Enjoyed this review! Thank you!
therapy? no. hanging with chickadees? yes.
Exactly! Haha
Wow the color and sharpness of the blue jay at 16:41 was my favorite!
Love the casual photography adventures they are such a nice reset
Thank you! I was pretty excited to capture some nice portraits of the blue jays, they’re usually pretty shy.
Nice video Curtis and wow the birds are so tame! Subscribed!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video! This park is a great reset, when bird photography isn’t going well.
Great video. Thanks!

Awesome video Curtis! That chickadee photo with the Fall leaves was so beautiful! Can't wait to watch the rest of your videos!
Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed this one!
Dude I am so inspired by you. You motivate me to go outside and shoot wildlife.
Thanks so much! It’s awesome to hear that you're feeling inspired. Getting out there to capture wildlife is always worth it, even on the days when it’s tough to get going. Keep at it and enjoy the adventure!
@@CurtisSnapshot Will do so. Thx
Beautiful video as always Curtis ! been trying to find sandhill cranes myself, came really close near the Bradford area but due to active duck hunters must i got was an ID from merlin and audio, but in those efforts i did manage to hear a Great Horned Owl near my house on a local bridge crossing and surprising but active around 2pm so im excited to capture some owls myself and i look forward to see your next video
Sandhill cranes are so cool! This marsh is actually where I photographed my first one a few years ago. Hearing the Great Horned Owl is promising, hope you have some luck with them! Thanks for commenting, really glad you enjoyed the video!
This area seems so cool to explore. So much harrier habitat! Wish we had the same in my area.
Having the animals get so close looks like a ton of fun! Some of those shots are spectacular.
I especially like the chickadee with the black berries at 2:58, the background at 6:06 and the closeups at 17:50. So many details and clarity!
And your nuthatches over there are so beautiful too. And the blue jays, let's goo 🙌! I love the moment at 8:25 :D
The mourning dove with the cyan ring around its eye is gorgeous with the low angle. Very well done!
I know those B-Roll shots are a lot of work and they're much appreciated. They add a lot of context.
This video feels like a throwback, back when I first found your channel, and I'm all here for it!
Like you said, casual photography can be so enjoyable!
Thanks so much Adrian! I also felt like this video had more of vibe like my older videos. It’s a nice break from the story telling format, just some chill, laid-back bird photography! I will definitely be doing at least one more fall video in this format. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Hey I thought that looked like home! I think I know that trail :D
It’s the best little trail, definitely one of my favourites.
Another great video Curtis! They are peaceful, great choice of music. And I also heard that owls are super active right now, the young ones are sharpening their hunting skills!
Haha yes! Thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed the video and the choice of music.
This is beautiful. I love the birds soooo much.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words. I’m glad you enjoy the videos!
Love your videos, Curtis! I absolutely love your enthusiasm. When I’m out shooting, I’m exactly like that. And thanks for focusing on the small birds. They are just adorable! Great video! ❤😊
Thank you! I’m always happy to share my enthusiasm for nature, even when I might get a little too excited about a particular subject, like that blue jay! Haha!

yeap, nice video ill keep watching your adventures. Thanks and cheers!
Thank you!
Your photography is on point! As an aspiring wildlife photographer, I've learned a lot from your channel. Keep doing what you do!
Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words! I’m really glad the channel’s been helpful. Keep at it, and best of luck with your photography journey!
Amazing video! Here in Australia, you would never really see a small bird land in your hand other than a super tame backyard bird. Otherwise it's all large birds like parrots that eat out of peoples hands, which I wouldn't suggest because 1 cockatoo will activate the whole flock to arrive and chaos erupts haha
Currently imagining all those chickadees that were after me, as big parrots! - I can see the chaos! Haha
Really glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for commenting!
Ahhhh great video mate, what an awesome experience !!! Can't wait to see more :)
Thank you so much! I’m excited for these fall colours to shine in full force!

Curtis is there any chance to view the actual snapped photos you show in the video as stills in jpgs full res. You make it look it easy :)
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment! I don’t have these photos available anywhere in full res at the moment. I have considered adding a gallery to my website in the future.
Can always post on Flickr curtis
Hi Curtis my name is Sergio I live in Italy! I have the same camera and lens as you, that is the A7IV and the 200/600!! I would like to ask you a question, please? When you put the 200/600 on the camera, that is on the bayonet, and once you have locked it, tell me if when you turn it right and left, that is holding the camera in your hand and turning the lens right and left, forcing it a little, don't you feel a little play? Because mine does and both the lens and the camera are new and I feel it even with the 24/70!! I would like to know if it is normal or if I have to send it to the service, thanks and regards.
Hey Sergio, I really appreciate the comment! I actually saw your email first and replied to that, but I’ll share my answer here as well in case anyone else stumbles across the comment and may be curious themselves.
Every lens I’ve used on the A7IV has a tiny bit of play when it’s locked into place. I believe this is just the nature of metal mounts, so there’s nothing to worry about! As long as the rubber gaskets around the 200-600’s mounting point are intact, your weather sealing should work great too.
But of course, if the extra play seems a bit more significant, then contacting support or visiting a local camera shop might be a good idea, for peace of mind.
Feel free to email me or reply here if you have any other questions. Congratulations on the new camera and lens!
@@CurtisSnapshot Ok because they had told me that but I have been carrying it in my hand so many times because it is a bit heavy and when you lift it, it is a bit of a mess in combination with the optics and I feel that play and I didn't have it with the A7III! But if you say that you feel it too, ok, thanks.
