I’m in goderich Ontario. Saving up for the a74 and my a7s2 is good enough for video now but I’m really looking forward to the 7k over sampling of this new camera… got a bunch of trails and paths that are a lot like ur area, but we’ve been getting so many birds here it’s almost too easy.
I’m going to start up my own channel soon for photography too. I am so pumped after watching ur vid, thanks dude!

The 7k over sampling is awesome! Lots of room for cropping and panning. I’ll sub when you get the channel going!

What camera bag do you have? I am looking for one that will hold the A74 and 70-200 assembled like it looks like you have.

I have the Neewer Pro camera bag from Amazon. It’s about $120 CAD. Aside from some cosmetic wear, It’s held up really well for the last 3 years!

The 25p 4K footage is great for plenty of footage on the A7IV. I don’t use it for moving shots though because of the rolling shutter 😢

I don’t film a lot of broll with the a7iv because of the rolling shutter.
However the camera works well for wildlife! I usually don’t have to move the camera too quickly, so the rolling shutter doesn’t cause any issues.
I also utilize the 60fps 4k crop to get a little closer in with wildlife.

what settings do you use for these sharp photos, i have the sony a7iv as well with the 200-600mm but sometimes photos seem soft
what mode do you use on the 200-600

Depending on the subject I sometimes bring my f stop up to f8 to help capture a sharper image. I do also use DXO denoise on some of my noisier images when there isn't enough light.
