Mammoth! I love seeing scratch built models so much, I think it tickles the same parts of my brain that 3D modelling does, which is the field I'm coming from. Also recycling old toys is a definite good deed in my book. I do think the mammoth could use more... stuff? Gribbly bits? It's looking a little naked next to the new sculpts, but I definitely understand considering how long and hard you clearly worked on this video. With the time constraints and it being done by just you and Hatty, all of it is truly astounding work, very impressive.
Gonna be honest, while the other sculpts were clearly the product of lots of hard work and creative vision, I have to give the "favorite Squiggoth" award to Manny the Mammoth. Both as a testament to Manny's long-suffering career as a toy, and as proof that you can scratch build great things out of cheap materials. (Most Warhammer collectors have a surplus of sprues, for example).
When and where tf you be ordering. FW has never without fail sent my order within a couple days, only combining special products into an order like the mistake midwinter made usually does that. 💀
As an American, watching you vlog your "day trip" to France sort of rocked my world. So cool that you live in a place that a) you actually have good enough public transportation and b) you are close enough to be a train ride away from Paris!? Incredible. Very jealous.
He is also one ferry away from Amsterdam or Antwerp. I heard someone say to me that their daughter finds "Paris much more intereseting than Phoenix, AZ". No shit.
Most of Europe is visitable from the UK if you get up early enough (depending upon where in the uk too) by either flight, train or ferry. It can be quite expensive though for a single day trip for some locations so better to do a weekend.
I hear you. But then again, we Europeans can't easily go to Vegas, the grand canyon, or The Metropolitan Museum in NY. Or whatever is relatively near you XD.

I always said that Games Workshop quality and customer service went down and their prices went up since becoming publicly traded company this video proves my point, seriously wth.
I mostly agree, though I'm not sure you can say quality of the products went down. The resin stuff has always been a more serious project and that hasn't changed but the more 'default' models from GW now are really really good quality in fit and finish it seems, if strange in how they are broken up, the paints still seem to be good etc. The price is not so defensible compared to the others, but the quality of GW stuff after flirting with finecast has probably gone up overall I'd suggest.
Great video! I do have one thing to add. From what I could find GW model is 10 years old, the kromtech is from what I could find 3 years old. This does not mean GW is safe from critique but I do think standards have and quality increased a lot. Just something I thought is worth adding.
your kids saying good bye to Manny and your dog were definitely the highlights the video. I mean good job on the building and painting of the three awesome models as well I guess.

I got a Shark Tyrant on Etsy which was approximately the right size and built a platform on its back out of coffee stirrers which comfortably holds and supports a 5" metal pirate cannon I'm using as a Supa-kannon, Ghaz, and 20 Orks all at the same time I was able to hide a magnetic sheet between layers of coffee sticks so all my models are magnetised down It was a fraction of the price of an official Forge world one, and matches my Freeboota army's aesthetic a lot better
