    Here checking in. Almost 9 months sober and engaged to the LOVE OF MY LIFE (to clarify definitely not max) our relationship was toxic and codependent from both sides. And we needed each other at the time but we’re NOT MEANT TO BE. Just to clarify for the comments who wanna “ship” me and max back together or some shit. Max is my friend and we are on good terms but it will never be more than that. I’m working to build a life worth living with someone worth living it with. Thank you for your support and to the naysayers you can shit in your hands and clap. Your negativity only motivates me me further 🤘🏻

Amy, Levi … you were so gracious and we thank you. CJ Bell you helped me help him in so many ways and your friendship has always meant so much to him I know. And to all the rehab super heroes especially @ New Origins and Profound Healing I am forever grateful. But his heart, his endurance and resilience is what impresses me the most. • @ohsilveronewithattitude6819
      @ohsilveronewithattitude6819 Год назад +25

      I totally agree. 30 days barely gets them thru the physical addiction. Outpatient is not helpful if you are only 30 days out and have to get a job, along with all the other requirements if your family is not willing to devote their time to help you. The mental pressure is huge. Like u said it took years to get to this addiction journey, not living a normal life in my case, my grandson has no clue how to live a “normal” life. What is a normal life in his mind? Addiction? Of course it is and the struggle continues.

      @@maxkiller2738 i was a bit concerned about the big-ups for 30 days clean when he says he's been clean and relapsed before. of course we'd get shot down for saying so, cos it's so tentative when someone's on this path isn't it? one wrong word at the wrong time and it's back down below zero. so your point about ethically keeping sid's recovery under wraps for at least 6 months is fair. i also got a bit of 'ryan leone' vibes regarding making a thing of his recovery to help others, I feel it's maybe a bit early for that and he's rushing his exposure. how are you now? are you clean? sending good vibes.

    "I'm a scumbag when I'm using" that's such a wonderfully revealing statement. It shows that he's found self-forgiveness, that he takes responsibility for his previous behaviors, and that he's moved forward. A lot of people never move forward because they can't address that they are the bad guy. And if they do, they wallow in it. As someone who's flipped their life around, I can say it happened when i was able to turn the microscope on myself, address what i've done, forgive myself, ask for forgiveness from others, and decide to move forward doing the best that i can from that point forward

      I’m a dilaudid addict for about the last 20 years. I had them “sold” to me by my doctor and was on it for a bunch of years and then Canada did the same thing pretty much. No more prescriptions for opiates and no more raising the dose for patients on narcotics. So basically I’ve been on the same dose for 15 years and now it doesn’t kill my physical pain it just keeps me from getting sick for most of the day now. Trouble is I need it for chronic intestinal and back pain…damned if I do etc…most of my friends also went to heroin and now fettie. I never did but it’s tempting sometimes.

I don't believe people last long functioning while using meth, especially when children are at risk, it takes money to keep the 8-ball rolling to satisfy their high, without it surely anything will break that so called functionality, and it is the children who suffer the most, or either grow ammune to that lifestyle of drugs, alcohol etc.. I knew too many friends who been there and back.

      I think your comment about how it's mind blowing that he decided to get help cause he lost "that" referring Max is the same type of mentality they and alot of us try to escape. You sound super judgemental yourself and the ugliest kind of judging like he isn't your idea of beauty. And I'm sure that with drugs in the picture with unhealed traumas they probably did have a lot of toxicity in the relationship but I am also sure they had beautiful moments of selfless unconditional love for one another. We all are walking traumas and unless a person decides to be conscious of this and productively work to make themselves and each day better then we continously damage others and put others through more trauma being on drugs or sober for that matter. One thing about being an addict is once you get sober you just see how sick everyone is and younare grateful that it pushed you to place where you can truly see past the veneer of people. But I just wanted to say something about your ugly smart ass "that" comment. He is beautiful on the outside and probably has a soul just as beautiful.
      And he must love him to push him to get off drugs. Alot of tender hearted people chose drugs to cope with the world. You just pray they learn to see they can cope without the drugs and that drugs will eventually make you the monster you hate in the world.
