Only one garlic set I planted in the fall survived the weird winter-spring season, BUT, that one had a scape and today I harvested it! Never heard of this until recently, and now I can join the scape-club!
Your Asian food looks really yummy I froze my garlic escapes from last year I really did not know what to use them in I well have to try them in a Asian stir that's a good Idea
Question, why did you let the Scapes get so developed? I was able to identify my hard neck scapes way earlier so I'm wondering why you let them get so far along. Great video by the way.

aww :/ glad you got one to try at least!
Looks so good! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to more delicious recipes and harvests.
Love that idea for cooking them up like that!! I may have to try that
very interesting really enjoyed this video
There's a cost to harvesting scapes. You can get a 30 to 40% larger sized garlic bulb if you remove scapes as soon as they appear.
Execelente video
Looks yummy! I’m in Oregon and still waiting on the scapes to grow.

we like to let them grow for a bit so we can harvest and eat them. but if you don’t plan on eating them, you can cut them off sooner
You already have scapes. What zone are you in ?. I'm in Michigan 6b and I don't have them yet.
we’re in zone 7a
