilaquiles that aren't drowning in yellow cheese like most restaurants make them now.
Dios le bendiga señor, cocina genial y parece un buen hombre, espero que triunfe con su canal 🙏🤍
Can you show how to make green chili beef?
Love your channel!
Man your food is so mouth watering 😊
looks so delicious, i would kiss it xD
So frustrated. This is just a video shilling this cookware. Not even a recipe anywhere. Just MORE shilling kitchen junk. What a shame. I would love to cook this, but I’ll look elsewhere. And I don’t need expensive new cookware to do it. Neither do you.
I usually despise this meal but wow you made me crave some .
where can I find the recipe?
I’ve been waiting for this video!!
