Would have been nice to hear about the soreness back in spring. But this is great news, best possible outcome for him. Internal brace should be able to get back for spring 25.
@@enclave9614 My bf? Wtf are you talking about 🤡? I don’t give two shts about Trevor Bauer, but he’s a good pitcher and had probably learned to have some humility this time around. Suck a d….
How can they now have now MRIs in the Spring. These players are worth tens of millions of dollars. Players have to speak up when they feel something. No excuse to go into a season knowing you have been feeling pain and not doing something.
Yeah, I was wondering about that. Hard to put myself in his shoes, but I'd guess it was sheer hope on his end that it would just go away with repetition. Hindsight is always 20/20.
We need to stop doing the archaic practice of having clubbies rub baseballs up with 'special' mud from the Deleware river. It is inconsistent, doesn't achieve a damn thing aside from color, and doesn't provide grip. The KBO and Nippon I believe have a light adhesive that is uniformly applied to the baseballs in factory that allows pitchers to get a better grip on the ball. That practice should be implimented in MLB yesterday!!! It removes the spider tack issue while allowing the pitchers to grip the ball normally rather than the death grip that Tyler Glasnow was referring to.
Spencer is my guy but I have to disagree with him on velocity and spin rate. There’s a direct correlation to the huge spike in pitcher injuries and the rise/obsession with analytics concerning pitchers with those two things. If you go 110% as a SP you can’t possibly expect your arm to hold up. It’s about as close to an absolute probability as it can be that your arm/shoulder/elbow WILL give out on you. It’s just a matter of time.
@@JaneDoey I do actually because it was said in this video. It was a bone chip and the doc said it wasn't caused by anything he did. The ligament itself was in good shape.
@JaneDoey no, as I just said, it was an unfortunate side effect from the 1st surgery. The bone chip would've developed whether he threw a baseball or not. I'm not guessing, just repeating what the Doctor said. If you disagree with him, I don't know what to tell you.🤷
I loved the "we can change your oil or whole engine". Strider is really well spoken. Hoping he comes back as strong as ever

If you 15 pitchers MRIs, you'll find 15 damaged UCLS
Thats what got Wright traded

I thought the same thing, but this particular injury had nothing to do with that.
