Mines and Meadows ATV Park

- Today we took our 2 Can Am Maverick X3's to Wampum, PA to ride the Mines and Meadows ATV Park and to tour the Limestone Mine. Sheri's parents Joe and Donna came along on their Yamaha Rhino. Mines and Meadows has around 85 miles of trails and has a wide variety of trails for everyone. part 2 coming soon...

Mines and Meadows is a pretty cool place to ride. The mine tour is something you can’t find anywhere else.

The mine tour is a must see. It’s just so different than anything else we’ve ever done. Let me know when you go, we could probably come over and ride.

We stopped going because the trails were in terrible condition the last 2-3 times we went. That, and we discovered Majestic trails.... Cool video though.
You did a good job filming the mine tour. I was there last summer and went through it on my quad.

I’m in Erie Pennsylvania, i went there once with a group, some of whom are dead now. But I’m riding with a new group and I’ve told them about this place, trying to convince them to go again.. honestly, i think some are afraid of the dark! 😂… was a great park with great people. 👍
We really enjoy riding here. The mine tour is really cool. It’s about 2 hours from us. We’re in Hollidaysburg pa.

Why are the coolest parks always near a highline.
I have a question how can you ride through that mine with the roof of the mine not being bolted up??
I have no idea haha. It’s a guided ride on leased land.
do i need atv registration or is it just you pay for administration and go
Registration is not required. You can just pay for the daily or membership permit and be on your way.
i was a mine examiner by trade!!!!! when i was working in pa. you could not have a spark engine undergroungd!!!!
does that mine have fan
Not that I’m aware of, I know that it’s a limestone mine but that’s about it.

I just double checked their website to see if maybe I was wrong but it says it is a limestone mine. 🤷♂️

M&M is a cool place. IMO the trails have too deep of ruts for ATV.
Hi guys, I'm sure you get this question frequently, what part of pa. Are you from? We ride alot of the same places or know of them.
We’re out of Hollidaysburg pa. About 10 mins outside of Altoona.
Just out of curiosity... is that mines regulated by the state or the park in order to keep it open or public use? I would like to go and ride this.
Yes, it’s regulated by the park owners. I believe the property that this mine sits on is only leased. You pay 5.00 per machine for a tour and is guided.
How much are the atv rentals ??
Manny Caballero I’m not sure, we have our own and we’ve never checked into an atv rental before. I’m sure you could find it on their website or Facebook though.
Are your x3s 72 inches wide? Was wondering if a KRX would fit through the mine portal. Love the videos BTW!
Thanks for watching. We are 68” wide with our wheel and tire set up but we ride with 72” machines. They fit just fine into the mine.

What size tires are on the rhino?
They are on my father in laws buggy. He says they are 245/70 r12.

You guys seem to ride in my general area quite a bit. Where you guys from? I live fairly close to the ICV ATV club.
We are in the Hollidaysburg area. It’s about 1-1/2 from ICV.

How long is the mine trail
Chris lengyel - It’s about a 15 minute tour. You go in about a 1/4 mile and the guide will stop and have everyone turn the lights off and tells a story then you head back out.

Haha, I honestly don’t know the answer to that but I can tell you there are no cooler checks.
