- The NOW Drive Snowboard Bindings - Selected for the Whitelines 100 Snowboard Awards
Speak to a NOW convert (and they are legion) and they’ll tell you that the classic baseplate should have gone the way of the dodo by now - the future, they’ll insist, is ‘Skate-Tech’. Now entering its second decade, JF Pelchat’s signature system has the firmest of footholds in the market, winning over grizzled pow-hounds and upstart park rats alike.
It may not have killed off its rivals yet, but it’s certainly not going anywhere. Nor are the NOW Drive bindings, arguably the jewel in the brand’s crown.

I've got size 13 Burton Photons. You think the toe strap can accommodate those and get a good connection on the tip of the boot?
Have a pair of Drives from a season or 2 ago and really dig them.
how do you unbuccle them? we just got Now NX-Gen Snowboard Bindings · Kids' · 2023 and cant unbuccle. thanks.
I have recently bought a yes greats board, would this or the select pros work better ? I mostly ride groomers with a bit of park and powder here and there.
I wanna pair some bindings with a fairly stiff board (K2 Manifest Team). I’ve already tried the Now Pilots, and they were great, but I think I’d benefit from something stiffer. Do you think the drives would be too much for park riding? (mostly jumps than rails)
Based on this video and specs, no. Bataleon Astros would also work well.
How does this compare to the katanas?
Depends if you want the Katana’s asym wrap chassis for tweaking or the power and lateral stability of this/a full wrap.
Drive bindings or Select Pros for playful pow, and the odd groomer charge?
The Drives are a little stiffer, but if you put the ankle strap in surf mode you'll probably get on super well for playful pow riding!
I got pairs and it's a boots, demolisher, 3 pairs of my boots got damaged badly...
if you buy cheap boots that will happen no problem with my vans

@@WhitelinesSnowboarding is it one of the Best allmountain bindings on the Market? In your opinion?
I’m so confused as to why they would design the toe strap this way. Running the plastic strap between the boot and the rubber cup creates a poor fit and will cause friction on the rubber cup. I can already see this breaking down incredibly fast.
