This is a pretty rare find! Limited run for the last year with the addition of sc/t embroidery and rear badge! Just found one in the junk yard and saved the seats for my custom turbocharged grand am!
Still drive one today 3.4 V6 slowly fixing it up. I’d love to get mine repainted but that’s $$$ so that’ll have to wait for right now but things I’ve done to mine so far. Tires , brakes , rotors , callipers , window regulators , headlights , fog lights , oil , brake fluid , coolant , power steering fluid , battery , serpentine belt , tensioner , passenger door panel , hvac blower fan , speakers , front windshield and did a deep cleaning. Still some things too do sounds like a lot but it wasn’t really a lot of that stuff needed to be done.
same here🤣🤣 my paint is fucked and so are my window regulators. and the sun roof shakes in reverse and the cover is missing the door cards have stuff shaking inside lmao and a MASSIVE oil leak from the head but it runs pretty damn in fact it does burnouts still🤣🤣🤣 and i’ve won some cash street racing against stock cars and one boosted Cavalier😂😂
@@thatcarguy0710 nice all that’s little thing I would get the oil leak fixed though but these are fun cars too drive they got that old early 2000s feel too then I personally like how tight the steering feels and the acceleration got some good torque to it
@@ryans413 oh yea they are definitely some of the best cars in terms of driving experience and keep in mind i’ve driven much more expensive cars like a 2018 Camaro SS and ZL1 but i still prefer a good old 2000’s fwd V6 with a 4 speed and an empty curvy road with long stretches in between and the acceleration is pretty nice on mine even with an oil leak as big as it is only thing is you can smell the oil burning as it splashes on the exhaust after flooring it around corners
@@thatcarguy0710 I feel the acceleration is good once cruising and the power feels good from a dead stop. I was next to a big diesel truck an f350 and I’m in my 3.3 v6 Pontiac light goes green I’m already gone and I can hear that diesel wide open throttle barley keeping up. I did get beat by a newer Honda Civic but I’d expected that those type Rs are fast it was a nice car and I’m here in a 18 year old Pontiac lol
I dont understand why the seats have the sc/t badge. That is a Gt1 model, seems like someone installed the seats from a concept model which was supercharged and had a manuel transmission. Also was a convertable.
Grand ams never got a production supercharged version. Only the concepts had them. And manuals only we're out in base model 4 cylinder versions. They really cheated us out of some cool versions!
@@KimGnoSnek i dont know why they bothered with the whole sct its had nothing different then a GT noting at all , other then the spazzy sct badge on the seat that literally represents Nothing

Agreed. This is the only one i've personally seen :)))
@@CarsTrucksBuses I've found 3 in the bone yard! Crazy people would just leave them like that. I've also found 30th anniversary ones as well!
God this brings back memories. I loved my grand am sc/t
Bought my Red ‘05 GA SC/T in ‘08 it💪🏽 she’s still going strong.
I loved my 1999 Grandam GT. Great Car.

Found one with less than 100k miles at $5k. Might test drive it
The Pontiac Grand Am is honestly underrated
They are nice looking but the FWD killed all these cool GM cars..
9:30 Ozzy Osbourne "See you on the other side" 🤟
I have Oldsmobile alero...I like alero interior over grand am but I like grand am exterior design especially hood scoops

SC-T was an appearance package, although it was just the seats and sticker on the trunk that was different..
Never heard of an SCT before. That more h p than a regular GT ?
5 more hp
Wish I still had my 05 sc/t
Those are great cars
sweet
You'll never find that car in that condition again
SC/T (supercharged touring), where is the supercharger? It is definitely a GT but not SC/T.
Sc/t became just an appearance package. The supercharger never made it past the concept stage in the grand am sadly.

That thing'll will probably run great until 350k

Cars also running a bit hot.
